I was informed it was probably wet because of the shredded chicken. How is it that other Mexican restaurants can handle shredded chicken in quesadillas without causing them to be wet, and they can not? This was absolutely disgusting. I realize this is a small town Mexican restaurant, but for goodness sake, try using the internet and figure out how to make this dish!

The two-star rating is for the cleanliness and atmosphere -- nice music and a good waiter. There was salsa and chips on the table when I arrived, and I was very hungry. The salsa was good, but the chips were extremely greasy. The food came quickly. My friend's plate didn't look like what it was described to be, it looked more like scrambled eggs. I can't comment further on her food because I didn't taste it. I had the tostada platter. The guacamole was fresh but absolutely bland. They forgot to put the onions on it. The tomato was the most pale shade of pink you can imagine, and the edges of the lettuce were brown. The rice was way too salty, and the beans were literally spoiled and inedible. I probably will not ever return to this restaurant, and if I do, I will have coffee and nothing else.

Well, this little gem in Springfield in my option might be the best I've tried. We got the carne asada burrito and of course we wanted to try the tacos (asada and pastor). The carne asada flavor was perfect. The quality of the beef was perfection. Not much fat and or chewy part where you either have to spit it out or you have to force swallow. None of that happened with every bite. The pastor (not a pork eater) but I had to try it. It has the perfect crunch and softness. The flavor was well blended. It did not have much cinnamon taste to it. The corn tortillas they use for the tacos was perfect. It's not oily or doubled. The burrito itself was hands down the best! Straight to the point. The service was straight to the point. We didn't wait long at all and everything is made to order FRESH! I had to take home a burrito as we are 7 hours away. We definitely will go back here everyday during our visit to Springfield.

We were quickly seated and served our drinks and given chips and salsa. I can always tell if a Mexican place will have any hope based off their salsa. The salsa here is good, so I was already thrilled. I ordered the vegetarian fajitas. They're supposed to come with cactus, but mine did not. However, that didn't really detract from the other fresh veggies. The dish came out with a literal cauldron of goodness with lots of flavor. Included were rice and beans. Let's not forget the salsa bar either! I piled on the habanero salsa and it was nice and spicy. There was enough food for at least 2 full meals. The leftovers were great again the next day.
