I just sat here for over 2 hours waiting for an oil change on my truck and they tell me to drop the trailer and pull it up to bay 2 then they come and tell me they can't do oil changes on my diesel truck. Place was clean and friendly and is conveniently located off I-30.

This place is fairly large. It is located right off of I-30 so it's easy to get to however getting out of the parking lot is a royal pain. It's on the corner of one of the busiest intersections. I like the fact that it has a starbucks inside so I can get gas and a coffee it's just not worth the headache of trying to get out of the parking lot. I usually will bypass this stop and go somewhere a little less crowded and more convenient to get in and out of. read more

Went to Starbucks on the way back into Houston with my daughter. I stood to the left near the food case near the blonde, who was talking to the other employee, a young guy. Since she never spoke we went to the other counter area. The man watched us walk over to him and then waited till I was standing in front of him for him to tell me to go back to the blonde ,the original person that was ignoring us. As we placed our order her cell phone rang. She showed the guy who directed us to her, that her phone was ringing. He gritted his teeth and said answer it and ask who is it. The blonde, frazzled, answered the phone. The blonde kept arguing with the guy about answering the phone. The guy steadily talking in her ear. A worker from Burger King came in to help and asked if she was ok. Obviously we were in the middle of a domestic dispute, while five other customer stood behind us. The guy made my drink and the girl heated my daughter's food slung it across the counter, as my drink was being made. As the guy handed my daughter my drink and we walked off he loudly declared for us to come again in a loud sarcastic voice. Obviously professionalism is not something these employees practice. Since the employee was attempting to embarrass me, I responded back for him to handle his personal business on his own time and not on the customer's time. read more

Not the best TA, or the biggest. Got stuck here for 3 days and I couldn't have asked for a better place to be off duty. The truckstop is around a lot of stuff. One day we took a lyft to the city and Walmart, the others we walked to the many shopping plazas right by the truckstop. If u don't mind walking, there is a lot of variety restaurants within walking distance and stores to get out and do something. Inside there isn't much food selection, hardly any hot food grille items and only a Starbucks and Burger King so u probably won't want those over and over. A decent place to stop. Worst mechanics ever seen,took my truck in to replace a sensor which it only takes 20 minutes to do,but it took them a hole week they broke the part where the sensor goes and then they put my truck aside and work on other trucks this guys are not mechanics I wouldn't take my truck back in there not even for an oil change it would come out worst don't take a chance they suck and then to make things worst the Burger King frier was not working at that time.it sucks honest thruth. read more

Pretty basic TA, smaller than most because of there not being a Country Pride here, but there's a Burger King and a Starbucks. I'd personally rather have a Dunkin Donuts, and not one of those crappy self serve ones, but that's the northerner in me speaking. Anyway, it's got a decent sized truck lot, but lots of reserved parking. Trust me, you'll wanna reserve a spot if you plan on getting here after 6-7PM. $13 the day of or $11 24 hours in advance, if you know your schedule. There's quite a bit within walking distance, restaurants and stores, so you won't be bored. Bathrooms aren't terrible, but they're not the cleanest either. Just don't expect too much and you'll be fine. read more

Convenient location on I-30 but OFTEN has non working pumps. I hate using this station. Exxon should pull their license. EZ on/off I-30 for Eastbond ONLY. Westbound exit okay but getting back onto west I-30 is extremely difficult and dangerous trying to cross 4 lanes of feeder. Avoid it if you can. read more

I work 2min from this Starbucks location and I live 4 min away. I never stop here ever because I do not have high expectations for this Starbucks. However they proved me wrong today. This was my 3rd stop before I could get my cup of black coffee. I was a Starbucks manager for 11 years. I left 8 months ago.. I went to the one in Kroger and their water was down and they closed. The one in target was my second visit and they no showed and closed. I was pissed at this point and was mad that my husband didn't get more coffee for the house. I walked into this location and I didn't receive any smiles or did anyone act like they cared about their job. However I received a decent cup of coffee that wasn't the best but they delivered it in a timely manner. It was clean in the restaurant, and I got what I needed and I got out. For that I give them props. They had to deal with a very rude and inconsiderate man that was in front of me and that could be why they were not smiling. They did not have any leadership in the store and that could have added to this. I give them a good review because they did what I needed Them to do in a timely manner and I appreciate that. I tipped then five dollars. I will also return to this location and only this location. Next time maybe smile a little more, just because that one man was rude does that mean that everyone deserves that type of service. However I do understand that Rockwall has a few jerks here and there. Not everyone is like that though. Appreciate the fact that you have a job and put a smile on your face. Thank you! read more
