Three, I am happy to have Mechanics that do not underestimate me because I am female. The biggest thing that has made me a full time customer is how honest these guys are. Both my Transmissions have been replaced by them. I have had my spark plugs replaced which with my vehicle they have to jack up the engine. I have had all four tires replaced by them and I get my oil changed by them every 5k miles. With my new vehicle, I do the in-between oil change with them. Dealers/Manufacturer says my new ride can go 10k miles in-between oil changes, but I am not comfortable with doing that. Dealer does every 10k... they do the one at 5k, (so yeah I am getting an oil change every 5k). Their prices are fair and reasonable, and the service is second to none. Paul, Randy, and the rest of the crew will take care of you. They will tell you what is wrong with your vehicle and tell you what you should fix right away and what you can hold off on. I recommend these guys to everyone in the area. If you want honest, hard working, professional, and personable, this is the auto repair place for you.

You probably could've been a little smarter about it, but I have a tendency to trust people And we later found out halfway home that the air conditioner didn't work and it cost me $550 to get that fixed. When we took it for a test drive there was a noise coming from the wheels and Mike the salesman said that was just rust on the rotors and once it wore off that would be fine and that was another lie, Carr had something wrong with the ball joints and that was another $500 to fix that. The car had been inspected by somebody equally as crooked as they are and the tires were dry rotted and had to replace for another 500+ dollars altogether I spent over $1700 to get the car on the road because I have to have it inspected in another state. When I called GM automotive and spoke to Mike I asked her to send me a check only for the air conditioning considering that he lied about it and he suggested that I drive back two hours to Bel Air and have their guy look at it and I thought is there guy, the criminal that passed the inspection for them too and I told him no and asked him to simply send me a check and I sent him a copy of the invoice and he could speak to mechanic as well if he liked, but they refused and they're criminals and they don't deserve to have honest customers that's for sure. Do not buy a vehicle from these people, don't be stupid like I was

They have an inventory of parts, and they even have a graveyard of old VW vans and beetles to pull parts from. My car simply wouldn't start. They towed it it and found some bad sensor that doesn't show up in the computer scan. Like every repair shop, they upsold me from there ... but at 125,000 miles, I know my car needs what they recommended. And it felt a lot peppier (after they cleaned a partially clogged intake) as I drove it off the lot this morning. This is a small shop, so you'll actually talk to, pay, and pick the car up from the guy who worked on it. It wasn't cheap - but it seemed reasonable. They were happy to explain all that was right and wrong with my car and exactly what they found when they had it torn apart. A friend at work has brought his older Jetta here several times, and had the same positive experience. Each time he brought it in for one thing, but they recommended a fixed a few other things, for a reasonable price, with very noticeable results. There are several reasons why I really like this place. 1) All they do is VW's---This leads me to believe that your V-dub will get looked at by someone who knows and has experience on VWs. 2) Down home friendly country folk. I came in shot-the-shit with the bossman for 45 minutes on a quieter afternoon. By the end, we were telling each other jokes. They answer all their phone calls and nothing goes to voicemail or queue. 3) Labor rates are way lower than the dealership. 4) They been around for a long time...how long? I'm not sure but looks like 15 plus years. What else do you need in a good VW mechanic? With that said, I spent a small fraction of what I expected or was willing to pay for my repair...because the mechanic didn't feel certain things I thought needed repairing at that time. Its nice to know that there is someone out there that isn't out to fleece you every time you come.

So, these guys keep their cars running by doing lots of work on them. Most reviewers don't seem to know what is their car's problem or what is entailed in repairing it. My experience: I mostly do work on my car, but occasionally want a pro to do some jobs. They don't seem to support the do-it-yourself car enthusiast as I thought they world. They seem to look down on this. I brought my car in for a cooling problem. They did work that didn't hold up. Brought it back in as they said they would fix the problem if it was their work that failed. After looking at my car they said it was a different problem from the one they had fixed, and wanted a lot more money to fix the supposed new problem. I said no and left as I was confident it was the original problem. Brought the car to the dealer and found out that it was the original work that had failed. Had dealer fix it at significant expense to me. Oh well, can't trust anyone anymore.
