My first time trying table 22. I'm all for supporting blackowned businesses. We didn't wait long for a table. It did take some time for something to drink. We ordered the French toast with lobster. My French toast was burnt, my husband's was perfectly made. When you flipped my French toast over it was completely burnt. The lobster was over cooked, very dry and tough. Overall I learned my lesson on this dish, not to order it again. It wasn't worth $32. I ordered the mimosas very good. It came with Strawberry, mango, cherry mimosas. The atmosphere was great but the Waitress "Tootie" was horrible. Apparently, she wanted to go in with the other waitress for our table of 11. The other half of our table with the other waitress got their food and ate. Our side with "Tootie", did not get our food. We ordered at 3:40pm and at 5:33pm we still had no food. We knew something was wrong when she had to come back to us and ask for our order again. Three of us cancelled their order due to time. Then Tootie had the nerve to try to charge one for a frozen drink that she didn't get. When she told her she did not get the drink she looked at her like, "you didn't get your drink?" She should know this because she is the waitress and normally the waitress is the one who goes to the bar to get the drinks. You try your best to support black businesses but when you get this on the first visit, it makes it hard. First things first, aesthetically from the outside I was Skeptical however, walking inside it was absolutely surprisingly cute! Next, if you don't have Sade as your waitress just leave with our party of 9 she was patient, attentive and didn't miss a beat! The entire group Was impressed with Sade and her service! I was in tampa with friends and stumbled upon this place. It was a pleasant surprise for a brunch spot. When we arrived they had a long line and everyone who was already inside seemed to be enjoying their food and the cool vibes of the place. We didnt have much of a wait because the friendly staff welcomed us with open arms and great attitudes. I was just as a child in the candy store because the food was really good. Mac and cheese was on point and a decent size serving. Wings were really good (lemon garlic and the other flavor that i cant recall). First time going to table 22. Went with my wife and niece for brunch. Walking in was a vibe on its own, very clean and comfy. Once we got there we were greeted from everyone we encountered with nothing but smiles and hospitality. Our drinks were on point my wife had the sangria, niece mimosas that were different flavors excellent!!! I had Malibu with pineapple. There are no words for the food accepted phenomenal who ever the chef is God bless and continue to bless their hands. No extra seasonings needed. Great place to go with friends, fam, date. Let's not forget the music not too loud just perfect. Will definitely go again and recommend anyone to visit. read more

Tried this place and unfortunately my food experience was not where it was at. I ordered the corn beef hash with 2 eggs on the side (eggs scrambled hard w/ cheese) Im guessing they mixed it up my order came with no cheese and the hash was burnt to a crisp. Naturally I send it back only to be provided the same plate just the hash chopped and my cheese on the eggs that added. First off, the food is amazing. There are plenty of options to choose from to satisfy both savory and sweet cravings. The chicken and French toast was so delicious! Restaurant accepts walk-ins but I highly recommend making reservations. I walked in on Sunday at 1:45 pm and there were no tables available. The hostess was not friendly or helpful. I requested a table for 2 and was told it would be a one hour wait. There is no where to wait inside so we waited in the car. One hour passed and they never called. So at 3:15, I called and was told it would be another hour. I told her to please call me when the table is ready or at the very least provide an update on the status of the wait time. I never received a call. So at 4:15 pm, we left. It was truly a waste of a Sunday afternoon. For future, they should not advertise they accept walk-ins. I would have preferred if the hostess was honest and stated that they were booked and seating may take up to 3 hours. I did not try the food so I am unable to provide feedback but the customer service was lacking and I will not return. Customer service is key to success and they came up short. My husband recommend we stop by after seeing a post on facebook. The place wasn't busy so the food came pretty fast however it was not hot. For our entrée we order the 3pcs Chicken Dinner w/mac& yams, the wings weren't far from being burnt & were crunchy so 3/10, the mac & cheese were so good 10/10 & the Yams were mid & little cool so 4/10. I also order a side of greens ($8) they were a tad bit salty, but i did enjoyed the little kick of spice so 6/10. I also tried the ($12) chicken devil eggs 4/10 nothing you couldn't make at home but better. We also order a waffle side ($8) since i couldn't decide on the chicken & waffle dinner or the chicken entree, the waffle was good so 6/10. I enjoyed the music but i can't say that im dying to go back soon. I was very disappointed with my $90 bill since we split a entree however our billed was still $90. i was charge $3 for mac & yam which i was told came with the $25 Chicken entree, a 3% service fee of $2.16, plus i tipped the waitress $5 not knowing that they take out 10% gratitude so $10 nor did she say anything after confirming our order & telling us our total. She just handed him the iPad on the Tip screen. I requested a receipt right away to confirm the total once i saw the $90 total. i couldn't believe that such a meal could be $90. Went for a birthday brunch, I had heard and read such great things. I was disappointed and left hungry. We ordered the winter menu drinks that were good and the deviled eggs with the chicken on top they tasted good but presentation was a bit off with one nice piece of chicken on all of them and them chicken crumbs just one. I ordered hash and over medium eggs- the eggs were well overdone and brown and one was yolk was cracked. The waitress politely asked if I wanted it remade, she came out with a plate to take the eggs back to the kitchen I waited until just before my husbands oxtail and grits were almost done to get my still overcooked eggs. They say the hash is from scratch but honestly it tasted liked canned hashed hooked up with a bit of cut potatoes and onions. Ordered chicken and waffles for my son the strawberries that were cut on top already started to ferment because they were not fresh. They ran out of bacon, they switched up the lobster Mac and cheese it no longer comes with shrimp... overall the music was cool The ambience was nice though service was OK but it seems like this place has had a downturn in quality of food. The food was good once we got it. We watched a server go from table to table as if he did not know who to take food to. They need to make sure the servers know this. Our food was given to another table near us and we had to wait for our food to be prepared again. Our waitress was very nice when she explained what happened with our food. I thought it was illegal to have vapor smoking in restaurants and we noticed at least three tables with this happening. Watch your ticket before you check out because they put the gratuity on the check. I put a comment about all this on their Instagram page and it was deleted. So it appears that if you put anything negative on their page it will be deleted, which to me is a red flag. You have to be able to take constructive criticism had improve in those areas. I think the place has potential, but we will not be back after all this. Hopefully, they will improve in the areas we noticed where things were lacking. read more
