I know it's a typical bad review at a fast food joint but I'm not a Yelper who only writes bad reviews. I promise. I'm a big TB fan so I'm not usually hating. We're from out of town and it was approaching 2pm so we ordered on our app and waited. Past the time it said. No big deal, but then had to wait another few minutes to get the drinks. Then... opened my burrito to find oily tomatoes? Again, I'm a big TB fan. I've never seen this. I order a burrito fresco style (basically add pico) and it has never, not once ever, had an oily substance inside. I ordered 3 and threw all three away. They make you pay for the bag to put your food it!! We do not live in Augusta. We live an hour away and do not have a Taco Bell but when somebody has to go to Augusta, we always bring back Taco Bell since we don't have it here. My husband went in and ordered a bunch of tacos and bean and cheese burritos.he asked for no onions and the bean and cheese burritos and the guy working the register said that they make them so fast they might have onion on them even tho he hasn't finished ordering. Keep in mind that we do this quite often and usually everything's perfectly fine by the time it gets home. Nothing was right in the order. We even ordered a couple regular soft tacos and they were soaking wet. He checked everything in the car and ate a taco and it tasted stale and old and it was so soggy that he thought maybe it was dipped in water. The picture below is the soggy taco. Every single item we ordered, ended up like this. Whether it was a burrito, Chalupa, or taco. Absolutely disgusting, rude employees who pre-make everything and let it sit there and does not care about the quality of their food. I love Taco Bell and this made me never want to go again. Of course I will go again, but I will never go to this location. My husband said that the restaurant had dirty tables and food all over the floor. Taco Bell on Western Avenue in Augusta. I just stopped in drive-through and this very large angry woman threw my bag at me and when I looked to check to make sure I had everything she slammed her window open and yelled. Are you missing something nasty. Apparently she didn't give me extra hot sauce even though I just spent 10 bucks on three tacos She's miserable and hates customers. I was told about her and told not to go there because she's horrible so I guess I'll stop. I know it's hard to hire good people for but one bad person can ruin your entire business. read more

Unfortunately, the few times I have tried to get food from this Taco Bell something always goes wrong. I go here because I get out of work late and they're the only place open, but the food has been so bad the last three visits that from now on I'll just stop at a gas station somewhere for a sandwich. Today literally half my order was forgotten, I got none of the sauce that I asked for, and the food they did make took almost 40 minutes and was ice cold when I opened it up, and missing some ingredients, so we threw it away. My order cost $41 and only $8 worth of the food we got was edible and in the bag. I was offered $5 off my next order, but I will not be going back to cash it in. Even if you are starving and withering away to nothing, I promise you you'd be better off in the ground than at the Western Ave Taco Bell. read more

My family got a craving for Taco Bell and so my two boys drive 15 mins to get it. During the day this Taco Bell is good , but tonight was horrible. My boys went through the drive through at 10:30. When they got home because the taco meat was filled with so much grease they leak through the bag and ripped it and also the shells were so soggy they couldn't be eaten. I preferred a bean burrito and my husband ordered a burrito supreme. The burritos were smaller than the frozen ones you buy in the store. My beans were dry and tasted like they had sat in the pan all day. The workers looked higher than a kite if you know what I mean. Very disappointing to pay that much and drive 30 mins round trip for food you couldn't even eat. read more

I'm from out of town and come to Augusta to visit my family every now and then. My daughter has always told me this TB location is "hit or miss, but well, I'm zero-for-two now at this location... guy at the window was super nice. Got home to cold fries and no taco sauce, when I knoooowwwwww I said "Load me up with some hot!" when he asked about the sauce. Well, at least my tacos were crunchy this time! Overall the location has never been that great, lights are never turned on when they are open, they still won't open the lobby, workers slacking off, workers hands in there pants before giving you your food. But this last experience of ours crossed the line. We orders about $15 worth of food, we parked and starting eating it. My fiancé found an end of a cigarette in his taco wrapper, it was hard and old. It was a brand nobody we know smokes so there was no way of it getting in my car. Since the lobby is closed I went up to the window and I calmly said that it was in my food. Long story short she took the cigarette end from me, I got called a liar, I was laughed at, they were suggesting that I placed it there. After further escalation we got called every name in the book, my fiancé was told to go suck a d***. He was told to go f*** his mother. He was called an ugly mother f*****. When we went to drive off and leave she ran to the lobby door, came out and continued screaming at us. It was unlike anything I've ever seen before. The conversation started calm, all it would've taken was an apology and a refund or partial refund. I understood things happen, I wasn't upset until she escalated things. She claimed she was the manager and wouldn't give me her name, but if she is a manager they really need to reevaluate who they are giving those spots to. read more

This location is very poorly managed. We witnessed a manager on duty berate and belittle employees while we waited 25 minutes for a doordash delivery order to be prepared. The lobby was full of folks waiting for orders and the drive thru line was around the block. Finally, the manager refused to fill our order and dropped the F bomb when we informed him how long we had been waiting. He has zero customer service skills and his personnel management skills are even worse. read more

probably the quickest service I've ever had at a Taco Bell ever in my life! Everyone was nice and the food was absolutely amazing. The place was clean and quiet and maybe some people were complaining about door dash taking a while? but I don't know anything about doordash I was just sitting there enjoying my food. The bean burritos were the perfect texture and the cinnamon twists were delicious. I would def come back here it's now one of my favorite Taco Bell's in Maine. read more

I go in here all the time and never have an issue until recently. I order the same thing every-time. I ordered a classic combo with no sour cream as I'm lactose intolerant. A chicken quesadilla with no jalapeño as I have ibs. One of the coworkers messaged me and said I hope you enjoy your extra sour and extra creamy jalapeño sauce. This person happens to be my ex and she knows I'm allergic. When I ask for no sour and no creamy jalapeño I always make sure and they usually fix this but this was intentional and I would not recommend going to this place anymore. read more

This is my local Taco Bell right now. I've gone here often. They usually get my order correct. The line isn't long and it goes fast. Food is predictable. If you don't usually go to Taco Bell try a little bit of everything like Mexican Pizza, Cheese Quesadilla, Doritos Taco, etc. I like that they do change up the menu at times. They used to serve breakfast before Covid. The breakfast crunch wrap was great! They don't get one less star for taking that off menu. read more

not sure what they put in my "Mexican Pizza" . it had a bitter aftertaste but I thought it was just my beverage/food choice not marrying well. Aprox 3 hours later I suddenly felt nauseous. I managed to keep from being sick but had felt horrible until about the 10 hour mark when I started vomiting. I think there was some chemical in the food. i have the same bitter taste every time I get sick and I've eaten nothing except what I ordered from this Taco Bell. I will NEVER eat at this place again and I advise you to steer clear. Not sure if there's an employee poisoning the food or it's a careless mistake but either way totally not worth the experience!! read more

i never write reviews as someone who works in fast food but this feels warranted. i have had issues with this location multiple times. they are never open, have mid tier food presentation and terrible- TERRIBLE customer service. on one occasion me and my boyfriend ordered on the app for drive-thru pick up, just to drive there and see the lights off. thirty dollars wasted because taco bell (as a whole, not just this location) doesn't know how to shut off their online ordering when unavailable. they are very inconsistent with their stated hours and either have the lobby closed, only pick up orders through the lobby or they just aren't open when they say they will be/ close early. my food has been handed to me falling apart on multiple occasions. not wrapped properly, just a mess in the bag. my most recent interaction with this business was very frustrating. i ordered to pick up, went through the line as one does to get their food. i gave the woman my name to pick up and she informed me (after i had already gotten into a long line) that i would have to come inside. no big deal, i go park and head inside. i walk in and inform the manager that i'm here for a mobile order and was greeted with attitude from her and one of her workers for even being inside the lobby...after being told to come inside. i waited almost 25 minutes for her to realize they didn't have my order. i will say i made the mistake of ordering to another location. this was completely my fault and once realizing this, i just walked out. i already knew this woman wouldn't be willing to help me in my situation. so after already wasting my money (again my fault) we drive through and try to order what i had already put my mobile in for, just to be told that it was an "online exclusive" after dealing with this situation for almost 30 minutes, we ordered whatever and just left. this location should be shut down but it probably won't be. if you're looking for a good taco bell in the area, just go to the one near civic center honestly. read more
