Our home suffered extensive soot damage due to a gas company incident, leading to a six month-long…read morecleaning and restoration process managed by Rainbow Restoration in Charlottesville. The experience was marked by poor communication, lack of oversight, and careless treatment of our belongings. Key problems included delayed and inadequate packing of personal items, damage to property during cleaning and restoration, subpar repairs (such as the minwaxing of countertops and sloppy painting), and unsanitary conditions left by workers (urinating all over and around the toilets). Carpet installation by Sherwin Williams took three repeat visits to correct the initial unprofessional installation. We had to often intervene to document losses and secure appropriate reimbursement from insurance, ultimately recovering significantly more than originally proposed by Rainbow. Despite some helpful individuals (notably the 1800 Pack Out crew and certain staff like Cody), the overall experience with Rainbow Restoration was unsatisfactory. While many of our issues were ultimately corrected under the direction and persistance of Cody, most of them could have been avoided with better communication and oversight. We recommend stronger oversight, professional cleaning services, and better communication with clients in such situations. By the end we felt more like an insurance claim rather than the home owner and customer. Not recommended for whole house clean up and restoration. I would have liked to have written a positive review, but the positives were few and far between.

Shawn communicated to us during the process. I met the rest of the team I wish I had gotten more names. They were all helpful. Tony finished up with setting the furniture and even came back to clean up drywall dust in the bathroom. Making a second trip to clean was over the top. The tenant was able to move back in after a relatively short time. It could have been much worse. Thank you, Rainbow!!!

I went to this store in Waynesboro, on Friday the 16th of August, as I had business in Waynesboro…read more I live in Charlottesville, VA and I have been a Verizon customer for many years. I have had numerous issues with the stores and personnel/management at the Charlottesville stores. I had just switched from an iPhone back to an Android and was having some issues that I couldn't fix. I went in and spoke to a lady named Tiara (unbeknownst to me she was the manager) and she was awesome! Answered all my questions and took the time to make sure that I knew everything I needed to know. I thought this level of customer service at Verizon was gone. I was so happy to get the answers I needed and leave with problems corrected instead of me having to worry about how I was going to fix them on my own. I highly recommend this store, ask for Tiara, and I am sure her staff is well qualified too. After the way I was treated in the Charlottesville stores it is worth the 30-minute drive for me to go to the Waynesboro store and speak to people who really want to help me when I am having an issue or needing to upgrade my phone(s). Thank you, Tiara, for great customer service! From a grateful long-time customer, +Fr. P. Robert Hanley

I waited a LOOOONG time to post this. Mainly because I wanted to see myself just how great their…read moreproduct/service was. They came out and treated my yard for ticks back in April. I lived in Scottsville in an area that had an ABSOLUTE INFESTATION of ticks. You would walk through the yard and surrounding property for as little as ten minutes only to find 9+ ticks on you. It was horrific. I even got the Alpha Gal allergy because of it. I called the Mosquito squad and told them about my situation, which was immediately deemed an emergency. Over the phone the receptionist told me it would be about a week or more because they were completely booked. Nope. In about 10 minutes I received a call from the owner saying they would be there that day, and would treat my yard. Owner himself came out with one of their workers. They were both friendly, respectful, relaxed, even entertaining my young daughter and her barrage of questions about their equipment. The whole process took about 30 minutes to complete. They informed me that the treatment would last at most a month. Recently I moved out of that property last week. (Start of August 2021). No. A. Single. Tick. Ever. Appeared. In. My. Yard. Again. I will be continuing to use this business until this business either comes under new management, or the apocalypse occurs. Mosquito Squad deserves beyond a 5-Star review, and my continued business. Thank you so much for helping make a continued safe environment for my daughter, and pets.

By Friday (4/15) the screen was coming off. I stopped at the shop on Friday and was instructed that I had to come back Wednesday (4/20) when the shop owner returned to have him work on my phone again. I returned on Wednesday for him to fix my phone screen and the charging port (I noticed my headphone jack stopped working when I got home Wednesday (4/13) and the charging port had to be replaced since they're both all one piece). I had to wait over 2 hours but he was able to fix the screen. The screen he initially used was defective and he put a new one on. When he tried to replace the charging port that new part was also defective. So he told me that he needed to grab a new one from home so I would need to return on Thursday (4/21). He stated that the screen was defective so he replaced that and that the headphone jack he try to use with also defective so he had to go home and get a new piece. However, no charge for the port. So I would need to return the following day. I returned today and he is eating lunch and tells me I need to wait 40 minutes. I replied that I got off work early to come get my phone fixed and waited a long time yesterday. He told me to give him 15 minutes and he will work on my phone. I was in the mall for another hour and then he tells me he's charging me for the charging port. WTH?! When I debated with him about how I've had to come to the mall FOUR times because of his defective parts and waited over 4 hours total for him to fix it, he would not budge. I promise I won't be back again for anything and will not recommend them to anyone. Poor customer service all around. No care given for my time I waited and numerous trips I had to make.
