Usually there good but this time was just bad first of all the woman who took the order was rude she was rushing us and gave us all the drinks one by one right after we asked for a drink carrier but after we started eating it (she missed some stuff) when we got home some pieces of the chicken quesadillas were plain gave us the littlest bit of cheese for the nachos WOULD NOT RECOMMEND but ig this is what you get at the berea Taco Bell if you have time go to any other one

Spiked frozen lemonade (with cactus juice?)

Conveniently located at the Chestnut Street exit near Walmart, this Taco Bell features ample parking and late night hours. I stopped in with a neighbor for a late lunch. The interior space to the counter a bit cramped, although the in-house seating makes up for it. We ordered a supreme taco combos with a frozen lemonade each. The orders were prepared promptly, cooked to proper temperature. The frozen lemonade was fine too. To be honest, "spiking" them with cactus juice really didn't do much for the taste. On the plus side, taking about a third of a large home and adding a shot of well bourbon... Oh my stars. Great location, craving solved, and friendly staff. Taco Bell makes a good cheat day lunch.

1/2? ...maybe their version of a child size portion Still one of my favorite stops. This wasn't a deal breaker for me!!!

Usually a favorite stop of mine. The food is generally up to my fast foodish standards. Today they dropped the ball lol I ordered a Doritos Loco Taco and it was only half full! I guess I'll need to specify from now on that I want a whole taco instead of just 1/2 :)

"Doritos Locos" Disgusting, under-filled, inedible food. Skip this Berea location unless you're into food poisoning and soggy taco shells.

Awful slow service. At least a 25 minute wait for a few tacos. Workers don't care and seemed high.

Stopped in today for lunch and got some amazing authentic Mexican food. I ordered 4 tacos -…read morecarnitas, al pastor and adobada. They were all great but I favored the carnitas. The meat was super tender and tasty. The best part was the sauce they bring out to the table in little squirt bottles. The red sauce was a chipotle flavored salsa and the green was just as amazing, maybe even more so. Prices were really reasonable, $1.75 per taco and other menu items were under $10. The only downside was that it took a little while (about 20 minutes) for it to be made. Of course, that means it was cooked fresh! I can't wait to come back!

Ok, I'll admit it, I'm a taco snob. No Taco Bell taco facsimiles for me. I want the real thing. I…read morewant to walk into a shop and see the menu in Spanish and find the tables filled with Latino immigrants longing for a taste of home. That's what you'll find at Taqueria Hidalgo. The menu is not extensive, tacos, burritos, soup (posole on the weekends) sandwiches, and quesadillas but who needs an extensive menu? We are really here for the tacos, right? So, let's talk about the tacos. I'm a huge fan of tripas (tripe) tacos. Growing up in East Tennessee I would never have imagined myself willingly eating the intestines of any animal but here I am, longing for those delectable morsels of deliciousness on a good tortilla with lime and a fiery green salsa. Taqueria Hidalgo delivers. The tripe tacos (order it cooked crispy) are delicious. The owner tells me they sell a huge amount of the tripe tacos and I see why - each crispy little piece of tripe is an earthy, porky, bite of heaven. Add the standard onions, cilantro, and lime along with some of the homemade green salsa and it's an explosion of flavor in your mouth. For the less advanced taco connoisseurs, they also have chicken, steak, marinated pork, etc. but be aware these are Mexican style street tacos - no cheese and served on soft corn tortillas. I'm so happy we have this family run business in Richmond. It is an asset to the community. Check it out!

Morning was phenomenal, service was impeccable, food was definitely delicious and cooked with love, everyone was really friendly and helpful seeing as we had never been there. The interior is really nice has a home like vibe to it and very cozy. There is a even a game section in the back corner, board games, books etc. They have an interesting take on waffles! The prices are more than affordable, a full size drink can sound a little costly but I would definitely say the flights for the lattes are definitely worth it. I fell in love with Coco Loco and my boyfriend is obsessed with all of them. Womelette, Nutella waffles, and breakfast sandwich were ‍ Refreshers weren't my favorite, not sure if maybe they just put too much syrup etc in it but even my son had a hard time swallowing watermelon crawl and riptide as they had been way too sweet. Strawberry Cloud was extremely refreshing still sweet but not too much just the perfect blend. The panini was delicious accompanied with chips and balsamic vinaigrette and the fact that I could bring my dog Butters was even better! They have a gorgeous patio on the exterior. Lastly, our morning experience was definitely more accommodating than our afternoon experience. Our refreshers came in itty bitty tiny cups not worth the money of roughly 9-10 with tax. The service itself did not compare to the morning service.

Drove out to Richmond to meet some friends for dinner…read more We ordered some wings and choriqueso for an app 10/10. I always like to try wings at Mexican restaurants and they are always great. My friend ordered the molcajete and everything was super tender and it came with a house sauce at the bottom of it to give it extra flavor. It has a variety of meats and fried cheese and a cactus piece on it. Definitely big enough for two and unique! I ordered the carne asada, my piece came with more fat than I'm used to. Although the flavor was great. I paired it with a michelada and it came out a little spicy. The service was great they were on top of it. The inside of the restaurant was gorgeous too, very colorful and cozy. Seats were comfortable, overall a good dinner experience.

I judge every trip to a new Mexican place by their version of the Speedy Gonzalez. This is a taco, an enchilada bean or rice. I had the beef version of this here, while it was solid, it did not blow my socks off. Beef was seasoned well, everything was piping hot and the taste was pretty bland overall. The refried beans were very tasty and the little bit of cheese on top was a great touch! I did not care for the salsa and chips. It didn't have much zip to it or any onion or cilantro flavors that I like. Chips were thick but warm and sprinkled with salt. I was there in the middle of the day and the place seemed a little dark. Service was fast and friendly. I will give it another whirl and try something different. But there are other Mexican places I will try before I go back to this one. Will give them an shout out for putting the crunchy taco on a bed of lettuce.
