This place has only been open about a month, and it is a bit different than most Mexican…read morerestaurants in the area. The menu during the week is a bit limited to street style tacos (there is a toppings bar that is very nice), burritos, gortas, quesidillas, and a few more items. No salsa & chips, enchiladas, usual dinners, or sides. The weekend menu is a bit larger, and includes Borrego (lamb stew) and Menudo, and a few other plate items are added. The menu here maybe be involving, but there wasn't a lot of information available. We order 3 tacos (chorizo, asada, and pastor), an Asada Burrito, and 2 lemonades. The food was out fairly quickly, and the tacos were soon loaded with items from the toppings bar, and well as some of all four sauces - 2 reds & 2 greens. The tacos were excellent, the toppings were fresh and the sauces added a lot - watch the one red sauce, it is really, really hot - still burning 10 minutes after you get in your car HOT! Would definitely order the tacos again, and they have 8 or so kinds. The burrito was a monster, and loaded - plenty of tasty carne asada, rice, beans, lettuce, sour cream, and even some radish. I would split open the top of the entire burrito, and mix everything well, because of the way it is put together. This was a very good item, and I'd order it again, and probably will. I do miss the chips and salsa, and the options of ordering side items. What we had was very good, but the choices are limited!

I have been making the…read morerounds and trying my best to check them all out because I love eating Mexican typically once a week but I haven't found one around here that's my absolute favorite and looks like this one is not it either. It was probably the biggest let down so far. I ordered a Big Taco to go and was surprised to see a 2$ upcharge for taking it to go. Don't they know this discourages people from ordering to go? This isn't a new concept to me so not a complete surprise but I was incredibly surprised by the way it was packaged. It was in an aluminum tin with foil partially covering my meal. So by the time it got to its designation it was leaking white liquid out of the bag. Kind of embarrassing to me. So I paid 2$ for subpar packaging? The taco itself was fine but not memorable. What was most telling about my meal was the completely inedible tortilla chips. They tasted like chemicals, which to me is a sign that the deep frier oil is bad (at least I hope that's what is wrong). I had a few other people try a chip and they all confirmed they were gross. No one took a second bite. If the oil is not being changed properly to the point you can taste it, and they don't care about properly packaging food, who knows what other gross things are happening in the their kitchen. I cannot chalk this up to a fluke and therefore will not be taking any chances by trying them again.

He said it had the perfect amount of heat with great flavor. I really enjoyed the grilled chicken burrito and their rice. Their chips were soooo good too! They were super thin and crispy. This place has something for everyone. Our server was a super nice young man. The restaurant is right on a train track and looks like it could have originally been a train station. We discussed this with the server but he wasn't sure. I'd definitely recommend checking this place out and I'm sorry I was too tired and hungry to take pictures of the inside and outside of the restaurant.
