At the time I was looking for a dedicated and educated dog lover who could dog sit for me while I travel. However I ended up finding just that and more! During my consult I felt like working with TFTJ would be a rewarding and positive experience so I signed my dogs up for the 6 week training program. Both of my dogs are adult aged but I like keeping them up to date on training and working on their proper mannerism and behavior. Both of my dogs need work on building confidence, impulse control, and general manners. I also have a dog with kanine OCD. Alyssa is very good at focusing on those specifics and working on them in our sessions. We are about half way through the program and it has been a great experience. My dogs love when they see their trainer Alyssa. They are overjoyed and having fun when they train with her. They've been able to work on training inside our home plus in the real world/public spaces. Not only are they learning but I am learning too. Training has also made me closer to my dogs, it's a bonding experience. My dogs are mentally stimulated and worn out after training because of all the stimulation and fun they're having. Both of my dogs have done great on social settings like at the mall, they watch people go by with no reaction. They both think before they act now, such as decreased door dashing and excessive barking. TFTJ is very dedicated to shaping your training to your needs. They're very flexible in scheduling and even offer payment plans. I am very happy to have met Alyssa and have enjoyed working with TFTJ.

I remember saying goodbye to him this morning, he was leaning on me and prancing around like he always does- he's very energetic. However, when we had got him back, he wasn't putting an ounce of his weight on his back right leg. He wasn't really standing up to walk around, which is strange for a dog who usually can't sit still. Something had obviously happened to our dog at this groomer. But when we asked, the staff denied any issue. They even said he was particularly easy for his nail trim, something I immediately knew was a white lie because my dog can't sit still for nails. I don't care who's doing them. We wanted to know what had happened because my fiancées a vet tech, we just wanted to know how to treat it. We didn't even ask for a refund, we simply wanted to help our dog. Yet they wouldn't stop lying directly to my and my fiancées faces. Not only did they not have the competence to clean and watch my dog for a few hours, they are completely unwilling to be straightforward and honest with their clientele. If you care about your dog, these are the last people you should be trusting with them.

STAY AWAY!!! You've been warned…read more Here's what happened to us.... 1. NEVER CALLED BACK. When I arranged to have my dog (Milo) stay with Crystal we began talking through logistics but then she had to jump off and she said she'd call me right back. A couple of days later, after not hearing back from her, I called her again. She said she remembered me and tried calling me back but, "must have had the wrong number". Not sure how she could have had the wrong number when your phone shows "recent calls". 2. NO DOG TOYS. No dog toys in sight, inside or outside. 3. WENT RADIO SILENT. I heard from her on Sunday at 9:49am. After not hearing from her on Monday, I texted her on Tuesday at 1:58pm, No word back. I texted again on Wednesday at 8:08am. Still silence. I then texted her later that morning at 11:10am, left a voicemail at 11:43am, sent an email at 11:48pm, and a FB message around that same time. Lastly, I left her a missed call an hour later at 12:43pm. To summarize, I sent 3 texts, called 2x, and sent an email and FB message after not hearing from her in nearly 3 days. (She claimed I didn't give her time to get in touch with me because I only sent the email and FB message 1 hour prior to us connecting via phone. However, that disregards all of the texts and calls I made in an attempt to reach her before that.) 4. ONLY PICKED UP WHEN I CALLED FROM ANOTHER NUMBER. 5. CLAIMED SHE NEVER GOT MY TEXTS, VOICEMAIL, OR MISSED CALLS. When we did connect, she claimed she never received any of my texts, my voicemail, or my missed call. I believe she doesn't realize that the iphones show when texts have been delivered. 6. YELLED AT ME FOR THE MAJORITY OF OUR CALL. 7. WRONGFULLY CLAIMED I DEMANDED MILO SIT ON SOMEONE'S LAP FOR 2 WEEKS STRAIGHT. Not only did I never request he be in someone's lap 24/7 for two weeks, but that wouldn't even be feasible... I told Crystal that Milo is most comfortable with people and loves sitting on laps and shared how I hoped he could get some lap time at her place since he gets scared easily. That statement's far from demanding he sit on a lap for 2 weeks straight. 8. WRONGFULLY CLAIMED I ACCUSED HER OF NOT FEEDING MY DOG. This thought hadn't even crossed my mind. 9. LOST HER SH*T WHEN I ASKED FOR PICTURES, AFTER SHE TOLD ME I COULD ASK FOR PICTURES. When I dropped Milo off, she said, "He's your baby; if you want pictures of him, just text me!" I thought that was very kind. After she offered to share pictures with us, I texted her [at most] once a day to ask for a photo or video. Some days, I didn't ask at all. When she finally answered my phone (when I thought to use someone else's number) she then yelled at me and claimed I was demanding because I asked for photos. She said I was the most demanding customer she's had because when she offered to send me pictures, she hadn't wanted to send them almost daily, and it was my fault for asking for the photos... 10) CANCELLED ON US 1/2 WAY THOUGH DOG BOARDING LEAVING US STRANDED MID-VACATION. Our call ended with her telling me she wouldn't continue watching my dog because I was demanding (demanding of what? I still don't know... I guess for requesting the photos that she offered to send) and that I needed to have someone pick my dog up. This led me to scramble and have to find someone at the last minute to get my dog and then care for him just as the holidays are about to start.

My Rottweiler was immediately very receptive. The structure, the material, and the plans set for us gave us the consistency and confidence I needed to train him. Because of the unique methods and tools used based on the superior experience of the extraordinary team at Got Your Back K9 Life training became an instant success, and we accomplished remarkable results within a short period of time. George analyzed Grogu's personality, which the Got Your Back K9 Life team based the training on my 8-month-old Rottweiler should receive. All the various training methods are explained and demonstrated in a way that is easy to understand, implement and practice. In closing I would like to emphasize that the training Grogu and I received saved us from injury and liability at a recent altercation in a dog park where Grogu stayed sit (based on my "stay sit" command) despite being charged by a smaller dog several times. Again thank you so much for all you do to keep dogs and their owners safe, George and the entire Got Your Back K9 Life team!
