Some prices are equally high, but if you choose well you don't have to break the bank. Meanwhile you'll get to experience what a creative chef can do to elevate the usual street food to an experience. There was only one server, but he covered the whole room during our lunch with ease. He was very good -- efficient with a pleasing personality. We started with the elote appetizer -- Mexican street corn. The presentation was wonderful. This was perfect to share. It was messy, but delicious. There were three large pieces. Each was a long section of a corn cob with the kernels attached. And it was covered in seasoning, cheese, and sauce. There were lime wedges on the side. We used a lot of napkins. After the corn , we each ordered a taco. I had the fish one. Very lightly battered pollock, it was one piece of fish. Along with the fish was a cabbage slaw, salsa, and cheese. It was served open faced on top of the flour tortilla. It was fairly plain without the sauce and benefited from some lime squeezes. My husband had the al pastor taco. The meat was served on top of two tortillas. He then stuffed each shell to his liking. There was a lot of shredded pork along with grilled pineapple, onions, and cilantro. He said it was very good with a bit of a kick from the meat marinade. They have a lot more than tacos on the menu. Full entrees from snapper to steak. Also salads and appetizers from mussels to empanadas. Glad we dropped by for lunch to try them. It was a learning experience -- as well as a good meal.

It has a fun, unique vibe that's a cool twist on a typical taco spot. The food was delicious. We ordered the guacamole, the birria tacos, and one of the chicken tacos, and everything was flavorful and fresh. The only downside for me was the ordering process. Instead of ordering with a person, you have to use a kiosk. It took away from the overall experience, especially since an employee was standing right next to us while we placed our order. I would have much preferred ordering directly with a staff member. Overall, though, the food and atmosphere made it worth the visit.

It is Cinco de Mayo and Tuesday here and we didn't see anything special. We grabbed a table near the walk of fame and sat down to watch the music video while we waited for our food. Everything else we ordered was fine and enjoyable. Our server for a large party did a great job with splitting checks and remembering each meals along with topping off drinks. The inside of the restaurant could really use some attention. It looks a bit rundown, the tables were a little dirty, and the silverware wasn't clean, which took away from the experience. With some improvements to cleanliness, a refresh to the space, and more consistency in the kitchen, this place could easily be better. There's potential here, but right now it lands at a solid three stars.
