I purchased 2 Marine batteries 7/6/26 and just had time to install them last night at 9pm. They did not turn over the engine. I googled it to learn what I could & it said damage can occur to a battery that is charged on a regular charger after the volts have been depleted below a certain level. It is not my area of expertise so I took the batteries back to the Rockville Batteries Plus for testing today 7/13/26. a guy employee came to the car and tested the battery which read "low volts". we brought them into the store. I said I just installed them late last night, they did not start the engine so I googled it and it said if a battery is low to a point further battery damage can occur if put on a regular charger. The female employee Dani came over and said"that is where you went wrong and made a mistake. If you would have charged it last night it would be working now. You did the wrong thing. It is not covered by warranty but I can sell you two more batteries and discount them for you.". I said the store was closed last night and I was going off of what I read. She said, "why would you. sliver what you read? You were misinformed and you were wrong. Your batteries would be working if you had not made that mistake.". The volts were at 3 on one battery and I think 5 on the other. She said "you ruined them.". She continued "I tell people the way it is. I do not sugarcoat things". The Dani employee said we can charge them but we will charge you to do so. She said they are not covered by the 30 month warranty you were told when you purchased them. This employee should never be in a customer service job ever. She should never interface with customers. She should be in a back room job position. If I owned that. arteries Plus franchise in Rockvile, MD, Dani would be fired asap.

They have a quick serve kiosk, where you can print prepaid labels, or just scan in a drop off. I sometimes redirect FedEx deliveries here for pickup. I agree service can be slow, but no slower than the local UPS shop. Plus they are more organized here when holding packages than the UPS shop tends to be. Just avoid trying to park right out front and parking is fine.

They had a few customers when I came in, but not busy at all - the gentleman called me up to the counter (with my return - which was a sewing machine), asked how he could help and I explained what I needed to do. He was quite nice and super helpful. He had me leave the machine on the counter and walked me over to where to scan the code to print the label, showed me how to do it, and he took the label, I took the receipt, and I was out of there in under five minutes. The service didn't cost anything, so I can't speak on the prices for FedEx services. The store overall was clean, well organized, and seemed pretty well stocked as well.

He didn't try to sell us anything and just fixed the problem. He was personable and respectful and provided excellent customer service which is so hard to find these days. I really appreciated his help as the situation had become more than just a little frustrating. David is an asset to that store but then I am sure he would be to any company he worked for.

Not sure how it got there - the tracking number clearly shows it was dropped off at the store and enroute to where ever. (according to the tracking info it never left the store.) When I took the package back to the store the next day to find out why it was at my house, the CSR at the counter told me I would need to get a new label from Verizon. He could not help me. I know he may not have considered my time is valuable, but it is. I drove to a Verizon store and got a new label went to another UPS store - that was FAR more efficient with a DIY scanning system. Online inventory said that this location had it and we made the trip over. Waited in line for a bit and Jessie helped us. The lady and son in front of us took a bit as they were trading stuff in and going back and forth about they wanted to do....well while they were taking their sweet time deciding, Jessie helped us and we were done. Small store and lot of foot traffic today but Jessie got us in and out. The game was only in a sleeve but Jessie also took the time to print out a cover and give us a formal game case with it.
