Breakfast burrito with sausage
Lisa N.

I stayed at Hotel Indigo and they offered $15 food/drink voucher per night. Of course I had to take advantage of this! I ordered room service from here twice. It was to get a hold of them and get my order in. Angel was my server for both encounters. He was very polite and considerate. I ordered the breakfast burrito with sausage and another time it was with bacon. I don't think I saw any tater tots in my breakfast burrito though. It came with salsa verde and it was a great pairing because it needed some spice. The second time I ordered the breakfast burrito with bacon and the tater tots were much more noticeable. Pretty surprised at how good the burrito was.

This bar & kitchen is located inside the Indigo Hotel. Food and hospitality were awesome! Sarah is an amazing waitress, full of energy and is a ray of sunshine. Robert is the man! His bartending skills are quite excellent. He definitely has some skill behind that bar. Other than the Sarah and Robert show, the other staff members were nice. The food was picture perfect and it tasted great. Definitely did not underwhelm on any of the meals I had.

Located in a Hotel lobby walked by this place. A traditional breakfast menu and nice establishment gives it a nice feel. Nothing really stands out here except ambience. Went with blueberry pancakes and a two egg Plate. Pancakes were super fluffy but burnt outside and doughy inside. Bacon definitely day old. Service wasn't the best, or even average. Overall it's a hotel breakfast so don't have high expectations.

Soyrizo Scramble was so tasty!

Excellent lobby restaurant for breakfast with tasty food and top-notch service from Sergio. We enjoyed breakfast here every day of our trip and ended up trying many things on the menu - Island Avenue Parfait, Soyrizo Scramble, Cali Sausage Burrito, 509 Chilaquiles, Triple Threat Scramble. Everything was delicious, particularly the Soyrizo Scramble. Sooo good! But what really made this experience wonderful was Sergio. He was super friendly, attentive, shared tons of knowledge and advice with us about local culture, things to do, and history of both San Diego and Tijuana. He truly understands service and was a bright spot in every day of our trip, helping start off each morning so happily. Muchas gracias!

Was down for the Padres and dodgers game my nephew turned 21 and he wanted to go see the game. So my sister messed up and me and my dad and nephew got kicked out of our other hotel due to not booking mess. So my sister ended up getting us the hotel we're the tabletop restaurant is. The waiter was excellent ! Breakfast egg burrito Chipotle was so good the coffee was awesome. if I'm ever down by San Diego again I will stop and have breakfast at the tabletop. Sister it was the best mess up.

We came here to try their Breakfast at a place called TABLE 509 BAR and KITCHEN. It's actually located inside the Hotel Indigo. This place is a walking distance from PETCO PARK, like you can see the Petco Park stadium from the entrance of Hotel Indigo, where the restaurant is. The entrance to this restaurant is at the main Lobby of the Indigo Hotel. I don't see any Dress code since most of the people who are dinning are Tourists. They have Breakfast and Dinner, but their Dinner is not back yet, they are only serving Breakfast. They also have a Roof top Bar that I did not get to see 'coz they open at 5 pm. I got to explore the inside of this Hotel 'coz the Bathroom for 509 Kitchen and Bar is located all the way to the other side of the Hotel. Our server was really Fast and he let us choose where to sit. I chose the table next to this Rain Curtain. I expected to hear rain fall sounds, but it was so quiet, the water falling continuously was so Pretty to see while we were next to it while eating. We ordered: *2 COFFEES *509 CHILAQUILES *INDIGO SCRAMBLER My husband's breakfast was simple, but good. I'm not sure if the Chilaquiles had the right taste 'coz I've never had Chilaquiles before. It's kind of a bit Sour, but with Hot Sauce and egg it was good. I like the Coffee Refill dispenser they look like Soy sauce glass dispenser or a shaped of a light Bulb ;) All in All the place and the food was okay, and good to know that this place is a walking distance to PETCO PARK STADIUM .

Stayed at the hotel indigo for work and had the pleasure to meet with the assistant manager elaine, she was very pleasant and we chatted for quite some time. The food was amazing and the ambient was very cozy, the food came out quick and no complaints. Great service overall.

Thanks! Made me want to visit SD again

Located in the lobby of Hotel Indigo at the Northeast corner of 9th and Island, we stopped by here for dessert and cocktails at the bar to cap off our night in Downtown San Diego. The place looked very nice. Aside from a great looking bar area and sexy tables, there was also a "water wall". No, it didn't splash all over the place, so that's a plus. My girlfriend requested a virgin cocktail with ginger beer, and it was excellently-made. It contained ginger beer, ancho chili, honey, and another ingredient I don't remember. Whatever it was, it tasted great. She did not miss alcohol at all, as it left her feeling very satisfied as if she had an alcoholic drink. The chocolate cake we had was also delicious. It was garnished with strawberries as well as a base of chocolate and caramel sauce. It wasn't very busy when we were there. Perhaps it was at a part of downtown that didn't have very much traffic. Also, there was no event or baseball game happening at Petco Park yet for the season, so that made sense. I'm sure they get much more traffic when there is something going on there. Parking: Tough. Find street parking, especially after 6pm when meters, yellow spots, and green spots are free without time limit for the rest of the night. There are also structures if you don't want your car out in the open for people to see and touch. FYI: - It's not the cheapest, so don't expect any deals or bargains. However, more expensive doesn't necessarily mean better, as our server/bartender recommended a cheaper and simpler drink to pair with our dessert. - Service is very good. Perhaps one day, I'll return for brunch.

Came here for breakfast on a weekday around 9:30am. Our meal was complimentary bc it was included in our hotel reservation. Not too busy, there were a few other guests in the dining area. Nice, clean, modern look... opens up into the main lobby of Indigo Hotel. Our server was quick and polite... For breakfast, husband ordered a breakfast burrito with eggs, Italian sausage, tots, and cheese served with fresh fruit... husband enjoyed but he did mention that it was a little spicy... I had the New Town Breakfast.. scrambled eggs with cheese, ham, bell peppers and served with tots, toast, and fruit. Everything tasted fresh, with simple flavors not heavily seasoned.. good size servings, I was unable to finish.. They also have a pretty well stocked bar and happy hour options...

Yelp is suggesting me to consider "food, service, and ambiance" in here, which I have to say have all been my favorite experience at a restaurant within a hotel in the US. Actually, it ranks well above a lot of other breakfast places I've tried through Yelp reviews. The convenience would have been enough, but I loved the diversity of selection options while still maintaining a theme of American tastes. The ingredients weren't skimped on like I see so often with American breakfasts. Lastly, like a lot of people in here, Sergio was our friendly and memorable host that really sold me on this place. He made me such a delicious cappuccino :)

Convenience Hotel restaurants should take care of the basic restaurant needs of the guests. This place does that. It serves food in a hotel. The location and open wall-less exterior are a nice comfortable architectural arrangement. It is right by Petco Baseball stadium. And it is working on being hip (flower/plant arranging class during happy hour, constant music). The hip nonstop music, lead me to take my breakfast and coffee somewhere else to find a quiet enough place for a phone call. It is a bar, and the drinks came out of bottles. Very little unique. There are 4 beers on tap which can be ordered as a flight. Food is also basic. Happy hour had no food choices (2 dollars off a 15 dollar beer or 3 off a 14 glass of wine-not enough to really call it a happy hour. Service was slow and difficult.

Indigo Breakfast Sandwich

Breakfast Burrito was delicious. Very filling. May I add the mimosa was a good way to start the day. Our server Sergio was amazing. Very welcoming and warm hearted. Definitely would recommend to stay and dine in at hotel indigo.

Coming back to send my love to my favorite sub place…read more I've sadly moved to a different part of town so Fatboy's is no longer a few blocks away. I still try to stop by every few months as this place holds a special place in my heart. A no frills spot. Solid and consistent. To the point but friendly customer service. Fantastic drink, chip and snack selection. Sandwiches are always bomb asf. The hot momma and BLT loaded up is my favorite. My husband still loves their Ruben (it is his favorite place to get it.) You get a small potato or macaroni salad on the side with a pickle (perfect crunch.) I personally think it's a great little add on. Their chili is also simple but delicious. I personally think their chili pairs perfectly with any of their sandwiches. It's not a heavy thick chili. Which is why I think it pairs so well. I won't lie it's a bit pricey but you get what you pay for. It's loaded up and good quality. I never feel gross or overly bloated after eating here. I will be coming back to Fatboy's until I move out of San Diego or die. lol. One of my favorite gems in SD. Always will be worth the drive or walk. Thank you for always delivering even years later.

I used to frequent Fatboy's because it was close and convenient for a long time, but I am rarely able to visit anymore... parking is a bigger challenge every day in North Park, and finding even a 15-minute spot takes way longer than the drive for me now (but the walk is too far to pick up a quick meal). Today I was down the street for something else so decided to order a sandwich. I was excited, then my jaw dropped when I saw the price increases. It's $18 for the North Park Club now, with no extras. I already had a hard time justifying $15 for a sandwich but I'm officially, 100% priced out now. I know it's not necessarily on the business owners; rent is exorbitant in NP, profit margins are small in the food service industry, and operating costs are high. Our city is eating itself alive, but thank you for the years of sandwiches!

Beyer Deli - The New Yorker sandwich at Beyer Deli is a MUST try!!

I'm pleased to report that Beyer Deli was everything you said it was. Thanks Yelpers!…read more Now that's a sandwich! The hours may be a little skimpy, but the meats are bountiful...pause. A little off the beaten path...yes Selective hours while you're probably working...yeah Worth an extended lunch to grab one of these sandos...Absolutely! Dena and the crew are putting together some seriously delicious and well-thought-out, stacked sandos. While you won't be getting a footlong roll, the sizable portion of fillings makes for an excellent meat to bread ratio. And speaking of bread, while most of the sandwiches come on a fresh torta roll, you also have your choice of sourdough, wheat, rye, squaw, French roll, wrap, or croissant. Now that's wassup. What I tried on this visit: The New Yorker and The Italian Both sandwiches were absolutely fire. I started with the Italian and the first thing I noticed was the beautiful, shimmering, thinly sliced red onion. The shine on the veggies immediately let me know they were perfectly dressed with oil and vinegar. Upon separating the two halves to reveal the innards, layers upon layers of freshly sliced meats were waiting to be devoured. First bite...ecstasy. Not only were the veggies dressed, they were also seasoned. The combination of the flavorful proteins, tasty veggies, and fluffy torta, were a HIT! This sandwich was juicy in all the right ways. My only wish is that I would have substituted the American cheese with more provolone or swiss. Moving on to The New Yorker...Hello Pastrami!! Bomb, bomb, bomb. Both the corned beef and the pastrami were smackin' on this hot sando. Wonderfully tender, lean, flavorful proteins were packed inside this torta for absolute deliciousness. I wish I had one right now. The only thing that would have made this better was some horseradish mustard. Along with sandwiches there are breakfast items including bagels and a burrito, salads, soups, chips, and a famous brownie. Unfortunately, the brownies were sold out by the time I arrived, but I'll definitely pick one up the next time they're available. Great pickles, free parking, a few outside tables, and some inside seating rounds out the experience. Call ahead to minimize the wait. Thanks Dena and crew! I'll be back!!!

Yum with a capital Y-U-M. Chicken noodle is also excellent. Great beer selection in their refrigerated case. Look carefully, as you may miss something you really would like to try. Many local craft breweries available, but if you want the national brands, they have those too. Excellent service from the kitchen staff and the checkout staff. Be aware, though, this place does get really crowded at lunchtime, so you'll most likely have to wait in line to check out. It was THAT good. The crust was perfectly crispy, the toppings were the perfect amount, and they were spread out so every bite had the right combination. And the flavor?! Oh my God. But here's what really got me: there was absolutely NO greasy, gooey mess. Nothing soggy, nothing weighed down with cheese or oil. That's what kept the crust so perfectly crisp all the way through. It was just really, really well-made pizza. And an 18-inch pizza was only $27, with HUGE slices. Seriously, what a deal. Ordering online was super easy, and it was ready in less than 30 minutes. We picked it up and basically couldn't stop talking about how good it was. Hands down, the best pizza we've had in this area. This one is going into the rotation. And at $27 for an 18-inch? We typically go to Iowa Farms since it's close to us and we're familiar with the location. So we decided since we'd be in the Bay Park area, we'll check out the original location, Siesel's. Glad we did! I wanted to make a slow cooker brisket one weekend, so it was perfect. Siesel's is a bit larger than Iowa Farms and feels a bit more open. Same great cow awaiting outside the store. But they have a whole deli counter with all the sides plus more! They didn't have any ready made prepackaged bbq baked beans, it was better, made fresh daily and we were able to get as much as we wanted at the deli counter. They also have several different Siesel's signature potato salads and pasta salads that aren't offered prepackaged at Iowa farms, which I absolutely love! My favs are the Asiago pasta and deviled egg potato salad. We also decided to try their Tri-tip sandwich made to order at the deli and it was delicious! Fluffy bun piled high with Tri-tip covered in bbq sauce and have the option to add cheese and anything else. Love it! Staff is always very helpful.
