Just like a game of spades after a few good hands your destined for something bad. My luck with the apple store is truly not any different at all. About 2 years ago I had a really terrible experience that was ultimately handled positively. From that point I've had consistently positive experiences with apple. Well that was until this month. On October 1, 2022 I came into the apple store looking to get my horribly cracked phone repaired. I came in at approximately 6:25 without an appointment. Lucky for me they were able to get me in for an appointment for 7:35. I was told to come up to the front and remind them so that they don't forget about me. Context my phone was cracked on the front and back so I was pretty confident they would probably have to repair my phone. Update they ran diagnostics and determined my phone would need to be replaced. They gave me a replacement phone. The person I worked with literally just handed me the phone and said I was all set and walked off. I started to try and enter my information and then quickly discovered that the phone was locked. It took was truly felt like forever for them to figure out what the passcode was. I know what you're probably wondering well surely they went ahead and activated the phone for you but of course they didn't. I had to leave and go upstairs to T-Mobile for them to activate my phone. When I got upstairs they weren't able to activate the phone. We contacted several customer service support agents with no luck at all. Only for T-Mobile to tell me that apple gave me a lock device. At this point I needed to go back downstairs to the Apple Store where I would wait even longer only for them to give me a new loaner. At this point the phone was unlocked so that was a plus the negative is that it took them so long I couldn't go to T-Mobile to get it activated. So after several hours later and a couple phones later I left with a device that didn't work for certain but eventually it would. Yay me.

But by the time we could go back the online price changed so we didn't get the match price. My only suggestion is if you see a price online print it and bring it with you. I'm super appreciate of this business and would recommend them if you're looking for an honest group of technicians that stand behind their work. Cricket is one of the most cost-effective ways you can have a cell phone and this is a cute little location in Lockport. I spent a few days in Lockport because my BFF works up here and I've been shopping around for a new cell phone plan for a while because Verizon is awful because of pricing. Cricket is so much cheaper, but they definitely don't have the kinds of coverage and services that the big boys have. So well worth it if you want to save money on your phone though.

Dropped the TV off, left a very reasonable deposit (less than any other place I called). Within 2 days I got a call back with the estimate for repair which was again within an expected price range and had it ready for pickup within a few days. Highly recommended for any TV repairs you might need. In my case I was not sure whether I would pay the money to fix the TV or just replace it and therefore I didn't want to lose a lot of money for the diagnostic portion of the service, Zimmerman's only charges $45 compared to other who were well over $70. The cost of repair was worth it so they went ahead and fixed my TV. Plus the guys working there offered me some great tips on selecting TVs.
