Quick version. Brunch, DJ spinning the R&B and Hip Hop hits, hookah, crowded, and decent food. I arrived for a friend's birthday party. 12-15+ women. Waitresses did the best they could possibly do. The restaurant was crowded. Mimosas flight was too sweet- tropical punch, peach, strawberry, and prickly pear. A splash of OJ and champagne would have been sufficient. I ordered the seafood mac, greens, and salmon egg rolls. Collards were vinegar heavy. Mac and egg rolls were tasty. Nothing to write home to mom about, though. The table was filled with lobster mac, shrimp and grits, chicken & waffles, deviled eggs & shrimp, and an assortment of other items on the menu. I presume it was all good, or maybe just edible. No one really spoke out about the food. I'm sure this is The Spot for someone. It's not my type of vibe. I'm one and done. read more

Very very pleased with our visit here! The food, ambiance, and service were all great! The food actually had flavor and was plentiful. My only issues was my waffle was overcooked and dry but the flavor was good. The French toast was way better. The chicken and lobster were SEASONED so if you're sensitive to salt , just a heads up. Everything was delicious tho! Our waitress , Danielle was great! She was super friendly and welcoming. Anything we needed she was there and thorough. The ambiance was a vibeeee! There is no other restaurant like this in Tampa bay. F.U. B. U read more

I came to Table 22 for a friends bday brunch with are friends . We had a great time ! DJ was on point , was playing all the good R&B songs . The restaurant is nice . Drinks and food came out at a decent time . The only reason why I'm giving it 3 starts is because I have never been to a restaurant who does auto grat of 20%. That's just beyond me . I've been to 5 start restaurants and better restaurants in the Tampa Bay Area and I have never seen a 20% grat and this isn't Miami . The service was decent I wouldn't say it was worth 20% auto grat . We did have a party of 8 but we as a group should have just did one check auto save the extra fees . Oh yeah there was a service fee on top of it too . So I HIGLY RECOMMEND paying with one card . Just send someone the money pulse tip and yall pay it out on one card to save all the extra fees . I had the Deuce Deuce . It was pretty good . I also got a glass of champagne twice ! Also going to leave a view of my read more

I was excited to check out this restaurant after seeing the food in Instagram and hearing the commercials on the radio. I went for a Monday which was nice and low key. Worked out perfectly because I had my young daughter with me. Our waitress was very accommodating and made sure we had a high chair. The ambiance of the restaurant was a nice vibe. I loved the R&B music they were playing. The menu was larger than expected and had some great options. I ordered the Stockton fried wings which had a nice flavor and were really good. For my sides I got the collard greens and seafood Mac and cheese. They were sooo good. The flavors were in point. My brother and I agreed they were the best greens we've had. The side portions are very generous so we were able to share. I'll definitely be back during a weekend day for a more turned up vibe! read more

It's in a weird strip mall and definitely has a turned up environment with a live DJ and loud dining room. Drinks are really high priced and so was food. Wings were $16 and they looked anorexic. Very skimpy and the taste was just. Service was fine. Drink was a little weak. My husband had lobster bites with the salad and his bites were a little chewy, kind of small but pretty good. He really liked the candied yams but be prepared for them to be very candied and super sweet. It was packed and seems like a cool place to hang out. They do have a dress code because it seems like a place you go to be seen so some were flashing or scantily dressed but they do not allowed too much skin showing. This was obviously a problem. I'd describe the vibe as bougie with a touch of ratchet. read more

The food was bomb! My drinks were great too! I forgot to take pics of the drinks but I had a lemon drop & a wild-berry lemon drop - double shots. The table had wings & waffles & also wings & french toast. I had the fried lobster tail with French toast, grilled lobster, tail with seafood, macaroni and cheese and also I think it's called the Tampa, it's fried crab rolls. Our waitress was awesome! I believe her name is Sadè and she is from Mississippi. The music was great. It was a mixed crowd in there. We went for dinner on a Friday. read more

My mom brought me here after we went to The Madison the night before. Both were great. This location is more upbeat, a cultural centerpiece for those that want to see their people and dance in their seats. The food was really good. Nothing was over-salted or over-sugared. Great blend of flavors. And I really like their drinks. My drink had Hennessy, tequila, mango, pineapple, and a sugar rim. Definitely got our money's worth. I really loved it. read more

The food was amazing! the service was great and the team was lovely. i would definitely recommend this restaurant to everyone.

We were in Tampa and decided to stop Table 22. We didn't have a reservation and the wait was going to be more than one hour. It was very busy. Therefore, my friend and I decided to check at their bar for a drink, and thankfully, a couple was leaving, and we were able to sit. The place was clean, nicely decorated. There was a DJ playing great music, and the crowd seemed to enjoy the ambiance. The bartender Manny took care of us and suggested that we go for the waffles and chicken, which I did order. My friend opted for the French toast and chicken. The food was pretty decent, and we didn't have to wait long. l need to come back. I will make a reservation so I can sit at a table to enjoy the full experience. It's a really cool place, great vibes for brunch with a group of friends. read more

The food was very flavorful and the options were pretty good. With that being said, I can understand the too salty comments. Our server was great and they were very organized with seating and reservations. However, our food (4) came out at different times which was clearly a kitchen thing and not a server thing. Drinks were good, music and DJ were great. Overall, I'm in no rush to return. read more

In Tampa with family and decided to check out Table 22 for brunch. We had reservations for 6 at 12:30 and were seated right away when we arrived. I was surprised that the restaurant wasn't very busy but it was a win for us. They offered a Margarita Flight tasting, which we all sampled. They all were sweet and strong. We ordered the Knighton Egg Flight(forgot to take a picture!) and Egg Rolls for the table-Salmon and Philly Cheesesteak . Both were quite tasty. For the main meal, I ordered the Black Wall Street French Toast and my Hubby ordered the Harlem Corned Beef Hash. Both were simply amazing. Tasty and melt in your mouth delicious. The atmosphere was very chill with good music playing in the background. Everyone in the restaurant seemed to be having a good time and enjoying the good vibes. We loved the decor as well. Our server was attentive and gave great insight into what we might like. We will definitely itely be visiting again on our next trip to Tampa. read more

We arrived to our 12:30 reservation for my Aunts bday and we sat over 15 minutes without service or being acknowledged by any staff. Went to brunch when some family was in town on a Friday afternoon. We had a reservation and there was no wait for our table when we arrived. The restaurant atmosphere is very nice. We were all very excited to partake in brunch; however, the food was not as we anticipated. The chicken was a bit overcooked. A couple of people had the corn beef hash, and were disappointed with the portion size and taste. They offer a free flight on Fridays so we gave it a try. All but one were too sweet. The French toast and the appetizers were good. We also received good service. Not sure that I would return as the price is, a bit high for the quality. read more

Absolutely loved the ambience. The music was definitely a vibe && on point not too loud... the service was fast && our server was very polite && observant..... the food was delish && the portion size was fulfilling. I ordered devil eggs && salmon egg rolls for appetizers. The shrimp on the deviled eggs were seasoned to perfection but the egg filling itself was a lil bland.... The salmon egg rolls were delicious no complaints. I also had French toast, bacon && eggs which all tasted pretty good the corn beef hash is on a whole different level!!!!! It tastes like seasoned oxtails.... The drinks were fire && strong we had the margarita half tower && it did not disappoint... will definitely be back.... read more

To say that I looked up a Black Owned Business to support while I was in Tampa. I found Table 22 on Google & Instagram.... We made it for Sunday Brunch / Lunch. The food was disappointing.... I ordered the Shrimp & Grits with a side of Collard Greens and cornbread.... Needless to say my greens came out cold. I'm not sure if it's a Tampa thing to put chicken bites in the shrimp and grits, but okay.. I'm not a fan.... They brought me back warmer greens and they were extremely salty. A suggestion to the chef: when using smoked meat you do not have to use as much salt or seasoning! The vibe was a vibe, we enjoyed the atmosphere. Our server, it was a stretch to get a smile from her! Overall, we enjoyed the drinks and our time there! Out of the six of us, everyone else said their food was just alright.... The food was tasty overall but a few things were poorly executed. They had a DJ which makes for a good time but the music was so loud that the table conversations had to be yelled to be heard. On to the food...The wings and deviled eggs apps were absolutely delicious! For my entree I ordered oxtails and grits with a lobster tail on the side. The oxtails were yummy and melt in your mouth tender but my lobster tail was ambushed and overcooked in the worst way. I ate one bite and just couldn't. As for the service there were a few times we asked staff members for plates and utensils for our appetizers...some said they "only bus the tables" while the others just forgot. Our food took a substantial amount of time to get our table- WELL over an hour++. It took so long that we considered grabbing something else to make it to our next engagement on time. Overall it was fine- just not for me. read more

This review is from a couple weeks ago. We were able to make reservations online. My husband and I came to this establishment on a Thursday morning at 11 AM the place it just opened up so we were the first ones inside. We were quickly seated and the waitress was nice. Luckily, they still had their Christmas drink menu. I ended up getting the Green Apple sangria and my husband got the Grinch drink. Both drinks were delicious but i definitely enjoyed mine better than his lol As far as the food, we started off with the Sanders Wings. These wings consisted of 6 wings tossed in their Buffalo sauce. They were delicious and packed with so much flavor! They definitely didn't disappoint! As far as the entrees: i ended up getting the catfish and grits. Great portion and the grits were creamy and the catfish was fried to perfection. Perfectly seasoned too. My only disappointment was that I found a mysterious piece of plastic in my food. Almost cracked my tooth but it just threw me off. The waitress apologized. My husband got the Upper West Side cheese which was the house Mac and cheese topped with seafood. I think it had about 8 shrimp, a 7 oz fried lobster tail, and crab meat. For the bowl to be so small they really packed the food in there! The bathrooms were cute for great photo ops. I'm sure this place is packed on the weekends. I'm giving it 3 stars just because of the plastic piece in my food. But definitely form your own opinion and give it a try. read more

Came down to Tampa for Q Conclave and wanted to try Table 22. The atmosphere was a vibe... the server was extremely friendly, and the space was clean, spacious, and well lite.. We came just at opening (11 AM), so my 1st selection of a meal wasn't avail (Oxtail Grits), I opted for the Seafood Mac & Cheese.. At 1st glance, it LOOKED amazing, but then I tasted it, and it was a train wreck.. My soft scrambled eggs were extra runny.. I requested cheese & there was none.. The Seafood Mac & Cheese was oily & extremely salty!!! Did I still pay- yup... I want to ensure that small businesses get a chance & just because I didn't like it someone might.. Will I recommend or return... probably NOT!!! read more

The location of the restaurant and the prices do not go together... it is located in a sketchy strip mall, the overall ambiance and aesthetic was decent given that my table was shaky and basically broken. However, the food could use a lot of work. The grits were not good at all they tasted as if they weren't cooked properly and the mac and cheese was real salty. Handing out milo's lemonade and charging for it is insane. Also be mindful there will be a 3% service charge and 15% gratuity automatically added to your check. In my opinion this place is overpriced and an example of why it is hard to support black owned businesses. read more

Table 22 at 4924 E. Busch Blvd. In Tampa is ridiculous with the added fees. First of all, i came in today 2/23/25 and set at the bar and ordered a drink and was given a menu. I was looking around at the crowd and listening to the music. The water and my drink was given to me. I started looking at my menu and long behold at the very bottom there is something written about 15% gratuity and 3% service fee on every bill. Like i told the barmaid. I usually tip 20% if the service is good but asked what is the 3% service fee for? And she said the cook. I personally felt the establishment should pay the cook, not customers. I asked Nyla the Manager why are customers paying your cooks. She said the service fee is not only for the cooks, its for the dj, and the person who refills the ice. Last i checked i came for what i was ordering and should only be obligated to pay for that. That should be the responsibility of the the employer to pay staff not customers. That is a set up to ask a person what do they want to drink, then as you create a bill with a drink, hand them a menu that at the bottom states additional charges. Who read a menu bottom up? No wonder they were able to open Madison 2.0 Customers paid for that when they literally make anywheres to 300-500 reservation at Table 22 robbing people read more

I was super excited to try this place but it was kind of a let down. We started with the salmon egg rolls. They were not good at all. I ordered the lobster mac and cheese and the presentation was good but the dish was not. It came with shrimp that were super mushy and the mac and cheese was not good. The lobster was very good though. A manager came by and asked about our experience. When I told her, she quickly took the lobster mac and cheese off the bill and asked if I wanted something else. I politely declined. The mimosa flight was the highlight of the meal. I doubt I will return. read more

I took my husband there for brunch, it's best to make a reservation prior to going, to avoid a wait. We were almost late and they honored our reservation. The decor is nice, the music selection is good if you like r&b classics, late 90s, early 2000s hits. We ordered the Remington egg rolls, Knighton eggs flight, Beef hash, Oxtail, seafood Mac and cheese and Stockton Street Dinner. Overall, the food was good, however I could tell that some items are just reheated and plated. My favorite was the egg rolls, Mac and cheese. My husband said the beef hash was okay. My mom had the oxtail and grits and said it was good. I liked the street dinner and had no issues. I LOVED the seafood Mac and cheese. read more

So, this spot's kinda hidden around 50th and Busch, sandwiched between Dollar General, JLo Beauty Supply, and Rose Furniture. Don't judge by the outside - not the fanciest setup, but hey, there's plenty of parking. Rolled up right at opening, a small line forming, but once you step inside, it's surprisingly decked out. Cool vibe, great music - not too loud or crazy. Our server, Sade (pretty sure that was her name), rocked these awesome colorful locs and was amazing the whole time. Now, let's talk eats. The salmon eggrolls? Legit best appetizer! So tasty. My cocktail (Breezy 22) was great, they offer a nice selection of drinks and flights. Went for the oxtails and grits - which hit the spot. I ordered the Seafood macaroni as an extra side but it didn't really pair well with my oxtails, two many fighting flavors. However alone they were both great. I was part of a trio dining at Table 22 last Friday. Prior to my visit, I'd seen numerous Instagram posts, heard announcements, seen pictures of food and received recommendations, building up the restaurant's reputation as a must-try. Upon arrival, I initially questioned if I was at the correct place due to its location nestled between a furniture store and another potentially abandoned building. However, spotting the Table 22 sign in the parking area confirmed my arrival at the right spot. I was welcomed by a guy (can't recall his name) at the door. I informed him I was waiting for two friends. The ambiance inside featured a DJ booth playing nostalgic D'Angelo tunes, setting the mood--not 2023 D'Angelo, but How Does It Feel D'Angelo circa 2000! If you know; you know. Anyway, I was seated by the guy/host and shortly thereafter a tall beautiful lady named Sade took over. As I awaited for my friends, I admired the R&B artist portraits adorning the walls, creating a fantastic atmosphere. Yet, my anticipation for the food grew stronger with every passing moment. Finally joined by my friends, each ordered their preferences, from lamb chops and chicken and waffles to indulging in King Crab starters. Although tempted by other savory dishes, I settled for the chicken and waffles due to the aftermath of my Thanksgiving feast. As for my friends, I received positive feedback on the Mac, fries, lamb chops, and King Crab. As for my chicken and waffles, while the flavor of the waffle was excellent, the waffle was dry, potentially not freshly made. When Sade came to check on us, I just said things were fine because her service was fast & efficient, the chicken was on point & the vibe was right. Despite my waffle, the chicken itself was flavorful and the highlight of my meal. In terms of the menu and experience, I aim to return to Table 22 in the future. We arrived early in the evening, under the impression they closed at 7:15 pm (thanks Google) only to discover they transition to a DJ/lounge ambiance with limited menu options after 8 (I believe). I think they actually were open til midnight that night. Despite this, I plan to revisit, supporting their establishment and providing an updated experience to get them to 4 ! One Love read more

It was an experience. It was four people in my group. I called early to make a reservation but the lady on the phone told me to just walk in at 6:30 because they closed at 8pm. So we did, we got there and the hostess said it was about 30 minute wait. She also stated she was just waiting on a table and she would seat us. However, there was a group before us but she never mentioned that when I checked in so when the table was cleared and they sat the other group I became agitated. We sat at the bar while waiting for table and the gentleman informed us that part of the bar out of service and he asked another bartender to help us. We sat there about 10 minutes and the other bartenders were just standing around and did not even approach us. The bartender who doing the drinks for the servers had to tell the other bartender again to help us.
