Hi, i'm a longtime berkley resident and for lunch i went to this location in berkley, while being there, we were waiting to receive our food, a female working, a friend said her name might be Alexis, walked by multiple times saying i'll be with you in a moment, we were waiting for about 20 minutes. Me and my bestfriend were arguing and i was smacking his arm because "maybe alexis" had called our food, and he turned to me and said "im getting up damn" and "Maybe Alexis" said "i'll refund your food" and we tried to explain that in no way were we talking to her and she walked away. and then when returned with the money it was the wrong amount, and when my friend and said "this isn't the right amount" she argued back and said "yes it is" and my friend said again " no it's not my food was seventeen dollars" she began yelling "why are you just standing there then"... as if we had no business waiting on the rest of OUR money, and i said " because it's the wrong amount but i'm so-" and she rudely cut me off-i would like to point out i've seen her have an attitude before with customers idk if she's angry with her situation or what. but she rudely cuts me off and says "you can leave too" and i said "i'm trying to apologize i'm literally trying to say i'm sorry for being di-" and she cuts me off once again, whole time she's screaming across the restaurant at me "THERES CHILDREN IN HERE", i was not aware because i did not say the word "damn" but i tried to apologize again, and i could over hear the child's parents talking and i think they may have even thought it was ridiculous the situation. We are very good at acknowledging our wrongs, and when tried to apologize we were shut down multiple times, we understand the word "damn" may have been more offensive to "Maybe Alexis" than the family with child. I think that yes, we should watch what we say, and we apologized even with our right to freedom of speech. But i also think "Maybe Alexis" needs to learn to hear people out who are trying to apologize, and also she might need a reality check because over 50% of parents cuss infront of their kids. and if "Maybe Alexis" sees this.... i'm so deeply sorry be offended you with our use of the word "damn"
