I am so glad we switched to Table Mountain! We've been getting the runaround from our previous vet (Golden Animal Hospital) for *over* 4 years. We were growing tired of treating *symptoms* for our German Shepherd's allergies rather than the *cause*. What our previous vet couldn't figure out in 4 years, these vets were able to give us answers in 30 mins. They aren't interested in stringing us along for another hefty bill, they genuinely care and want our dog to feel/get better. The staff is amazingly friendly, prompt on appointments- I love that we can schedule online! ((I hated calling our old vet because the older woman who would answer was just a witch to talk to or get a message through to)). I'm so glad we are apart of Table Mountain Vet! read more

Stay away. I was billed twice for a radiologist review that came back inconclusive. I called many times and even came in in person to try to get an answer as to why I was billed twice. I was repeatedly told someone would call me back and no one ever did. My dog passed away from her illness, and every other vet I visited as part of this ordeal sent a condolence card. They told me to call to fix the issue-I have called and left multiple messages for the manager to return and still have heard nothing. Our 8 year old pup went in for bloody diarrhea and after $2,000 and 3 days later, still could not tell us what was wrong. "Probably just a stomach virus." 2 months later, she passed away very suddenly during the night. Absolutely no signs the night before. We called first thing in the morning to ask for advice because we had no idea what to do. The on-call tech said we could bring her in to be examined by our vet once she was back in. She said to notify the front desk when we arrive and someone will help us carry/roll her into the clinic. We wrapped her up and I left her in the car with my husband while I went inside, visibly shaking and crying for suddenly losing my child, the front desk staff asks me why I am there and I notify them that our name and that our puppy passed away. Their response was "oh you're better off bringing her straight to the crematorium, it will save you money!" First of all- this is how you speak to someone who just traumatically experienced the death of her dog? And then on top of it- no communication from the on-call person to the reception staff. You couldn't notify them we were coming with our deceased pup? No empathy. Horrible advice. Received a call from the vet a few days later saying she wished she could have examined her. I blame the lack of communication between the on-call tech and the front desk staff. A whopping 2 brain cells. We will never come back. read more

I could not be more disappointed with this Vet!! After several bad encounters with front desk people, long waits on the phone and in the office. Lack of follow up from the Vet and a surgery estimate that did not include anesthesia. I wrote a poor review only about the wait times and un friendly front desk. Dr Valori called me 2 days later and fired me as a customer asking me to go to another vet. My dog has cancer and needs meds. The vets in the area are booking 3 weeks out, putting my dogs life at risk. I have never experience being asked to leave a practice, especially for the amount of money I have given them over the past 8 years. Only stayed here because most vets are all the same and figured the grass would not be greener. Well it can't be worse! Do not give them your business. We came an hour late for our first appointment ever (scheduled the morning of) on Friday before Labor Day and the clinic still accommodated us. They were very busy. Our dog had hurt herself badly and so we needed her seen right away. Dr. Donna Valori was great -- extremely knowledgable and helpful, and gave us several suggestions for veterinary surgeons. The staff was very busy, but helpful and warm. My dog is very afraid of the vet and she seemed to have a good experience in spite of things. read more

I had an emergency with my boxer who was pregnant and wasn't passing the puppies I called at least 10 other vets none of which would take my dog in without a large sum of money up front. When I called Table Mountain and explain the situation they were very understanding and told me to bring her right in. They performed an emergency c-section and delivered my boxers babies they also called and explained everything that was happening I did have my boxer fixed at that time as well. The next day mom and puppies came home and Table Mountain has called and checked on me since they are wonderful caring amazing people. Dr. Krystal Robinson has always treated my cat, Viserys, like her own. I'm completely confused why people are claiming this vet is expensive. My cat wasn't eating for two days and they let me bring her in immediately, they saw her right away, asked for my opinion and okay to perform any tests (which I have been to places where they run it and then later you see the bill absolutely confused), they had to keep her overnight, they did multiple xrays, and even a couple procedures. (Enema's x 2, and a tooth pulling) . The total cost was around $150. You simply cannot beat that. If it was 150,000 my cat is worth it to me. I do have to admit there are some vet tech that wouldn't hurt them as a business to replace, but just bc they have old school attitudes, does not mean they don't care for your animals. I highly recommend this Vet, and more importantly Krystal Robinson. Thank you!!! read more

Medical Offices can be a tricky review, sometimes you're so bad off that not even an ice cream cone could make it a positive experience. I try to look at it from the Pups perspective like I was walking in to my Dr. Checkin was easy, once we were able to get over that we didn't arrive at a hiking trail or lake, and we waited a very minimal time before we got to the room. We saw Dr Brewster on this visit and she was very informative, answered all my questions and helped make the best decision as far as vaccination and allergy/itching treatments. Everything went smoothly; which was more a testament to the Pup and Dr. Checkout was speedy and without issue. I can say without question, I would have no hesitation recommending the office or continuing coming here for checkups and the like. read more

Initial contact - their Ad got my attention 2 hrs later - curious consumer - following 5 hrs later - annoyed but following 12 hrs later - downright offended 24 hrs later - serious ethical concerns When I responded to their recent Ad, this business refused to answer any questions I had about the service on offer. They then proceeded to REMOVE ME from their group. I thought it was a system glitch. It wasn't. I was deleted and blocked from further replies. Who does that?! They solicited my interaction with their business. My time. My money. I was asking for more info about a service discount they had JUST ADVERTIZED. Did I ask something wrong? I want to know about the risks and benefits of their declawing procedure. There is a lot of confusion and conflict about this on the internet. I want to know how any potential provider -especially a licensed caregiver -came to offer and promote this particular service. It's my RESPONSIBILITY as my fur-babies' mom to be informed so I can make good decisions for them. I wish I could say I was always this conscientious. It's hard. It takes TIME. But It's a skill I am trying to grow. The more I learn, the more regrets I have. This particular service - declawing - is something I have considered more than a few times over the years, but for one reason or another, just didn't get around to it. Every time this topic comes up I grow more concerned and more confused. The internet is divided about this and so are the pet parents I know. I'm not an activist but any stretch. In fact, I'm a stressed out, tired, single working Mom. I love my babies deeply (both fur- & human) and I am determined to do my very best for them. Single mom. Stressed. Not enough time. Not enough sleep. Not enough money. Big huge love for my babies. Adulting, yes. But I love a good deal and long for quick fix life hacks just like everyone else. But I want to know facts. I need straight answers. Is that too much to ask from someone who - in this case at least - is required by law to know the facts. Required by law to EDUCATE PEOPLE LIKE ME about it before recommending or agreeing to perform the service. In the end, I suppose I did get a response from this business. Their passive-aggressive silence, active avoidance, not to mention time and efforts to put me on "mute" in their FB community speaks volumes. Who in their right mind would entrust the well-being of their beloved babies to a business who operates like this? read more

Yeah, yeah, how many vets do I have, I know, I know. Just a couple more. This is the vet who sees my Large Hairy Black Cat and my Fat Allergic Dog for routine care. A former barn acquaintance, Tina, is a vet tech here- she's a very smart lady and always takes great care of her clients. The vets are very nice as well. I have never felt talked down to, and they are happy to go into the kinds of detail that I want when it comes to my pets' welfare- levels of detail I'm sure take more time than they plan on spending with a single patient. I had Fat Allergic Dog's blood tests done here. Results: Fat Allergic Dog is allergic to darn near everything on God's green Earth. The clinic was able to produce injections for Fat Allergic Dog that should cause his environmental allergies to subside, and improve his health when combined with a restricted diet that addresses his food allergies. The regimen is so far working, and hopefully he will not have to take steroids next spring like he did this spring and the last. Star Five was left standing in the lobby confused as to why an otherwise good vet would sell lousy Science Diet products. read more

Won't be back.....horrible follow up.! It's as if the front office staff could care less. I took my dog to get neutered few weeks ago. The office staff were horrible and very uncaring. Had to keep calling to ask about the status of my dog. And EACH time I was told.....we'll call you back.....but they never did. Finally had to call near the end of the day and the front desk person had the nerve to say "you need to come pick up your dog bc we're about to close for the day". Again.....had been calling all day long with never a call back. When we picked him up.....there was another client there picking up her cat that had the same experience. The vet NEVER called us back and the front office NEVER called us to give us an update. Won't be going back there again. read more

Dr.Valori is great. Make sure you buy a cone ahead of time for your dog if they have surgery! Our dog had surgery there recently and they said they were out of cones? Luckily we had a spare one at home otherwise we would've had to add 30 bucks to our day on top of the money we already spent on surgery and go to petsmart. I love these guys. Dr. Morton loves my Min-Pin. They're always prompt when I need something faxed. They're really good about fitting me in when I have an emergency, even though it's usually not with my regular vet, but that's okay because they keep good records that any vet there can understand! So no matter who is checking out my pup, I feel like they've been her personal vet all along. When my pup needed minor surgery, the vet took her back, did his business, wrapped her up, and then returned her to me pretty quickly. He even commented on how well she had behaved - which is rare because she's pretty rambunctious. Every time they help me out, I'm so thankful. And it's only $35 for an office visit, and they're not the type to rob you blind when really you didn't need anything anyway. Yay for honesty! read more

Then when my older pug was in really bad shape from a different vet and I thought I was losing him. They have gotten him healthy and always kept it as affordable as possible. My dog developed a large lump on her shoulder out of the blue, so I took her into see Dr. Brewster. She poked the lump with a needle and immediately insisted that it was a "Blood blister" and to put a heat pack on it until it goes away. Flash forward 1 month, I took my dog to another vet because something didn't sit right with me. It turns out this lump was an extremely infected cyst, and there isn't really even such thing as a "blood blister", she just probably hit the wrong spot of the lump and never looked at the blood under the microscope to determine that the mass was insanely infected. I was livid that my dog had been in pain this long with such a severe mass that could've been treated long ago, had we gotten the correct veterinary care. read more

Dr. Valori and Dr. Blum are the vets I see most often, but I think I've seen every vet here at some point over the past 5 years and I've never been disappointed. They really seem to care about our animals, if there's an emergency they make sure to fit me in no matter how busy they are, and their communication is superb -- how many vets call you at 8pm on a Saturday night to update you on your pet's condition when he's being kept for a couple of days? I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else :) read more
