They conceived a way to run the line sets internally within the existing internal duct work. The install required out of the box thinking and we did have challenges with the condensation lines. The mark of a good team is how well they communicate with one another and how they respond timely when given curve balls. They were professional, able to diagnose the condensation line issue and my system is now running beautifully. The team worked well together and operated with integrity. Don Kruse has done work for us on 2 occasions on a home in Oroville. I do not recommend this firm…read morefor the following reasons: 1. Untimely performance. On both occasions, the job "fell through the cracks" and ended up taking over a month to complete an hour's work. 2. Poor communication. They don't adequately set or meet expectations regarding performance and do not respond routinely to emails or voicemails. I had to call them repeatedly to find out why work wasn't getting done. 3. Unfair and unreasonable pricing. Our most recent bill was $275 to reroute a circuit (which was a less than ideal solution, as it required a new breaker, but they didn't have the breaker on hand) and to install 1 GFCI outlet. 2.5 hours' time charged at $85 per hour, plus parts, for work that should have cost half that amount. Kruse apparently thinks they are "the only game in town" so they take advantage. And, they may be right -- which is why they can get away with it. From our experience, most of the contractors out that way are either useless or are crooks, so Kruse may actually be better than most. Which is sad.

After the heater did not go on after sitting for a year I called Danny. He blamed it on everything and everybody but himself. There was not even a screw where there was supposed to be in order to lock the heater on the wall. Plus there were 2 holes in the wall behind the heater, one quite large. He said he had been installing these heaters for 30 years. I don't think Envi heaters have been around that long. Maybe they should actually READ the instructions. Won't use this business again.

No more leaks and overpriced plastic parts that can only be replaced by the Kinetico dealer. I went with a 3M whole house water filter recommended by Ben, with all new copper plumbing and a new pressure regulator. I can change the water filter myself, which is recommended to do least once a year. I am confident of the new system and no longer worried about another Kinetico part failure. The 3M water filter recommended by Ben at Patriot Plumbing lead to immediate improvement in our water quality. No more chlorine taste or smell. This system uses a carbon block filter that works better for us than the water softener. I will use Patriot Plumbing again if and when needed.
