Inside restaurant - limited spaces for larger parties. Relaxed atmosphere good for small meet ups.

If you get the traditional tacos, decently priced. Favorite was definitely the pescado (recommend the fried fish dirty style) since it comes with a special sauce and cheese. The tacos were pretty meaty. It would be challenging to have a large group seated all together but for informal quick bites it's a great local choice. I added verde sauce to everything. Many of the salsas were very mild. Would definitely come back to grab drinks with some friends.

As usual, needed to try a margarita! I will say that I wanted to take one star off regarding the mango mix, which was a bit thicker for my liking, the chaotic wait for Food, and the prices are just a little too high for me. However, that has not, and will not deter me from eating here! Everything we ordered was delicious! I am not a huge fries girly however my husband is and we got it... And it was very flavor forward! I wanted to try the quesadilla and let me tell you... It was delicious! I could eat four orders of those lol this is a fun place to stop and grab a quick bite if you are wanting something casual for dinner. Because of the toppings and how they make it, I would not bother trying to bring it home.

These tacos were some of the best I've had! I was really impressed by the flavor. I got the Urban Camarón, Dirty Style Camarón, Dirty Style Crispy Pescado, and a Chocolate Chip Churro Crunch Cookie. I'm not sure which was my favorite taco because they were all so good- but I definitely liked the dirty style. My food was ready within 10 minutes. I did pickup so I didn't spend much time inside, but it looked clean and spacious. I will be back later this week for sure!

I heard a lot of hype about taco Bamba and had to check it out .Boy was I disappointed. We ordered the brisket mac & cheese, enchilada, three tacos: , beef, brisket, and chicken and chips and queso. The meat is not edible. It was so fatty. The brisket was awful grizzle. There was too much sauce on the enchilada and the small tacos were just poor quality meat. The chips were stale. I had to ask for a second bag. The second bag was stale, so the manager somewhere went in the back and brought out a fresh bag of chips. They stale chips were soft w oils covering the brown paper bag that sat under the counter near the front probably for hours. The queso was very spicy. Now positive aspect are easy parking, indoor seating and a fun salsa bar. definitely do not have to go back and would a Manager contacted me for constructive feedback. there are far better places nearby to spend $34 on a small portion of food.

Great tacos and nice selection of sauces. Traditional Tacos are very reasonably priced. I was too late for free coffee which ends at 2:00. Great service. Nice staff. My husband said the men's needs work. Otherwise, we enjoyed the food and our time there. Also, fairly busy with families all enjoying their tacos.

Tuesday 1/7/2025 I've known about this spot for a minute, but I finally decided to try it today. I made a takeout order via website and got the bacon-egg-cheese empanada $4, carne asada taco $4, barbacoa taco $4, torta bamba $19, and the birria quesadilla. - When it comes to the empanada, it was solid and the sauce was good, but there wasn't enough bacon in it, especially for the $4 price tag you pay. - The carne asada was solid, and better than the barbacoa, but I've had better. - The barbacoa taco was disappointing and below average, as the taste and flavor were not there. - The torta bamba was MASSIVE, but I should've known that it would've been too much going on as the wide array of different tastes and flavors wasn't very enjoyable for me. - The birria quesadilla was decent and the most enjoyable item I had. - Also, the taco sauces are all solid, with the green sauce being my favorite. All in all, Taco Bamba is an okay spot for Mexican food & tacos, but I wouldn't come back.

I am fanatical about this place. My first Taco Bamba experience was in Vienna, and I've been to most of their other locations now. When this one opened in Gaithersburg, it became the closest location to where I am and I went pretty much immediately. I've been back any number of times now; it's a thirty minute drive for me so I can't go all the time but if it was closer, I would. The price is about right for what you're getting. The ambiance is just okay, it's not stellar but it's not trying to be. Unpretentious, a little loud. You're here to eat, not to have a laidback conversation-heavy dining experience. THE TACOS. The traditional tacos are good, but the special tacos are where they really shine in my opinion. Standout recommendations at this location are the birria taco "dirty style", the Ma Cho, and the McLovin It. The salsa bar is also excellent, I love the focus on tomatillos in a lot of the salsas. Two for a smaller appetite or three for a bigger stomach is about right. I just love this place.

Love Taco Bamba and the different varieties of tacos they sell. We got their name sake tacos and also Al pastor. The Taco Bamba tacos are solid but a lil too oily and spicy for me. I enjoyed the Al pastor (not pictured) more since it was sweeter and the flavor was great. My pickup was ready in 15 mins and there's plenty of parking outside. The inside is nicely decorated too. Glad to have gotten take out from here.

Taco Bamba has many options including vegetarian options for you VegHeads! I ordered the Spicy Shroom, Sweet Poutine tacos, Birria and the Rice & Beans. The tacos had a great mixed of stuff inside however there was virtually no flavor. I had to add some sauce to give it flavor which I found interesting. Ilthe Rice & Beans side had the most flavoring! I'll certainly try Taco Bamba again in the future.

Came back for happy hour! $5 margs and $5 select foods, got the Jeffrey which is an extra long spring roll but meat filled. Got the carne asada tacos too, two are definitely enough to fill me up along with the street corn, which is one of the best things on the menu. The margarita was just ok, the dried lime definitely elevated the drink. Would I drive two hours again for happy hour? Probably not. But would definitely stop by again for carne asada tacos and the street corn!

Love the salsa bar -- the salsas taste fresh and there's something for everyone. If you aren't vegetarian the chicken is tasty and the chicken burrito is a safe, decent choice. Overall Negatives: This is not a great place if you are vegetarian. I know they have veg items but they don't get the same attention to flavor and quality that the non-vegetarian items get. That's why my husband rated his chicken burrito higher than I rated my veggie tacos. We had more misses than hits here. Chicken burrito: minimal beans, lots of rice and pulled chicken that both had great flavor. A marginal hit, just really needed some texture because a tortilla filled with just chicken isn't a great burrito. Its's a "just fine" burrito. Veggie tacos: barely any beans or rice. Mostly big chucks of avocado (weird to not dice it) and sliced tomato and onion (again weird -- just dice it). All topped with a dairy bomb of sour cream and queso fresco that caused the whole taco to lose its structural Integrity. Desperately needed lots of salsa for flavor because nothing else had any. The thing is, you can make rice flavorful. You can make beans with flair and fun and taste. They just don't here. Disappointing miss. Nachos: good chips, good cheesy sauce. Barely any beans again and the big slices of avocado, onion, and tomato (about the size you see on a burger) made it difficult to eat anything but the chips and cheese sauce. Not "nachos" and definitely not a hit for us. Unfortunately this just wasn't for us. It's great to have stuff on your menu that accommodates different types of diners but it's important to actually show the "other" food equal attention to quality and flavor.

I've been coming here for years, and it's one of those places that never disappoints. The food is consistently delicious, the atmosphere is lively, and you always know you're going to leave happy. I'm originally from Honduras, and one of our staple dishes... arguably THE staple dish... is the baleada. A fresh flour tortilla filled with refried beans, cheese, and crema, with the option to add extras like eggs, avocado, or different meats. I knew this had to be where Kyler experienced his very first baleada. To say it was a success would be an understatement. Kyler isn't the most adventurous eater, so getting his stamp of approval is a pretty big deal. He's officially a fan for life! We were there with my mom, and all three of us ordered some variation of a baleada along with pupusas to share. I also had to introduce Kyler to our version of horchata, which is different from the Mexican horchata he was used to. As an added bonus, we happened to visit during the World Cup, and the energy in the restaurant made the experience even more fun. Between the familiar flavors, sharing a piece of my culture with someone I love, and the consistently great food, this meal ended up being one of the highlights of our trip back to Maryland. If you've never had a baleada before, let La Casita be your introduction. You won't regret it.
