Well, we definitely stood out, but we felt welcomed and comfortable. Sunday morning football and some drinks; we found out crowd. LOL I needed to charge my car, and they were located right across the street so it was out of luck and connivence that we found this spot. There are multiple TV's that line the bar top and seating area - they basically had every game on and even changed the channels for the games we wanted. The bartender was very attentive! She was the only one on the clock and worked the entire bar stop and our table of 5. We got beers, and some food. My aunt enjoyed the tuna melt and the soup of the day (Italian sausage) Overall, we had a really good time. Our bar top table and chairs were clean, bar was clean. staff was really attentive and welcoming. and most importantly ... drinks were COLD

Unfortunately, that doesn't make up for the very subpar food. The lunch menu is limited and mediocre our group had a tough time picking because there just weren't many appealing options. We started with appetizers: chicken wings and onion rings. The wings were EXTREMELY salty, and the onion rings were Burger King-level at best edible, but nothing to brag about. For my meal, I ordered the chicken Philly with mayo. No one likes a dry sandwich, but that's exactly what I got. The chicken was overcooked, making the sandwich almost inedible. The fries were even worse undercooked, unseasoned, and half-frozen in the middle. Adding salt after the fact didn't help. Overall, 8/10 would NOT recommend for the food.

I came to Mezzo for dinner…read more I left spiritually changed. First of all -- Cheryll behind the bar? Protect her at all costs. The mint mojito she made me wasn't a drink... it was a religious experience. I don't know what she put in it (mint? magic? a degree in mixology from Hogwarts?) but I considered texting my ex just to tell her I've finally found happiness. Now let's talk about the Sol Fish. I ordered it like a normal person. I did NOT expect to sit there in silence after the first bite, staring at the wall, re-evaluating my life choices. Perfectly cooked. Light, flavorful, disrespectfully good. I almost asked for a moment alone with it. At one point I considered clapping. In public. Like people do when the plane lands. Mezzo, you did your thing. Cheryll, you are a national treasure. I will absolutely be back. 10/10. Would let this meal ruin all other mojitos for me again.

Multiple staff came to greet us and tend to us during the evening. Bread was tasty and crab cakes were crispy on the outside. I had never had an aperol spritz drink but was pleasantly surprised and I hope future aperol spritz's I try will be as good as this one. Rigatoni bolognese was delicious. The pistachio cannoli was the best of all the items I tried and especially unique - a must try if you come! The restaurant itself is a beautiful place to dine - very elegant. A must try if in the Stockton :)
