A must see if you want a free beautiful view of Niagara Falls! I came here in May and it was a bit on the chilly side, with possible rain the forecast so I came prepared with ski hat, gloves, scarf and sunglasses because you can definitely get wet walking near the Horseshoe Falls! I took the WEGO blue line bus to get to Table Rock and from there I saw the beautiful tulips while walking towards the falls! From there it was misty misty misty and wet! I could barely see where I was going with the heavy mist coming down near Horseshoe Falls and especially when I got to Table Rock Welcome Center, I didn't think to go inside and keep warm with a bite to eat or drink! I just wanted to keep moving to keep warm! So I walked from Table Rock all the way down to the end where they had the ziplining. It was a nice walk and I took alot of videos and photos with the falls. Definitely try to spend at least a couple of hours here. read more

Food was pretty good (small portions) but we were really there for the view of the fireworks. We were hungry at the end of an evening of walking up to Rinboso it served the purpose of sitting for a bit to watch the show (it was only five minutes). Sit by the small tables to the north side for the best view of fireworks. read more

This was such a great. Made a reservation way ahead of time and they got us in early. Our table was perfection and the view was gorgeous. Service was impeccable. It's pricey but worth it as a treat. read more

THE BEST and closest place to view the top of Horseshoe Falls: the largest one of the three falls that comprise Niagara Falls. There's a welcome center with an informational booth where you can buy tickets to the many tours and attractions at Niagara Falls. There's also eateries and washrooms located inside. It can get pretty crowded; but if you have a little bit of patience, you'll be able to score a prime spot to take your photo. TIP: There is a elevated platform that's not too crowded where you can take an unimpeded panoramic picture with all three of the Niagara Falls (Horseshoe, American and Bridal Veil) as your backdrop. The Wego bus terminal is located there; but if want to hoof it, the Floral Showhouse and a number of historical buildings are only a short walking distance away. Don't take for granted that Niagara Falls is in your backyard, stop by and soak in (literally and figuratively) it's awesomeness. PS The view is free! read more

This place has a fantastic view of Horse shoe falls. The food was pretty good- ordered the Duck and it was fantastic, the order consisted of one drumstick which was nicely prepared and I recommend it. Also had the Falafel which consisted of a few small falafel balls in a ratatouille type bowl of stewed veggies with pistachio nuts. The falafel was kinda dried out, but the veggies were good, don't think I would order this again. Had a slice of carrot cake for desert, tasted more like a Ginger bread type of snack than carrot cake-, and the texture was strange too. I would suggest something different for desert. Gave this place 4 stars, but some one of those is for the great view of the falls, I mean , thats why I wanted to eat here anyway. read more

There are tons of shops and food places in this building. Lots of choices for anything you could want. We grabbed coffee and some snacks from Tim Hortons and shopped around the gift stores for little items. This is my 3rd trip to the Falls but the first time I had actually come in here and it was a nice experience. There's also a great view of the Falls from here as well. read more

This is definitely a great place to get information and view the falls. There are nice views both inside from the second floor, as well as outside. There are souvenir shops and places to grab a bite to eat, as well as a little trolley that will take you back up to the hotel area for a few bucks. Easy choice for a free stop...it's up to you how much you want to spend on other stuff. read more

April is thr time to visit. Cool out. Kids still in school. Not crowed. Easy to get anywhere. Lots of space. The views are amazing whether you stay inside or walk the outside. Lots of shops available. And good information for tours they offer. read more

Stopped here for a little look see on the way home from Toronto. Been to the falls before a bunch of times on both sides and in the middle but never been 'here'. We could have just walked down from the hotel for free, or rode the funiculum for a modest fee, instead I paid handsomely for the privilege of parking kinda far away (but we got a complementary tram ride to the gate from Bob, as pleasant a fellow as I'd met this trip.) The welcome center is a remarkable place with some of the best views of the falls, and without surcharge, and you don't get quite so wet as when going downstairs. Inside there's foods, souvenirs, tours, and adventure to be had if you're willing to part with some cash. Trash doesn't pick itself up, sidewalks and buildings need kept as well, so too the greenery. Give somebody a job and help keep the falls beautiful for the next guy, have a snack and buy some tchotchke :-) read more

Came to check out the falls after flying in for business. Decided to have a couple beers here while we waited for dark to see the falls lit up. Had the beer flight with great local beers and the duck appetizer. Really good and will definitely so in again next time I'm there. read more

This was my first time at this dump. It started with the entrance and the lady who received us. So rude. Forget customer service, the girls and especially the blonde girl should learn some manners. We sat down after waiting outside for a bit. Didn't have any problems with waiting as it's their policy to open at 5. We politely asked for a table with falls view but the blonde girl showed so much attitude and said that those tables were reserved. Although when we had asked for a reservation while we waited, they said seating was first come first serve. However, things got worse. Amateur hour! The salmon was soggy and dry and the rib eye was cold. The crime brûlée tasted like soggy pudding. Oh yes we had to wait for 20 minutes for forks too! I don't want to point out to a single person or anyone here. This place is a result of just pure customer apathy. You opened up a good business selling garbage food with garbage staff. Avoid the Table Rock Grill restaurant. Crowded and dirty tables and they don't really care to keep the place clean. I had the peach and avocado chicken wrap, but it had no avocado, but had bacon in it. Looks like a place that does not know what they are doing. Great location and views! Table Rock welcome center is located right next to the Canadian Horseshoe Falls and has a good view of American Falls as well.. You can buy tickets and Adventure passes here (as well as a several ticket booths along the river.) There are a couple of restaurants and gift shops.The 4D movie and the Tunnel under the falls with observation deck are located here. The falls view is spectacular and there are a few picnic tables. Although it is extremely crowded a little patience and you will be leaning against the wall right next to the falls. The main WEGO bus stop is here or you can walk along the promenade sidewalk and follow the river taking pictures, enjoying the mist and watching Hornblower/Maid of the Mist boats brave the deluge to get near the falls. You cannot find a better view of the falls without reserving a very expensive hotel room or taking a helicopter ride. Table Rock is a remarkable location with a great view of Horseshoe Falls, American Falls and Bridel Veil as well as Rainbow Bridge. The view is truly unbeatable. The overpriced location of everything that empitomizes tourism at the Falls. Lots of crowded shops to look at things you can find for cheaper on Fallsview. There's an overpass to an expensive parking lot. Great way to make money off of people who don't know the area. This place would be a 1 except for location location location. Ugh, It is depressing to cross the border and find Canadians seem to care as much about the environment as Americans. There are NO recycling bins and NO water fountains at this place (Yes, no water fountains. Not even in the bathrooms. At Niagara Falls!). The food court/truck stop type food establishment certainly generates a lot of trash; the bins were overflowing with plastic. Way to celebrate nature. read more

April 27, 2011, after walking some distance along the Niagara River, we decided to stop at Table Rock restaurant for water and a light lunch. We were seated at a table ideal for enjoying the Horseshoe Falls. After delivering water from the nearby wait station, the waitress took our order. Since we already had a big supper arranged for the evening, we both ordered soup. The waitress said "Is that ALL you're having?" with a TON of attitude. The soup was $7.95 for a small bowl. OK, fine, no comment from us. Being thirsty from walking, I gulped down the glass of water and tried to catch her eye for a refill... And tried... And tried for Any waitress in the area. Finally, with the three waitresses chatting at the nearby station I pushed my glass to the very edge of the table. Hint, Hint! Nada Figured I'll just have to wait to get water elsewhere. She brought our check and I put down a credit card to pay. They were snatched up, Literally, in seconds! I wanted to advise the hostess of her less-than-hospitable attitude, but she was busy and we just left. My Lady always ... ALWAYS generously tips! But not that time, a first. read more
