We had a server and he brought us everything we ordered freshly prepared from the kitchen. You could order as much as you wanted. We wanted to try everything and even requested smaller portions since it was just two of us. Their folded eggs with cheese were magical. Not sure what their secret was! The ham was delicious! Sat for ten minutes before a waiter approached. Then, made the mistake of not knowing it was a set brunch for $22.50 after we ordered coffee. I am gluten free, my friend dairy free so very little options, and four times when we did try to order something, we were told they were out, including dessert. Waiter was young and inexperienced and completely unsympathetic to our dietary needs. Overheard a couple on their way out saying how this place has gone downhill over the past few years. Brunch at Table Mesa was very good. We enjoyed the french toast, and chilequeles the most, but the butternut squash enchilada was also very good. I love the way they do their brunch. You can almost taste everything. You can share family style if you would like. That's what we did! I highly recommend! read more

I stopped in for lunch a few days ago. We were told there would be a 20 minute wait even though the restaraunt only seemed half full. I get staffing issues, so I didn't complain and put my name int. I really only had to wait about 10 minutes. Once we were seated it did take a long time for a server to come up to us. When he did, we informed him we were ready to order everything, but he said we could only put in drinks becuase there were other tables ahead of us that still needed to order food. I thought this was a little strange as well, but decided to be flexible. My margarita was yummy if a bit on the sweet side - I could only drink one. Food was great. I started with the dipping duo and loved both. The cheese was sweeter than I'm used to for queso, but I still really liked it. I got the squash enchilada and thought it was ok. Not really my thing, but I like trying things that are different. My husband ordered the Chillie Relleno with brisket and it was amazing. So good. I'm still dreaming about it. My daughter had the pork tacos and the meat was so tender and juicy. Overall a good experience. I would try again for sure. read more

We hadn't been to Bentonville in about a year and were surprised when we called and were told we wouldn't need reservations on a Saturday night. It's clear now the reason, service and food quality have dropped. Coconut Rice was dry and bland, no Coconut flavor at all. Mexican rice was dried out. "Brisket" tacos would have rated a 4 if they were on the menu as shredded beef, because it sure wasn't a Brisket taco. Black beans from a can were heated up and had no flavor. read more

We came in for Sunday brunch after calling ahead to make a reservation. We were told there wasn't a wait so to come on in. Upon arrival we were told it was a 15-20 min wait by the hostess; which wasn't a big deal, but when I noticed 30 min later person after person was being seated before us I asked how much longer. The manager, Juan, stated it would be another 30-45 min. I told him we the situation where we had already been waiting and the time we were quoted. He shrugged and said the wait would still be just as long because they didn't have 2 tables to push together to accommodate our 5 people (2 of which were babies in carriers literally waiting on the lobby floor while so many other groups just as large were being seated around us.) We had a great lunch! The menu is extensive, and offers lots of options for different palates. We had a quesadilla with chicken and onions and peppers and lots of cheese. It was delicious and the sides of rice and black beans for a perfect complement. The other half of my party had the carnitas sandwich. The real shining star for me though was the queso, it was almost sweet - I'm guessing from the caramelized onions. And the chips were perfectly crispy and mixed with plantain chips. That was a nice surprise! The server was really friendly, although very busy considering he was working the entire bar side. That said, the staff across the restaurant seemed friendly and welcoming. Okay- totally blown away by how incredibly delicious Table Mesa is! After a long day of exploring Bentonville, we got to Table Mesa around 7:30. Hungry and totally ravenous, the food did not disappoint! We started out with house chips and salsa which was the perfect starter. The salsa was very fresh and the chips were thick and substantial. They were not over-salted, so you could actually taste the chips, and this was greatly appreciated. For dinner entrees, I decided to go with lighter fare and do the tortilla soup. This will go down in history as the best tortilla soup I have ever had! I didn't know tortilla soup could be THIS good! It really hit the spot and wasn't heavy or greasy. My husband got the beef fajitas and I sampled them. They were totally put of this world delicious and he ate every single morsel on his plate (or I should say skillet), even the rice and beans were incredible! We wrapped up our meal with 2 desserts- I had the lemon meringue pie and my husband had a lime tres leches. Both desserts were very good and you could really taste the quality. Overall we had a perfect meal at Table Mesa and would easily come back in a heartbeat to eat here again. Also mention worthy was the adherence to COVID protocols. The tables are distanced and the waitstaff are wearing masks. Not sure why I haven't reviewed this place yet, as it was my go to restaurant every time I was out in Bentonville for work! Overall vibe's really lively and everyone's friendly. I have eaten alone at the bar multiple times, and have sat down for a team meeting/outing/dinner with larger groups. It's always been a good time. Two dishes I highly recommend are: 1. I had higher hopes for Table Mesa. We came and I was told it would be about a 40 minute wait, it only ended up being about 10 minutes which was a pleasant surprise! The service was good, staff was friendly. Food however was a bit disappointing. We started with the queso which came out Luke warm at best. The kids chicken stir fry was an interesting mix. We had two ordered and one was quite sparse of veggies and chicken and the other was definitely more plentiful. It was odd there were pickles in it... We sat outside! The weather was perfect! A very trendy restaurant ! Our server was the best! Our drinks were phenomenal and the food delicious! Our first dining experience in Bentonville and were we surprised by the quality of comprehensive service! We use to come for Sunday brunch which was usually very nice with a decent selection. However, recently the service has been super slow. We waited 15 minutes before anyone came to ask us if we wanted water. We self served the majority of the time - getting our own silverware, salt/pepper, and napkins. We got up a few times to get our waiter to come back. They forgot half our drinks. Towards the end of the meal we got them to bring the kids some milk and my latte to-go. My scone had a long black hair embedded in it. Definitely would not come back for a long while. I would not recommend this place to anyone either. It's busy likely due to location, but not for food nor service. read more

Parking during lunch hour wasn't as easy as there are a few good restaurants in the area and this spot definitely was one of them. I ordered the special of the day which was 3 skirt steak tacos with beans and rice. My vegetarian coworker ordered the house favorite butternut squash and said it was really good. This place is right at the center of the bentonville square. Looks small but when you walk in it's a lot bigger inside. Service was great, she was friendly and catered to my needs. Our food came out in a timely manner. I ordered the Birria Tacos and they were phenomenal! I highly recommend the lavender cream soda drink also. Their complementary chips and salsa were really great, their salsa wasnt as spicy as I was hoping for but it was still very good. Needless to say, I had told the waitress how I lived here and always passed the restaurant but I had never been. She gave us a complementary dessert for my first time being there. Sooo good! After a few days of overpriced, under performing places in Eureka Springs, we stopped here for lunch. Food was good. Atmosphere was nice and chill. Our server was in her first week and a little unfamiliar with the menu. My wife got one of the bowls and couldn't finish it all because of the size. Loved everything in it. I got the poblano chicken and loved the taste. Only issue was when she ordered dessert (tres leches cake) and was asked if she wanted chocolate or lime. Server said it only had a small amount of chocolate. Turns out it's a huge piece of cake with a TON of chocolate. Tasted like a bowl of coco puffs that sat in milk too long and turned to mush, topped with chocolate syrup. Decadent and yummy, but not what she was expecting. I ventured into Table Mesa on a recent NWA weekend get-a-way. I was lured in because I had a great dinner the night before at their sister restaurant around the corner - Tavola Trattoria; and secondly because they were listed as a tapas restaurant. They are most decidedly NOT a Tapas Bar! I have edited the Yelp category, hopefully this will be changed and not mislead anymore people. Since I was already seated and hungry, I didn't leave when I read the menu and realized that Table Mesa is an upscale Mexican fusion restaurant, and I repeat NOT a Tapas Bar! One option of wrapped dates does not a Tapas Bar make! I sat at the bar and had a friendly and efficient waiter, I ordered the Korean BBQ Beef Tacos. It was served as 2 flour shell tacos filled with slaw and grilled steak and Korean sauce. Black beans with crumpled queso and yellow rice accompanied. The tacos were very flavorful, but the meat was not chopped up enough to be served in a taco. The pieces were large and very difficult to maneuver while eating. During the virus we have been limiting ourselves to takeout but today decided to eat out. We found perfect sidewalk tables that were well appointed and well distanced. Service was masked, friendly and prompt. The menu was a surprise with a large variety of interesting choices. Much more than you normally see at lunch. The signature margarita is an excellent way to begin. Plates of well spiced brisket tacos, sautéd onions and poblano sauce came with black beans and lovely, fluffy yellow rice.
