But somehow we missed Nordstrom Rack.It was 102 today when we entered the store located in the upscale Riverwalk Shopping Center. I liked Nordstrom the minute I felt the cool AC. Nordstrom is a large, open store featuring quality merchandise We looked in a lot of travel departments In all those stores. Nordstrom hands down had the largest selection of luggage sets, brand names many different sizes soft and hard cases most with the desired spinners. I was impressed. We were done no more shopping anywhere else or on Amazon. We easily decided on the Travel Pro brand, it had excellent reviews my set is grey my wife picked out a black set. Great price a friendly Andrew checked us out and explained the generous return policy. I didn't shop except for luggage I'll return after our vacation Check this store out.

This Nordstrom Rack has plenty of inventory it just happens to be average, overpriced items that can be found at the TJ Maxx right next door or somewhere between Marshalls and Kohls. Today was probably one of the few times that I actually was looking for a pair of shoes and they happen to be some hocus I don't believe Nordstrom Rack does price matching when they add their stickers to their products but a lot of their products are overpriced whether something is on sale or not is debatable. Today I was looking for On clouds or Hokas for my upcoming trip. The Nordstrom Rack usually has comparable prices to online at the on store or even the Hoka store but after researching several items including the one in the pictures below there's no reason to shop at Nordstrom Rack anymore, instead shop online and save 10 to 20%. I really do understand sales price meaning Hoka can run better sales in most cases as the manufacturer but most items are overpriced in Nordstrom Rack. Ralph Lauren polo shirts two to three years old are still running $70 even more expensive than the outlet price, basically Nordstrom Rack is overpriced in my opinion and this one in Bakersfield has given me reason to continue to go.

I remember the first time wearing my first Skechers shoe. It was 23yrs ago and at the time, Skechers had just recently come out a few years before that, so wearing Skechers was cool haha. Now, you see more people wearing them and it's not about being cool to me... yes, you're still cool, but Skechers has one of the most comfortable shoes. They have several shoes that have memory foam and they have a wide variety of shoes that come in wide feet. My younger son likes to get his shoe here because he has wide width feet and he can always find something for himself here. The Skechers outlet has a little more perks versus the Skechers store and I believe they have more deals and more discounted shoes here. What I like about this particular store is that all the workers are always helpful. If you're looking for a particular shoe that isn't on the floor, then they will go out of their way to check if it's in stock. Yes, that is their job, but these workers always make sure you're taken care of. This store is also nice because it always stays clean and it's really organized. Some days, you'll find the workers popping popcorn for their customers. I think it's cool since kids get tired from looking around and this gives them something to snack on while they look around.

The rompers on the left had prints, were sleeveless and were originally priced $34.99. The rompers directly to the right were also sleeveless, solid print and originally priced $34.99. The signage was directly over the rompers on the right and read, sleeveless rompers $18 originally priced $34.99 discount taken at the register. Well, the rompers on the right were $18 and the rompers on the left were $20.99. I still got one of each. I've encountered so much frustrations with their signage in the past, that I typically price check every item before I go to the line to check out. No respect, no options to remedy the situation. Heck, give a girl a clipboard and there was no stopping the humiliation I received, in front of all the customers. Instead, they told me they "aren't allowed" to change the mannequin's size for a whole month. The manager, Melina, actually confirmed this policy. Seriously? They'd rather lose a sale than switch out a sweater? It was a ridiculous and lazy response. After wasting my time, I left without buying anything. If American Eagle is going to insist on keeping mannequins dressed in medium sizes for display only while the racks are full of nothing but smalls, then what's the point?
