    Chicken chimichanga

The Guacamole wasn't very good they have a fresh option which may be better. The chicken chimichanga was awesome probably the best I have ever ate. The Chile pebleno according to my girlfriend was good. We walked in a karaoke was blaring the locals were having fun . I would recommend this place

Daughter's bf's family suggested this place as a great choice for Mexican food. Given it was Cinco De Mayo it was quite busy but a great environment, little loud but to be expected. They have the bar area separate with karaoke along with a smoking patio at the back side. Good oldies music was playing in the background too. The service was a little slow but given how busy they were that is understandable . The food was very flavorful and delicious. The steak, chicken and shrimp was so flavorful and fresh, so fresh in fact I got juice from the green pepper on my face when I cut into it. The onions and shrimp were cooked perfectly! I love a colorful dish and as you can see from the picture the dinner was very colorful. Even though we all handed different receipts and credit cards for the dinner tab the waitress charged all the dinners on my bf's card! I understand with it being busy and all but if we handed all different receipts and cards how can you mess that up??? The waitress realized once she came back to the table and did get it corrected. I Finally got time to sit and post, all in all a great experience!

Convenient right off the turnpike. Very friendly efficient service, huge portions, delicious food & really reasonable prices. We couldn't finish our lunch combo platters and they were under $20. Very authentic, this is where the locals & state troopers eat. We were one of the few hear that did not speak Spanish. I learned on my travels that wherever there is agriculture there are Mexican's & the women bring the best local dishes. A lot more exciting than Cracker Barrel and the usual big chains off the highway and we prefer supporting small mom and pop businesses

The service was good, but the food tasted like it was frozen, and then microwaved. I usually eat all my food but i didnt even wanna eat half of it

Cold Ground Beef Enchilada, (soggy) crunchy taco, cold unseasoned beans and rice.

The food was not good. Presentation was bad, no seasoning and enchilada was cold. Look at the picture and tell me how delicious it looks! I was very disappointed as this establishment does not reflect its culture.

On the way back from Rough River stopped at Elizabethtown to have supper, since we stopped at 2 different places and they were closed. We ordered the Arracahera Asada and burritos supremos. For dessert we had flan and a bowl of ice cream since they didn't have fried ice cream. The asada was salty, and according to my friend he enjoyed his burrito. Service was great and the facility was clean.

This is my favorite Mexican place in town. If you come on an empty stomach, I recommend the Alambra Combo.

The staff was great as weak; I changed an order kind of midstream and they adjusted to it. Small sitting inside so we put tables together outside to sit together. All the while we ate; people trickled in 1 x 1. By the way the hot sauce is hot. Everyone's food was great tasting. Nice little place, seems locals like it!

This most unique burrito offering is the Hot Cheeto Burrito. Which is made with a burrito stuffed with French fries, your choice of meat, Hot Cheetos, yellow melted cheese, guacamole, sour creat and topped with shredded cheese. I also tried the Torta, (which is a Mexican version of a sub sandwich) on a sub style bun filled with your meat choice, beans, shredded cheese, lettuce, sliced tomatoes, onion & avocado served with a side of french fries. You will be happy with the people and all the variety's they offer here, this is one of the easiest reviews I have ever had. We were ecstatic to be here. Plenty of space to eat in comfort. The monster burritos are addictive as well, come hungry you will leave full and you will not regret it. The staff is friendly g and very welcoming.

Greeted warmly by the owner and served by her husband. Super nice and the service was fast. We got our usual and they were good, but the sauce on my chile relleno was a little different more tart than I would like. Their "street tacos" are really good, I had it with lengua, dressed simply with cilantro and onions. They did offer it with cheese and other things like tomatoes. Some of the other taquerias do and I don't know why, that's a good way to ruin a good taco. The tacos are very good and I could probably just have eaten that. I got some flan and some candies to go. If you want authentic and a few more dishes that the aforementioned Mexico Lindo then La Paloma would be an excellent choice.

Even with the saturation of Mexican restaurants in the area, La Paloma very much stands out for me. First of all, the food is wonderful. The way they prepare their meals, even the plates they use, feel a lot more home-y to me, in the absolute best way. Their salsas are delicious, so much so that my husband seems to forget every single time that he and the extra hot sauce don't get along. He says it's worth it every time. We also really love the empanadas, especially the cheese ones. The staff is always very sweet, and the locale makes it feel like you're at home. We really love this place, we would recommend this to anyone, and we've brought many people here to try for themselves.
