What a lovely place! I've never been to a tea farm so this was truly an amazing experience. Learning their process of how they make tea and just learning abt tea in general. Learned some new things. They had free samples of their sweet and unsweet teas and the sweet tea was amazing! I bought some of their chai tea to take home and so can't wait to try. The wife was our tour guide and she was so interesting, knew so much and was all around a very sweet lady. They do a small farmers market on Sundays so can get some greasy produce before or after your tour. Highly recommend this place.

If you are in the area, this a a fun way to spend the afternoon. The tour was free, fun and educational. The day we went they even had a farmers market going on.

We stopped in the shop and purchased both the chai tea and the apricot tea.

I don't remember current administration specific names, but you do get the feel for which side of the isle they are on. If you love that, or are indifferent, or like me curious about what they offer to eat and drink - stop here!! The service was great, super friendly, and prompt. They have a drive through, parking is around back, but you do have to walk around outside to order. There is no inside seating or access other than in your car in the drive thru. Nice sitting area outside in nice weather. I got a frozen Carmel mocha which was delicious and huge! The breakfast sandwiches though!! Ya'll!! These are not the typical microwaved frozen premade sandwiches!! Choose your bread. They cook the eggs. The cheese is the cheese you have at home. These are real deal former firehouse made grilled sandwiches!! Did I mention it's in the old firehouse?? The drive thru used to have a fire truck in it. Love it. I'll be back to sample lunch! They're set a high bar from themselves!!

I've been to the Southern Fuel in Boiling Springs and received great customer service, I had no doubts this one would be the same. Great menu options, they have food (mostly bagel type eats), plenty of coffee flavors, non-coffee drinks, etc. I had to ask for their seasonal menu. I believe they just opened this week (02/01/24) so still probably working out the kinks. Pro tip- look up their menu online before you go for more options. Most of their drinks sound sweeter than they are. I ask for a little less sweet just in case. I had a hot "nutty leprechaun" latte which was pretty good (pistachio and brown sugar). I was a little bummed it wasn't topped with crushed pistachios like the online menu said but the staff was also not familiar with the seasonal items. The latte was more like a cappuccino, lots of thick foam. Also a little bummed. Oh well next time. Very reasonably priced and I enjoyed the coffee. Not sure of their everyday hours but I know they are open on SUNDAYS starting at 12 PM. The Silos have been good to us and they just keep getting better. Parking can be scarce if you go at busy times but I've never had an issue. Will be back for more coffee! And pupp-ucinos!

Not like the typical artificial banana flavoring you'd find in a candy. It was sweetened just enough and topped with little vanilla wafer pieces. We were only inside for a short period of time, but this was a really cute place with comfy seating and a calm, quiet vibe. Staff were friendly and efficient. The only thing that could have made my drink better would have been more ice, but then I would have less of my delicious beverage, so I can't really complain.

We arrived at around 7:15 am and were greeted by two regulars hanging out front with their dogs, which meant that Mrs. K. got her morning dog fix before we even made it inside. That set a great tone for a good day. The welcome inside was warm in the small town way that feels genuine instead of forced, just easy smiles and a quick hello as I ordered. It was rather quiet when we arrived but the folks seemed to start pouring in as we sipped our coffees. My cortado was excellent even if it was in a paper cup. Mrs. K. was happy with her latte which is the proper test. We lingered a bit, enjoying the quiet and watching Black Mountain wake up around us before getting back on the road. A great little stop just off I-40 and a perfect start for the day. Five stars! [Review 540 of 2026 - 4635 in North Carolina - 25722 overall]
