I am new to Quesada. There's a location by my workplace that I frequented for the first time a few months back. That experience prompted me to download the app and sign up for the Salsa Starter Qlub. You earn points when you make purchases and redeem points towards food and more. It includes hot sauce! I haven't ordered anything from Quesada ever since. It doesn't help that Markham doesn't have a location. On Saturday, I was in Pickering taken in a movie. After it was over, I needed to fetch some dinner. I did a search for a Quesada and found this one in Ajax, ten minutes away from where I was. Perfect! I placed this order on the Quesada app: - Holy goalie classic burrito combo (comes with a drink) - Dorilocos with ground beef The app said that it would take ten minutes for my order to be ready. Perfect! It was a nice, leisurely drive over to this Quesada. It's in a plaza with an LCBO and a bunch of other eateries that piqued my interest. I parked and walked in. This eatery was doing steady business when I walked in. There are places to sit down and chow down. I headed to the counter. I interacted with a female staffer, who was cheerful and nice. I said that I had an order under my name. She nodded. She packed both my food items in a paper bag and carefully handed it to me. She reminded me that I had a drink and I could choose one from the fridge. I thanked her and headed over to fetch my drink. I loved the variety of beverages. I went with a bottle of guava Jarritos. I then headed to my car. I placed my food and drink in an insulated bag, and took highway 401 home, followed by backroads. I wish that this highway flowed so well all the time. When I got home, I had dinner. I was excited. The Dorilocos appealed to me. It's a snacky item featuring a bag of Doritos topped with either ground beef or beans, queso sauce, lettuce, and tomatoes. I went with ground beef. The bag was sealed and placed in a container with a fork. It was fun eating this snack out of the bag. It was delicious! I loved my holy goalie classic burrito. It was hefty! It was fun customizing my burrito: - Whole wheat wrap - Rice - Refried beans - Chipotle tomato sauce (mild) - Chipotle mayo - Cheese - Corn - Mexican street slaw - Pickled onions This burrito was packed with a ton of flavour. The ingredients tasted fresh. The wrapper was solid. It was nicely grilled and still hot. So good! The Jarritos cap does not twist off. I used a bottle opener to pop the cap off. The guava Jarritos was delicious and cold. It was the perfect drink to wash down my meal. I had a wonderful experience here. I'd return for more good eats and drinks. (186)

We had three vegan bowls - a Veggie Soy Crumble (ground) and two Cauliflower Bites one made extra spicy and one regular. The bowls were generously topped and the beans, rice, protein were flavoured well. The sauces added a good dimension to the food. The Corn and Bean Salsa and the Mango Salsa were really good. The Habanero and the Chilli Maple sauces were outstanding. Specially the Habanero. Thanks for letting us know Cilantro Lime contains honey. Wish there was dairy free cheeze available as well. Guacamole was included (yay!) If we are in Pickering, definitely stopping by again here.

We ordered x3 fish tacos, x3 beef tacos, and chicken nachos. It was a nice change to have meat added to nachos without any additional cost. Were they the best nachos and tacos I've ever had? No, but this place does have potential. The chicken on the nachos was shaved from a spit and was beautifully seasoned. Next time I try this place I will go for the shawarma instead! The man we ordered from asked us if we wanted to omit any toppings. The beef tacos were pretty spicy - which we like, but if you can't handle spice, tell them when you're ordering. I preferred the fish tacos over the beef. The nachos were good enough and had lots of cheese and a good topping-to-chip ratio. Give this place a try!

My best friend and I wanted to celebrate our birthdays together, as we have been doing every year for eons. It ended up being in August this year. I did a search and found Los Cabos Cantina & Grill. I liked what I saw and sent her a link to the vegan menu. She was down going here. We came here after waiting for the thunderstorms to die and a good afternoon of retail shopping therapy. We drove over here in our vehicles. I actually missed the right turn into the parking lot. I did quite the 360-degree turn into the parking lot to fix my boo-boo. I nabbed the closest spot to the back of the eatery. My friend was parked further back. We grabbed our birthday presents and walked in. The patio with floral accents looked lovely to enjoy a dining experience when we aren't under an orange alert for hail and thunderstorms! We were promptly greeted by a young woman. She said that there was only bar seating. It was fine. We got a cozy corner table. I got booth seating. I'm 5'10" and my feet did not touch the ground. My friend is a bit shorter than I am, so I'm glad that we sat where we were. Anthony was our server. He was exceptionally attentive and answered all questions that we had about our drinks and food. My friend got these items: - Water - Pina colada mocktail - Vegan ensenada enchilada The pina colada mocktail is vegan. She loved it. It looked yummy and festive. The downside was that a female staffer, maybe the manager, came over and said that there was no vegan cheese. It was a downer. It was 5:30 pm on a Saturday night. As an eatery with a vegan menu with cheese in many dishes, wouldn't you have stocked up and planned a lot better? She stood there with a smug expression on her face. Okay, so there aren't any alternatives? It felt awkward. Anthony jumped in. He said that he would bring more vegan sour cream. That was better, although my friend would have wanted the vegan cheese. It's the only reason for taking a star off my rating. No vegan cheese for a vegan menu with items containing cheese is sad. My friend asked me if I read Yelp reviews before I visit a place. I typically don't. However, after not having any vegan cheese, I read them. We are probably the only folks who have experienced this issue, as Yelpers haven't experienced a shortage of it. Anyway, she loved her vegan enchilada plate despite not getting any vegan cheese. It looked amazing. She was stuffed and said that it was yummy. I ordered these items: - Diet Pepsi - Big D's burrito platter with shredded chicken I was thankful that I didn't have a large lunch and that we didn't order appetizers. The burrito was massive. It looked like a log in front of me, with rice, refried beans, and cheese, all bundled in a flour tortilla. My friend asked if the log had cheese on top. It was ancho mayo, which provided a smoky, tangy taste to each burrito bite that I had. It was delicious. The shredded chicken was tender. Everything in the burrito was perfect. It took me a long time to finish it. This platter had refried beans, rice, and salsa. I felt like I got twice the amount of refried beans and rice in this dish. It was extremely filling and flavourful. My friend asked me how many Diet Pepsi drinks I got. I kind of lost track. Shopping makes me thirsty. I also needed to down this massive burrito with a beverage or many. I think I had four drinks. It may be a record. Each one was cold, fizzy, and the perfect amount of syrup. We opened our presents. It was nice doing it in a quiet, practically private corner. It was the perfect place to celebrate us and catch up. My friend using the washroom first shortly after we had sat down. I went towards the end of our meal. The women's washroom is by a small wall smack between the dining and bar areas. It's a single stall. Clean. No complaints. Anthony was great. He always made sure we were good. We paid at the table. He brought dual payment machines. Nice! We talked about my friend's plans to go camping. It led to talking about seeing bears and moose. I have seen both, but on road trips in Manitoba and Ontario. Despite the vegan shortage, we had a fabulous time. The food was delicious and fabulous. Our server was excellent. (346)
