Thinking that was very high, I stopped by Hampstead Auto and Tire and asked Tim to look over the brakes and give me an estimate. He called me and said there is nothing at all wrong with my brakes or rotors. In fact, he said I can most likely get 20,000 more miles out of the brake pads. So glad I had Tim check over my car. He will be doing all service on my car for now on!

I went to Mr. Tire in Hampstead, MD for an oil change and a flat tire repair. They overfilled the…read moreoil and repaired the flat, but didn't inflate the tire properly. Additionally, they did not reattach the undercarriage shield correctly, causing a loud vibration when I reached 55 mph. I had to take my car to another mechanic to identify the issue, and they found that Mr. Tire had not secured the undercarriage shield properly, leaving it misaligned and missing bolts. After contacting Mr. Tire, they agreed to issue me a refund but never followed through. I followed up multiple times, and each time they claimed it would show up in 5-7 days, but it never did. This was not the first issue I've had with Mr. Tire, but it will definitely be the last. Absolutely horrible service and company.

When I took the vehicle back to the shop to complain, one of the mechanics said "It's just grease, you can wipe it with a rag". As you probably know, you cannot wipe grease off a cloth interior with a rag. Also conveniently they said that they "didn't have any degreaser" and both the shop manager and the assistant shop manager were not there today. One woman who was there and seemed to be in charge of everyone else was helpful and took down my contact info and took photos to send to her supervisor. We will see if I can get this resolved but I have a feeling it will be a painful process. I will not be returning to this service center and I would not recommend this service center to anyone who cares about their car.
