I'm not here to tell you what type of rice milling equipment they use- because one: I don't know and two: I won't pretend I know because this is all new to me. What I do well is- is how to cook commercial rice I get from my local supermarket. With a natural, light color wood and modern design in mind, it's also serene as Japanese instrumental music played in the background. All these details made me feel relaxed. Rice F. makes it super easy for you to select the type of rice and how much you want it milled. The entire process was an eye-opener. I chose the 100% white rice- and I get it- at this point of the milling process, most (or all) of the nutrients are stripped. If you're not coming here for the milled rice (I mean...why wouldn't you?), Rice F. also stocks tableware supplies, small ceramic serving ware and a complete range of these delicious rice crackers which I got my hands on to try, a can of Japanese sardines and of course, a 2lb bag of milled white rice. Service was incredibly pleasant and patient as one of the ladies took the time to explain how to cook Japanese rice. For all your rice needs- and a little beyond, Rice F. is your spot.
