They make you pay for the bag to put your food it!! We do not live in Augusta. We live an hour away and do not have a Taco Bell but when somebody has to go to Augusta, we always bring back Taco Bell since we don't have it here. My husband went in and ordered a bunch of tacos and bean and cheese burritos.he asked for no onions and the bean and cheese burritos and the guy working the register said that they make them so fast they might have onion on them even tho he hasn't finished ordering. Keep in mind that we do this quite often and usually everything's perfectly fine by the time it gets home. Nothing was right in the order. We even ordered a couple regular soft tacos and they were soaking wet. He checked everything in the car and ate a taco and it tasted stale and old and it was so soggy that he thought maybe it was dipped in water. The picture below is the soggy taco. Every single item we ordered, ended up like this. Whether it was a burrito, Chalupa, or taco. Absolutely disgusting, rude employees who pre-make everything and let it sit there and does not care about the quality of their food. I love Taco Bell and this made me never want to go again. Of course I will go again, but I will never go to this location. My husband said that the restaurant had dirty tables and food all over the floor. Had I had known I would have told him to go somewhere else because I don't want to even eat the food, knowing that the place is dirty.

Unfortunately, the few times I have tried to get food from this Taco Bell something always goes wrong. I go here because I get out of work late and they're the only place open, but the food has been so bad the last three visits that from now on I'll just stop at a gas station somewhere for a sandwich. Today literally half my order was forgotten, I got none of the sauce that I asked for, and the food they did make took almost 40 minutes and was ice cold when I opened it up, and missing some ingredients, so we threw it away. My order cost $41 and only $8 worth of the food we got was edible and in the bag. I was offered $5 off my next order, but I will not be going back to cash it in. Even if you are starving and withering away to nothing, I promise you you'd be better off in the ground than at the Western Ave Taco Bell.

I have stopped here many times for a quick snack passing through Augusta. Today I wish I had not. The real downfall of fast food isn't COVID, it's the non concern of employees and lack of quality control by management.

Staff very rude, asked for no sour cream, and they put a lot of it on my burrito, was soupy too

Staff were rude and slow, the food was soupy and really gross looking, we were rushed at the drive through, do not recommend coming to this one.

This is my order from yesterday. As you can see I asked for both with none

We were seated promptly and our drink orders went right in while we looked at the menu. I had never been here before, we asked what the server recommends. She was spot on. We started with a round of pulled pork nachos for the table. I went with shrimp tacos (aioli on the side as I was worried about spice level). Others at the table had the Reuben, chicken tacos, and house chili. Our drinks came out fast, the food was not far behind, our eyes were met with generous portions nicely garnished. The pulled pork nachos were exactly what we expected southerwestern-y cumin-y deliciousness assisted by sour cream, and fresh salsa goodness everything was perfectly seasoned. My shrimp tacos came with lime, avocado, and purple cabbage with spicy aioli on the side. The meaty shrimp with the crisp cabbage were all mellowed together by the creamy avocado. I would eat them for days. Everyone in my party cleaned their plates! The atmosphere is country-chic. There is a saloon decor vibe but it's also hipster steam punk meets old west. The main dining area is clean, spacious and was decorated for the holiday. By the time we left the dining room was a little over half capacity with folks peppered around the bar. It wasn't too noisy, there is country music in the background, but it was fine for conversation. The overall vibe is fun, light, and hospitable, plus there was a pinch of yule-time joy in the air. There is a front and rear entrance, parking is on the street. Around the back of downtown are assorted free parking lots there is also a free parking garage nearby as well, so parking is not a problem. Downtown Augusta is always dolled up this time of year with twinkling lights, snowmen, and such. I recommend The Whiskey Kitchen. Whether you need a space for a working lunch - there is Wi-Fi- looking for a special gathering for an occasion make The Whiskey Kitchen your destination!

The place was clean and nice. And the foods flavor was good. Now, the bad. While the flavor of the food was good, the food itself wasn't. Everything was extremely dry. We got the hush puppies to start and the sampler to try a little of everything. It was like a desert it was so dry. The hush puppies, chicken, ribs, brisket (which was more like pulled pork because they shred it for some reason) corn bread, and somehow both the coleslaw and baked beans, too. The only way this happens is if they make things earlier in the day and then everything just sits. Meaning it's not freshly made. As I mentioned, it was not very busy, so I'm assuming they make their food in advance and let it sit in pans over heat all day. Which is not what you do with BBQ. It's quite disappointing because the flavor is there. The spices they use were a southern flavor, which is good; but it's so dry, you'll be reenacting the scene from Christmas Vacation just to eat your food. They should consider either limiting their hours they are open to help not have food sitting around to dry out or reconsidering how the make their food. Dry BBQ is the worst, hopefully they'll make the appropriate changes.

The servers are usually great. Coincidently the last one we had with the quinoa mishap had very little to no personality shining through and did not crack a smile the entire time so that was a little off putting but we still enjoyed our time there with some family. It's extremely difficult to hear anyone when the music is playing as it's honestly not set at a reasonable level and we avoid coming in the evenings as we like to sit in the bar area where it gets hella loud. Overall an ok place to grab a bite. It feels sticky and a little less than ideal clean a lot of the time so I wouldn't say it's anything to highly recommend but it'll do when you gotta have Mexican food and you're in the area.
