Ambiance and service was great. My server recommended the salmon rolls appetizer and they were actually pretty good. The margarita flight was sweet but still ok, I loved my fried catfish with grits! Full with flavor and the catfish was cooked perfectly as well. Good vibes, good music, amazing customer service :)
Went for brunch Well, it is loud during this time. Service was nice. It was nice to go once, but a little expensive for the food, but an experience.
My to go order was done on time, the food was hot, I was greeted as soon as I walked in, and the deviled eggs were delicious. I like the black walstreet French toast too. The sliders were only okay but I really like the slate of options of the menu and they have a cute atmosphere.
Service was friendly eventually but slow in the beginning. It took a while for anyone to acknowledge me (just say hi/provide water) at the bar although there were multiple employees standing behind the bar & only one other customer sitting at the bar. The corn bread was delicious-- very fluffy and not too sweet. The side of potatoes were well seasoned and crispy. Montgomery Grilled Cheese-- They gave me a good amount of short rib and the short rib was perfectly tender. The issue is that the sandwich overall was too salty. It had the potential to be great but the saltiness gets in the way.
The vibe was great. Would highly recommend making a reservation in advance. No issue with parking since it's located in a shopping plaza. Went for brunch and had a blast - music was great but not a place for a conversational brunch as it was loud. The service was very attentive. The food was presented well, flavorful, and amazing portion sizes.
It's always a vibe here. I recommend reservations for large groups. The work as a team here, so even if you have a designated waiter, the entire team helps out which I love. The sauce on the French toast is very sweet so get it on it side. The fried chicken is amazing. The collard greens were not a hit, I would get anything else. The cheesesteak Eggrolls needed more cheese but I'm from Philly so I may be spoiled about what they should taste like but the needed to be fried a bit longer as well but overall not bad.
I really loved this place! I had my Birthday brunch here with my family and it was a good pick. It was not too crowded and was able to accommodate my big party. I had the mimosa flight and ox tail and grits. The mimosa flavors were nice. The ox tails didn't have enough ox tails but that was expected. I never had that combination so I had to try it. The music had us boppin and dancing in our seats the whole time. They played music from every era. The dj was 100% on point. The prices were a little steep but I get it you pay for the atmosphere and vibe and I only do these types of brunches for my birthday which is perfect because I don't have to pay lol. Overall, it was a good vibe, good food and fun with my family. I would definitely come back even if it wasn't my bday so I could try the fried food items because I heard they are amazing!
Sade is the BEST ever I ever had is such a while. Her spirits is so beautiful and she guided us with all the different best dishes. I wanted to find a place to eat for my birthday that was different in my life so searching and found Table 22. Now we made reservations for this place because it's very busy establishment. When we walked in the atmosphere was like come in here cause we here to have a good time and make you feel good. Now we started off with Salmon Egg Rolls and Devil Eggs with Lobster Bites and for the drink we had Peach Me for the season and a shot to follow. Now even though they're busy it's not taking the food nor drinks long to come and the food was very hot when they bring it to your table. I just really want to stress about the fun and experienced waitress we had for our table. She was sweet, fun, observant and because of Sade is why we will come back to visit. We stay over 2 hours away and we are already planning to come back again. It's best to make reservations to make sure it's a spot for you and your group. The average for your entrees are between $12-$32 and that varies with the appetizer and your main entree. Now they to have the Mimosa towers half $40/$80 for a complete tower.
This was my second time at Table 22. First time was dinner and wasn't a fan. This time we decided to book reservations for brunch. We arrived and was greeted promptly and sat to a table for 2. The table was disgusting. Left over food and grim very noticeable and they placed the menus and silverware right on top. We asked for it to be cleaned and it Indeed was not that is a reason for taking away a star. We ordered drinks and appetizers which came out quickly and was great. The margarita flight consisted of blueberry, original, strawberry, and mango. We enjoyed them and could taste the liquor. For the appetizer we got the deviled egg flight with lobster. $22 bucks for 5. Not 6 which would equal 3 whole eggs. I get it but 1 more would have been better bring that we shared for 2 people. Minus 1 star On to the main course. Oxtail with grits and crab cakes. We added a side of collard greens which also came out very quickly. The dishes were a nice size. Very fair portions which allowed enough to go. All in all it was good but I can't justify their billing and extra fees. Regular restaurants kindly mention the gratuity and explain the extra fee but not here. Surprise Surprise. 15% and additional 3% and had the nerve to ask for additional gratuity. I'd typically leave 21% but in this case, no additional amount was left. Minus another star. I probably won't return but think it is worth the experience at least 1 time.
Not the kind of brunch place that I was expecting. But it was an amazing time. It's basically a day club that serves food with the alcohol. The servers were very nice. The food was good. The ambience was 90s R&B, hip-hop and it looked like something, out of a Godfather's movie. Big paintings on the walls painted all white, crown molding everywhere. Upbeat club style music so, if you're looking for a quiet place, not it. definitely more of a turn up vibe.
The food was good, I won't deny that. The problem was how unprepared they were. You can't start the day pushing back a reservation for 30 people when we were scheduled 3 weeks out, and everyone was there, on time. The restaurant was also out of certain alcoholic beverages and food items at 12 pm on a Saturday. For our group, there were multiple servers and while our end had a great experience, most of the ladies caught attitudes because they had questions about the menu. For most of us, it was our first experience there and as the reviews preceded our arrival, the staff is HORRIBLE!!!!
My friends and I went to their brunch and we had a delightful time. Our server had amazing energy and was very helpful in explaining the menu. They had a dj that let the energy lively the entire time. If you're looking for great food and a lot atmosphere, try Table 22!
Great experience here! I needed some time to kill and was in the mood for a mimosa, so I decided to try this place out. We didn't have a reservation but they were able to get us seated at the bar. The staff there were all very nice and attentive. The only reason I give it 4 stars is because the DJ was a little loud. The vibes were 10/10, it was just the volume. I had the mimosa flight and my bf had a mixed drink. Both were great. We then tried the deviled egg flight with fried chicken...phenomenal!!! Great experience and I'd definitely go back.
I hosted my military sendoff dinner at Table 22, and overall, we had a really good time. I didn't get many pictures of the food because I was busy celebrating, but everything we ordered was delicious. My group was seated toward the back of the restaurant, and the seating arrangement didn't really accommodate our larger group, but we made it work. There were a few details with the service that could definitely be tweaked, but overall, the atmosphere was on point. The live DJ really added to the experience and kept the energy going. I also brought my own photographer with me to capture the occasion, and I really appreciated that the restaurant allowed us to take pictures and celebrate. It was a special moment for me, and being able to capture those memories with my friends and family made the experience even better. I'd definitely come back and try brunch to get a better feel for the restaurant and experience more of what they have to offer. Overall, good food, great energy! read more

The place is bright and inviting. R&B music was playing in the background. We were seated immediately (Monday afternoon). The server was patient as we took our time to browse the menu. I didn't try any of the mixed drinks. The salmon egg rolls were great. They were hot and fresh. The sauce on the side was a good compliment. The Brownsville grits were okay; I wasn't too crazy about the grits itself or the sauce on top. The sauce was too much for me. There are definitely more good options on the menu. Overall, nice brunch spot. read more
It was my first time going to this new restaurant and I have to say I was impressed. First thing I loved was the live DJ that played the good R&B jams while I enjoyed my meal. Second, I had the deviled eggs for appetizers and they tasted like homemade ones which is great. I also ate the French Toast and chicken which was amazing! The french toast came with fresh fruit on top and the chicken was fried to perfection. My only request would be to have three chicken wings instead of two. Last, but not least the best part of my meal was this melon drink. It had the perfect amount of watermelon flavor and liquor. I had a good old time and can't wait to go back. My only critique would be which is why I gave 4 stars and not 5 is that the food and drinks are overpriced, but other that I loved it. read more
So glad we had reservations. We said we had a party of 10. They separated our tables. 7 sat at one and 3 sat at another. The table with 3 got their drinks and food first. They finished their food before our table got our food. I ordered the oxtails and grits + greens. The oxtails and grits were so good. The greens were delicious. My friend ordered the Mac and cheese. She let me taste it. Whew! It was amazing! Our waitresses were really nice. I enjoyed the margarita flight. The bathroom was clean. The music was a vibe. read more

My friends and I came here during brunch for drinks. The atmosphere is casual with a chill vibe. The staff were very accommodating and nice. Title service was not advertised but they ensured they met the needs of my party. I like how they put the flowers in the drinks. So cute. The music level of the DJ wasn't too loud. It was nice to hear music and still have a conversation with friends. This was a nice place to visit in Tampa. Kai (may be misspelled) was our server and she was so nice. She was new but she handled our party with professionalism. read more

Ambiance- clean and inviting. Good music. Food- needs work, chicken wings were not good, yams were terrible and likely from a can. No one in my party enjoyed their food. I hate to leave bad reviews for restaurants, but this one was necessary. Please take time to work on improving overall food quality. Drinks- strong (too)! Service- nice and friendly. read more

My friends and I went to Saturday brunch at Table 22. We had a reservation and were seated pretty quickly after arrival. It is so cute inside and has a great vibe. The DJ was amazing! He played a great mix of R&B. We were singing and dancing the whole time. We were greeted by our waitress, Sudy. She was absolutely amazing and we hope to have her again next time we go. We started with the beetle juice shots. Sudy told us about the margarita and mimosa tower. We decided to do the margarita tower with Don Julio. She also gave us different flavors to add to our glass. We had huckleberry, mango, passion fruit, and guava. They were all delicious! For food, we all got the shrimp and grits with the creole sauce on the side. What a great choice. The shrimp and grits were flavorful without the sauce, but it was a tasty addition to the dish. Table 22 was definitely a great time and we plan to go back soon! read more
Went for a birthday celebration. The place is a whole vibe! The DJ was a whole vibe and had their rolling. We had a 3:00 reservarion and only waited 9 minutes for our table. They were extremely busy, but handled it well. India was our waitress and had a lot going on, but was great. The food was fresh and was good. I didn't take a picture of the greens, but they were the best thing we had. The Philly egg rolls aren't pictured either, but they were good as well. If you're looking for a good time, this is the place. It's not boogie at all. LOL read more

Visited this place in Tampa and absolutely loved the vibe , family friendly atmosphere, with turn up! The Dj and staff were very inviting! The food was delicious however the wait time was a little long! Once we got our food the waitress didn't come back to check us until we were ready! I still will love to visit this place again the shrimp deviled eggs & fried fish was amazing! My friends had the oxtails and one had the lamb chops also said their food was great! read more

The vibes, the food, the portion-size, service -- 10/10! Everything tasted sooooo good, the place is nice (make a reservation beforehand), they give you just enough food to fill you up. The fried chicken was so crunchy and still falling off bone! The greens --- best greens i've ever had and the mac cheese was amazing. The service was great, we didn't have to wait very long and once we got our food it was worth whatever the amount of time we waited for it. Highly recommend!!!! read more
Was able to get in a get a table for 5 right after they opened. If we'd arrived a little later we would've had to wait, because it got busy quick. Nice vibe, nice staff. I have a shrimp allergy and they were so concerned about it they they initially refused to prepare a seafood dish for me, but I assured them I could eat all other seafood. I ordered the Lobster Mac n Cheese and a Mimosa flight. The Mac n cheese was delicious, but the grilled lobster tail was a little over cooked. The mimosas were delicious as well. I had a taste of my friend's grits and they were so creamy and flavorful, that I almost ordered a side of it. 1 in our party ordered chicken & waffles, and her wings were fried a little too hard for her liking, but everything else was tasty. The music playing was at a decent volume and we didn't have to yell to speak to one another and we could hear from one end of the table to the other. That was really appreciated. We tried to go back Sunday before we got on the road, but decided late and the line was a tad long out the door. read more

I went to Table 22 for brunch with my family reunion.. Music playing and plenty of tables for our family. It is very nice inside with pictures of music stars and African art . Our waitress, Kamri was very patient with us. For an appetizer, I ordered deviled crabs to share with my table. Very good. For my entree, I got the oxtails and grits which were tasty. My family really enjoyed themselves. I'm sure the coordinator of the reunion was extremely happy and when the family comes into town, they will visit Table 22. read more
After hearing positive reviews from friends, we added Table 22 as a stop on our Tampa itinerary. Boy oh boy was that a mistake. Our hotel was in Ybor City, so it took a little over 20 min uber ride to get there. The place is located in a strip mall and is decent looking inside. I love the photos of entertainers around the restaurant. Sadly, I cannot give a honest review on this places food because all we had was water! This place requires a credit card on file to make a reservation. When I make a reservation and a restaurant requires a credit card, im expecting top service and to be seated immediately. We were seated immediately but it took 30 mins just to get water. After we got the water, the waitress disappeared and never came back to our table. She did visit the table next to us but never acknowledged us. Never said someone will be with you shortly...nothing. After waiting another 15 mins, we walked out. I wouldn't visit here ever again. Customer service is super important to me and this place maybe want to consider upping theirs. read more
We went to check out this brunch spot on a Saturday. I got the margarita flight as a starter. I had to send it back because it was so sweet. The second time wasn't as bad but its not something i would order again. We had 1:30 reservations and adhered to it for the most part. Maybe a couple mins after but still good. Food: I had the philly cheese egg roll. 3/5. Greasy but good flavor Oxtail with cheesy grits: 3/5 i likes the grits. 3/4 of my meal was oxtail fat or bones which annoyed me. It tasted good when i did find meet so it was disappointing i couldn't enjoy it the way it was intended. I already sent the margarita back and didnt want to be "one of those people " so i ate around the fat and bones. Cornbread: DRY Vibe: great vibes. Would come back for that. Good DJ As someone who isnt from tampa i wouldn't come back again read more
Table 22.. I made reservations. We had a seat almost immediately once everyone in our group arrived. The place is a whole vibe The DJ was smooth. The drinks were good. I enjoyed the apps... The most was the salmon egg rolls...a must have Grab a girlfriend & vibe at Table 22 read more
