So exquisite is the food I can say that Papi's will be the only Mexican place I visit until I can get back to South of the border. Stopped here on way back from a vacation; ( son stopped here on way to vacation and said to stop on way back ) There were 9 of us and the food choices were great and the burritos were nice size. The staff was great as weak; I changed an order kind of midstream and they adjusted to it. Small sitting inside so we put tables together outside to sit together. This most unique burrito offering is the Hot Cheeto Burrito. Which is made with a burrito stuffed with French fries, your choice of meat, Hot Cheetos, yellow melted cheese, guacamole, sour creat and topped with shredded cheese. I also tried the Torta, (which is a Mexican version of a sub sandwich) on a sub style bun filled with your meat choice, beans, shredded cheese, lettuce, sliced tomatoes, onion & avocado served with a side of french fries. I've been back a few more times since my first review, and it hasn't hit quite as hard as that first time; I'm still chasing that dragon. The food quality seems to have gone down a bit. Still very enjoyable, just not quite as punchy. The locale is teeny tiny but very conveniently located. And the staff hasn't been standout either. Great quality food & Quick friendly service. It's rather small inside but it wasn't an issue. We were in & out pretty quick. But not rushed at all ;) We asked for hot sauce & they brought a couple bottles out to our table. Both had good flavor. The cheese with the chips has a subtle jalapeño flavor. So good. I forgot to take pics but we would definitely come back when we're in the area. They even have a customer appreciation card so if you buy something 8 times or so, you get 2 free tacos! This is long but important if you care about ethics and fair business practices. TL;DR, Papi's is legitimately lying to their customers and ripping them off at a 1:3 ratio. Ordered carryout for two, added a 12oz cup of queso $4.50 or so extra (no chips included). Got home with the food and it was very obviously a 4oz cup of queso. so I drove the 2 miles back to the restaurant to point out what happened. Manager/shift lead insisted to me that it was 12oz and that they had changed the style of cup that the queso comes in. They even showed me 2oz cup that they claimed was 4oz and then showed me a different sized lid that they claimed was from their older 12oz cups. I knew I was being lied to but I left. I got home, went straight to the kitchen, and grabbed an 8oz Pyrex measuring cup from the cabinet and dumped the "12oz cup" of queso into the Pyrex cup. To the surprise of no one, the queso filled to about the 4oz line. I took my Pyrex cup and their "12oz cup" back to the restaurant and was immediately met with pushback. I told the guy I knew he was lying to me the first time and the proof was before him. He still tried to lie about the capacity of the cup. I told him if he could pour 12oz in the cup I would give him $100 and he said he needed to call his boss to see if he could make it right. I waited several minutes before I was finally brought a cup of queso that looked to be about 12oz. read more

First time. I stopped in to pick up a vegetable pizza. They did offer one for me and my wife to share. She can't eat red meat so not all pizza places offer vegetarian or chicken pizza. The flavor of the birria and carnitas tacos I got was definitely notable, and my friends all loved what they got (I think we tried 6 different tacos between us). Prices were very reasonable given the taste, uniqueness, and quality. I'd definitely go back! (One note: there's a reason that chips & guac aren't on the menu. All three adults that ate the food had major stomach issues and we all believe we got food poisoning. Two of us had not eaten anything else that day. So, doubt it was just a coincidence. I loved this place as a food truck and am so glad they have 2 locations now, one in etown and one in Radcliff. I LOVED their shrimp burritos when they had them on the truck then they stopped offering them. I was very disappointed. I always got my husband the chimichanga. He said it was okay but he is super picky. And it was usually cold by the time he got home, so that may have been the problem. My husband and I tried to visit one weekday around 5:00 at the etown location and the line was out the door. We decided not to wait. But I went back on my own one day for lunch. I got the ground beef tacos. They were pretty good. I LOVED the fried shells! The ground beef was nothing special, didn't taste like it had any seasoning. I wish I could give 3.5 stars because the tacos were decent and the burrito was great but they don't offer it anymore. I WILL be back to try some other things and I definitely recommend giving this place a try. read more

I have visited Etown Papi's several times for my taco fix and I have cravings for the elote. Recently used them to cater a graduation party end of May. I was so very impressed with the quality and quantity of food for a reasonable price. The location near me was concerned about accommodating my schedule and asked if I would mind to pick it up at the Radcliff location. It was not a problem. The catering trays were prepared on time for us to pick up, food was packaged well for transport and temperature was just as desired when the guests were served. Highly recommend the food and service. We will definitely visit again and use them to cater events in the future. read more

I decided to try this place, maybe expecting too much from the reviews. First, it was sweltering hot inside the tiny dining area, and seating is very limited inside. There are only 3-4 tables inside and a couple outside. There is a limited drink selection, just glass bottle soda and some ice tea bottles. No diet or sugar-free options. The fajita burrito I had was ok, the tortilla was very chewy and bland. The filling was decent, but not a whole lot of meat. My kid's Carne Asada taco was very heavy on the cilantro, but was good otherwise.
