It was my first time visiting a few months ago and was pleasantly surprised with the farm fresh products and locally made goods. Some vendors have food available like chinese pretzels, Hawaiian chili pepper water, and fresh baked goods. Maui Ono Donuts is also posted up in the parking lot and dishing out their old fashioned cake donuts. I perused some of the vendors and ended up buying a handmade apron made from Hawaiian bark cloth as a gift. I also got some donuts for the road. There's a good variety here if you're in the Kihei area and want to support some local businesses.

There's live entertainment, arts and crafts, food, baked goods, and produce... locally made and grown items. I purchased some butter mochi from one of the vendors and we chatted with the business owners sharing with us some tips on places to visit. They mentioned how rare for this side (South Kihei) to get flash floods so the heavy rains that happened yesterday was just a freak incident. Oh, the butter mochi was delicious! We ate it the next day at the airport while waiting for our flight. We also purchased some produce. Everything from avocados, papaya, and mango to carrots, lime, and tomatoes were sold here. Hubby loves papaya and he was excited to find some here. Everyone's so friendly. We also enjoyed the local band... even gave us a shout out "visitors from California." If you happen to catch Maui Ono Donuts food truck there... make sure you try their donuts! Ko Mahiai Makeke means farmers market in Hawaiian. Review #2724

The venue is beautiful and have plenty of space. We were seated towards the back so it a bit more difficult to pay attention and hear. The show was decent but it didn't start until later and it was paced out pretty slow. The whole event seems to be longer than needed.. from 4:30-8ish but it was nice to experience sunset here. Food was actually decent. A lot of places are ayce but this was family-style. Service was great and they kept refilling our food to make sure we're never empty. The short ribs were the best. Poke was good and simple, fish was a bit dry, salad was refreshing, but fruits were surprisingly not as sweet as I thought it would be in Maui. It's also aycd at the bar but the cocktails were very sweet. I learned to just order shots. They also have coffee and tea available. They had a cool tattoo and cute flower station too. Cool place to check out!

The ahí poke was my favorite, but they had beef, chicken, pork, fish, veggies galore, Ube bread, a wide variety of desserts, some delicious appetizers, and the list goes on! I will be back if I have more visitors.

We also chatted with a lovely couple who had just gotten married, and we helped them celebrate by gifting them a glass of bubbly and two bottles to take with them. The grounds are beautiful with several different seating areas surrounded by large mature trees. It was a cool and slightly cloudy day when we were there. It was a nice break from the hot muggy climate in the Kaanapali area. We were seated at one of those high tables on an outside patio area. Then, you order your wine or snacks at the tasting counter. Patio seating areas allow you to take in the lovely ambience of the property. I was nicely surprised to find some very good reds. I liked their 2022 GSM the best. Mele, a red blend was also good, a lighter red than the GSM. We later found Mele in local markets, making it an easy choice of a bottle of wine to buy and take back to enjoy at our hotel. Maui Wine will definitely be on my list for the next time we return to Maui.

Adequate ventilation and air conditioning, good assortment of cardio, weight machines, Smith machine, and free weights. Laundry room, including detergent and dryer sheets, are free to use. Three washers and three dryers available. There is a 1.5 mile ocean view path that connects the resorts, Shops at Wailea, and public beaches. Lots of people walking and running it. Lots of kids. There is an adults only pool in front of the spa, but it's not consistently heated and no ocean views. Free mineral sunblock at every towel station (SPF 30 and 50). We came after a big storm, and none of the water activities were available due to County brown water advisory. The rest of the resort fee activities were a nice add-on (e.g. smores at sunset, ukulele lessons, bingo, photography session). Cocktails were not great. Stick to the beer and wine. Breakfast buffet was good enough, but inconsistent and nothing exciting. Veggie fried rice was really good the first day, but lacked flavor the next day. Longans were a nice touch, but wasn't available every day (and no other specialty fruit replacement out of the ordinary selection). Ohana room (transition lounge) is available if you have a later flight and want to stay on property after checkout time of 11AM. Clean and has all the amenities needed to freshen up before a late flight. Includes a bathing suit spinner to dry it out for packing. All in all, they have everything you need for a Maui vacay.

The trail was very clean so the one abandoned rusty tire near the end should probably be removed. Ray is an expert equestrian and has interesting stories and jokes to tell all along the way. Eddie is very personable and handles the admin of the ranch along with, as both Ray and Eddie like to joke, the weather. One thing that was little annoying was that as we were driving away Eddie approached us and rapped on our car window asking if we had remembered to take care of Ray. We did, she went back and gave Ray a tip, but we didn't have any cash or wallets with us during the ride because we were told that whatever we brought would have to go in the saddlebags anyway. We likened this rapping on the window as we were about to drive off to a waiter coming out in the parking lot to ask if we forgot to tip, or a valet rapping on the window as we were driving off to ask for the same. Eddie could have earned that tip for Ray if he had guided us out of the parking lot - we ended up scraping the rear bumper on the lava rocks that are directly behind where the cars line up to park.

Not like a garden you walk through with different plants and flowers. They have lots of things, though. There was a yoga session happening in the middle lawn area. They have a butterfly area, even though the butterflies were somewhere else. There is an aging tortoise, I forget his name. There are also different businesses in the buildings, like a spa and a salon. There are different small vendors with their booths and several food trucks; although, some were not open in the morning and the Thai food truck had all their items sold out on their menu already. The prices were even more pricier than the food trucks at Maui Food Trucks. One vendor had hand crafted desserts for $20/piece! I admired from afar, haha. Everything is advertised as "farm to table" maybe justifying their prices. We shared an acai bowl and it was mid. The the peanut butter was just scraped on the side of the bowl. Our typical acai bowls at least put the peanut/almond butter in the middle like any other topping so you can get an even bite with everything. But the dallop of peanut butter just on the side, it was like we ordered peanut butter on the side of our acai bowl. It was weird. I bet it's more alive at night with more food trucks open and live music. We came and saw and didn't come back. I can see how it can be great for families with toddlers running around, giving them a safe space to burn their energy. Until then, this probably won't be the top of our list.
