There is some bad reviews on here about this place. I was there today and my experience was great. I had a mani and deluxe pedi. My technician was Juliette. She is sweet and does a great job. I was there for 2 hours and 15 min. I got there just at opening up time, which was 9 am. First of all when you go to these kinda places please make sure you have the time. Yes you have to wait sometimes and yes for awhile at times. If you don't like it you may go some place else. Also the owners are not rude. They are from a different country trying to live the American dream. Give people a break.PLEASE! I will definitely go back. I have been there lots of times. read more

Keith and Tiffany are wonderful people and great at what they do! The staff is amazing as well. They do mani, pedi and eyebrows. It's the only place I'll have my nails done. Prices are great as well. read more

Really sad right now. I have been going to T-Nails since before the renovation. I had been seeing Lan. While the renovations are gorgeous, sadly the service by "the owner & his wife", do not meet the facade. (They also change the prices @ will), one week a service is this price and next time a couple weeks later, the price goes up) Nickel & dime stuff. I consistently would have an appointment with Lan for gel nails & a pedicure which I called in and made with the owner. A few times, she was a little behind but nothing I couldn't live with, she was worth the wait. I called today & was informed that Lan had quit. I work in nursing and need to keep my nails in acceptable fashion. I went ahead and, with the owner made an appointment anyway. He knows who I am & I asked him to pick the best person for me, as I only knew Lan. He said, OK, come in for your appointment. i arrived at the salon, on time. The owner said it was to hard to pick a person for me, so I could pick, or just take whoever was up next. I said, OK, I'll just take whoever is up next as to me that seemed what was fair. In the meantime, 4 women had come in, who apparently had gift cards and were not regulars. They sat down in their pedicure chairs while I was picking out my color. I found my way to my chair, & waited 5 minutes with my socks off & my pants rolled up, before someone came and turned the water on for my bowl. It was screaming hot, and I could not put my feet in it, the owner saw the steam coming up from the bowl & came over and cooled it down & turned on the jets. There were only about 4 techs working, save the owner & his wife, who have never done my nails. I figured whenever the next tech is done I'm up, because I had an appointment, now, it's 2:30.......a nail tech walked over to one of the 4 women and started to work on her, I leaned to the woman next to me and asked if they were all together and if they had appointments? She said yes we are all together but no appointments. I asked the owner what was going on and reminded him that I had a 2 pm appointment. He said, with no sense of urgency, "just a couple of minutes'. I work in nursing and have very little free time. I have also referred many people to this salon & Lan, which the owner was well aware of. I decided to leave and express my dissatisfaction on my way out. The owner, saw me putting on my shoes to leave and frankly didn't care. I guess he feels that they have enough business that one regular doesn't matter. That kind of thinking and arrogance will be his end.....may not happen today or tomorrow, but customer service is built, ONE customer at a time. I have had friends that I have gone there with & they had told me, they would never go back because of the way they treat people, but, I kept going.........well no more....... Take my review for what it is worth........information, nothing else. read more

I decided to try this place since it's close to home. Bad idea bc my gel nail polish was chipping within 3 days. I was told over the phone I can get it fixed anytime with no charge yet I went today and the lady that did my nails said since I came a week after they charge to fix it. Even though I was told other wise over the phone and they were closed for 2 days bc of Labor Day and I was unable to come before the 7 days. Never going back again. I will make the drive to go to Cindy's nails on hwy 42 with Tony from now on. read more

My sister and I got pedicures today, and the technician was careless enough to cut a hunk of meat out of the side of her big toe with the skin grating instrument. She didn't apologize for what happened. The owner raised his voice, was very rude and still charged her full price for the horrible service. He blamed it on my sisters skin not being able to handle the cuticle softener... the same softener that's always been used when we've gotten our feet done. No one even said sorry when we just wanted him to ask her to be more careful. I'd think again before using their services. I won't be going back. read more

T-Nails - This is what happens at this salon. The owner didn't apologize, raised his voice and still charged full price for his technicians mistake. - Nail Salons Near Me - Clayton, North Carolina

I have gone here multiple times and received okay service. My pedicure today was nice, but the person I was with said her's was too rough and not at all relaxing. In addition, when I first entered the establishment I asked if they did eyebrow tinting and was told yes. After my pedicure was finished, I asked to get my eyebrows tinted. I was told to go to the waxing room and when she entered the room I explained that my natural brow color is pretty light so I wanted them tinted to either a light brown or darker blonde. The technician said okay and told me to lie down. She immediately began applying hot wax and stripping my eyebrows....She then said I was finished. Shocked, I asked about her tinting them and she looked at me and said, "We don't do that here." Glad she told me that after applying hot wax to my eyebrows, ripping off most of my natural brows, and crafting usually thin (unnatural) ones in their place. read more

Thank you ladies, excellent quality Mani-pedi, relaxing, great atmosphere, good relaxing music playing. Why anyone would give these guys less than a 5, I couldn't imagine why. I went to school many ,many moons ago for cosmetology and nails, these ladies are professional to the tee. Thank you again for a wonderful relaxing afternoon! read more

I paid $75 for gel liquid and polish and they barely lasted 2 weeks 3 of my nails have popped at the bottom near my cuticle

Horrible rushed service. Probally the worst my nails have ever looked or felt. Don't waste your money.

Been going here since they opened and have NEVER once had a bad experience. They do tend to be very busy on certain days but I try to go on the days and times when they are not as busy. It's always nice also they offer a cold drink while you get your service and the owners actually work as well even with small children at foot when it gets very busy. read more

Rude and rushed welcome. Grinded my nails down from the front instead of clipping them. Knicked my skin down into the nail bed this way. At first I thought it was just an accident, then he did it a second time on the next finger. After the third knick/ burn, I got up and left. Will not return and don't recommend. read more

I went to this salon and I go often actually. Today I went to get a nail design and I came early. I was told there was no time to do the simple design I asked for. Moving forward the previous week I had my nails done there and love the design. However, when I asked the young lady that did the design to do it another for me she laird and said she didn't remember doing the design. I know this was a blatant lie because she was so amazed at the design that I chose and made several comments on just how much she liked it. Which really made me up set. To top it all off I get home after sitting in there for 2 hours and one if my to nails is ruined. I will say that usually I love this place but after today I'm never going back. In my opinion when doing a service, you much pride yourself on consistently executing the job. I hat to do this bad review but I was really upset. And I'm going to have to go back tomorrow to get my toe fixed !! read more

This place was horrible!! Called to make an appointment, got there the lady was very rude. Waited over 30 min and while I was waiting they were taking other people???? The lady who is also the owner put my nails on extremely fast then proceeded to tell me she could not do my nails because I did not tell them on the phone I wanted a basic pink ombré. She then has some man finish what she started and he AIRBRUSHED THE OMBRÉ ON BECAUSE SHE WAS RUDE AND DID NOT WANT TO. BUT SHE "Tiffany" the Owner could take the other lady who knew her name in a hurry. The nails weren't that bad so I didn't complain. But I'm now writing this review because they were EXTREMELY hard to get off and ruined my REAL NAIL and made them bleed. Extremely horrible place and extremely poor management and ownership. Very sad. Will NEVER return or recommend ever to anyone! And I hope the Owner sees this. Oh and btw she told me from the start ONLY SHE KNEW how to do ombré out of everyone there. Then let someone else airbrush it. This place is a joke. read more

This place used to be nice but the last 2 times I have had to wait for over 30 min. The worst part is the man who I assume is the owner did my pedicure both times. He rushes and is very rough. Today he cut my cuticle and caused my toe to bleed, didn't even apologize. I will NOT be going back read more

i feel like they rushed with everything I got my nails ,feet an eyebrows.my nails weren't that good and my feet was done within 12 mins very unprofessional read more

I went to the shop for a manicure, which I have been a few times. No wait time, but when I request a woman only service they become very rude! Which that seems to be a constant with the Owners. This place is HORRIBLE!!!!! this is my second time going and both times the experience has been unreal. The first time i left one finger bleeding and the other bandaged however the tech was nice so i thought i would give it another try bc they are super convenient and i was in a rush. I was having a repair so she puts the nail on crooked and when i tell her she yells "im not done" after she filed the crooked nail i advised her it is still crooked she then yells to me that I need to go some where else (instead of just straightening the crooked nail) I show her my other nail as an example and she yell's out "it ugly,it ugly" (the kicker is her husband was the last to shape my nails) lol so my response was ookkaaayyy so why cant u put my nail on straight again. She then said she's busy she has other customers and cut of the light at the lil desk. I suggested she receive some additional training so while i was going out the door she was STILL yelling and the funny thing is I never raised my voice talking to her. In the 20+ years ive been getting my nails done ive never met a more rude nail tech. read more

The girl who did my pedi did a good job but I probably will not return. The older guy who works there was kind of rude though. I went there with my mother in law and sister in law and after our toes were done we were sitting under the dryers. The old man just came out of no where and asked us in front of everyone if we tipped our people. We gave each girl a $6.00 tip and my mother in law paid for all of the pedi's. After we answered his question he continued to talk to one of the girls who did our toes and then again asked us if we tipped. I use to be a waitress so I know how important tips are and would never not tip. Shortly after we were asked again about tipping another girl came over and checked our toes and told us to go. It was down pouring outside and no one was waiting for the dryers so I find it rude to be kicked out. read more

I made an appointment for 10:00 today and its 11:01 and I am still waiting. This happens all the time and today was the last straw. I asked the owner why didnt you tell me she was behind schedule? I have been faithfully coming to this shop for years. You have me sitting here thinking I was next. This has happened last time. The wife, co-owner was rude and didnt care. She proceeded to tell me how long my appointments are and some how relating that to why the schedule can get behind. She will stop taking appointments on Sat for me. WHAT?!?!?! I told her I get the same thing every time. What does that have to do with how you guys schedule. Where is the "I am sorry ", in those statements. She then walked off. WoW, 5-years faithfully coming and this is what I get. I love my nail technician but I will no longer give my money to a merchant who has no concen for its customers and my time. They updated their shop but the same bad attitude, the wife that is. read more

It was all find and dandy, they do an excellent job on nails but there was a roach! As I was getting my nails done (shellac) and moving my hand in and out of the machine that drys the shellac all of a sudden an roach appeared on top of the machine sitting inches away from my hands. The machine itself was dusty and looked like it needed to clean anyway, luckily the young guy saw it and swatted onto the floor. I was very upset because I love this place but it should be no reason why a nail salon has roaches that close to the customers at that. I'm sorry but I won't be returning read more

I've been going to T-Nails for a few years. My last visit I saw 2 roaches. I will never go there again.

Not a good experience at all. As one customer pointed out, the kids were onsite and it felt like you were in daycare. also, the old guy charged for removing polish from a previous manicure. when did they start doing that??? i won't be back ever. read more

I have decided to not return to T-Nails for service. I have gone to T-Nails fairly regularly since 2008 and long before the recent renovation... During this 9-10 year period, the service was sometimes below par and I would not go as often but lately, the quality seems to be going down steadily. They are not as friendly and the service quality has dropped off. I was was a regular customer and I ALWAYS tip. The employees and the owners know this. Further, both owners know me. For the last 4-5 visits since November, I have noticed the nail specialist assigned to provide service to me whether by appointment or as a walk-in would be changed during and in the middle of the service to me. My visit to the salon last week was the tipping point. I did not have an appointment. Because most of the employees do good work it was okay to receive service from any of the available employees. Remember I have been a customer for almost ten years. I have received service from the the owner's wife previously, but because she rushes through her work she is not one of my favorites and she does not provide the best work for me. Over all, her quality is not as good as her employees. During my last visit, I was receiving a pedicure by the employee assigned. I assume the assignment was made by the owners. They can do this, it is their business. The owner talked strongly to the employee working on me and they switched. Out of the blue!! The service I was receiving was fine. I had no complaints. The service I received by the owner's wife was not good quality. Again before the pedicure was finished, owner's wife went into a long conversation with the employee in their native language and the employee working on me moved to another customer. The owner assigned herself to finish my pedicure and manicure. My nail (gel) job was not complete and the paint started to chip two days after the appointment. The cuticles are not smooth and are starting to peel. Today, the paint on other nails has peeled off. I will need to get another manicure within 7 days of my visit to T-Nails. But it will not be at T-Nails. If I were to go back, I have seen the owners not have a friendly attitude with customers requesting quality service or who have a complaint. In my opinion it is because of the poor quality. I have had manicures from T-Nails from some of the employees and the nail job lasted close to 3 weeks. What changed? I prefer to shop locally, but not where I am paying my hard earned money for poor quality and where the employees do not seem to be respected. They have lost my business permanently. I am writing this review after much reflection and know that it is the best decision for me. read more

I have acrylic tips on my nail, 9 fingers just have an overlay of acrylic. One I broke in the door. Anyway I went here 12 days ago, to get a fill. I made an appt earlier because i cracked my nail at work. I showed up on time, it was a pretty busy day all the pedi chairs were taken up. They told me to pick a color and I wait maybe 5 ish minutes. There were 2 kids about 5 & 4 who were the girls of one of the workers. They made the experience less enjoyable! I get they're kids, im a mom. But when I go to an appt without my children I want to be able to hear peace. They were running back and forth, asking The patrons to play on their cell phones. Just very loud, and were never asked to sit down. You could tell the other customers were annoyed as well. The older man did my fill. While filing with the electric file he burnt me several times, where I jerked my hand back. When he was done he put the clear polish on, and it bubbled up. I showed him andb he said it was a special polish that dries fast and it will fix itself. For the most part it has. A few bubbles are still there. Fast fwd to today 3 days before im due for a fill, and I have 4 broken nails! Never have I ever had so many nails break. They are literally chipping at the corners. 2 nails broke 1 week after the fill, 1 cracked. I tried to be careful but that one broke 2 days later. And then yesterday 1 broke while typing on the computer! My color looks horrible! And that special clear polish has peeled away from most of my nails. This has truly been the worst experience ever. I shoild have known to stay away after my last experience with them. 2 years my mom and I went in for mani/pedis. The same older guy doing my fill a week and a half ago took payment. He got mad and said we should have paid together since they get charged to use the credit card machine. That wasnt my problem! He told us next time we were to come in we paid on 1 card, not 2. Just a horrible place all together! read more

I had a horrible experience with this nail salon. I chose it because it is cheaper than other salons in my area, and now I know why. When I walked in, I wasn't kindly greeted, instead asked "what do you want?" and told, rudely, to sit in a chair. I waited for 45 minutes for someone to finally do my nails, and when the woman began, she didn't talk to me whatsoever. The only time she talked to me was when she asked who would be paying. She had horrible manners, then as she clipped my cuticles, she made me bleed multiple times. She then continued to pour alcohol and acetone on it, both of which burned immensely. I asked for a thin tip French mani, and she gave me an uneven thick white line. I thought that getting a simple manicure would be quick and easy, but it took an hour to finish nails that would have taken 25 minutes anywhere else. After all that, she gave no discount for the bleeding, and continued to ask for a tip. If you're thinking of using T-nails for it's cheap prices, please just pay the extra $5 somewhere else. With the tipping, you're paying the same price anyways. read more
