I asked a gal eating Starbucks near the door if she had any idea when they left. "They were closed when I got here ten minutes ago". I called to see if maybe the Angels location was more well run. The gal there was VERY nice and told me they get a thirty minute lunch on Sundays. So I opted to wait. At 2:50, after I'd been waiting a half hour, a gal drove up. When I stood up to come in out of the heat, she said, "I have to clock in" and locked the door behind her. So I stood in the parking lot another ten minutes. I was pissed by now but decided to give her a chance. If she said something friendly like, " Sorry for the wait," or "come on in," I'd swallow my frustration. Nope. Just unlocked the door. So I left. The place gets dreadful reviews so maybe I dodged a bullet. I'll find someone else to activate my items. If there'd been a return time, I could have run an errand. If she'd said, "hi! Come on in. I'll be with you in a minute. I have to clock in," I would have been okay too. Instead she, and by extension Russel Whetever, showed little concern for curtained satisfaction.

Good Afternoon, I…read morehave been a loyal customer to AT&T for at least 25 years.Unfortunatly I have a complaint about the service that I received in your Jackson Office on Monday 1st September. A few weeks ago I went into the Jackson office to get a replacement protective cover for my IPhone. When I bought my phone I was told that I would get a replacement under warranty. The guy in the store did not have one in stock and advised me to call 611 and they would send one to my home and I could come back into the store and they would put this on for me. When I returned home and called 611 I was told the information that I was given was incorrect and they should get the replacement for me. Fast forward to the 1st Sept. I went into your store in Jackson again and there were about 5 staff huddled together and one employee Eric came over. I explained to your employee Eric what had transpired and he then went to get a replacement and told me it would be $50. I explained again to him what customer service told me and he looked at his IPad and said he could not find my invoice and I would have to go home to bring in my receipt. I also asked about my wife's phone as she needed a replacement, took one look at her phone and said "we don't have that!" His attitude was appalling. I then went into the parking lot and called 611 and a very helpful lady found my receipts which she sent to me immediately. I explained what had just transpired in the store and I did not want to have to keep going back and forth between customer service and this assistant in store. She sent me a link to show Eric how to proceed. I then returned to the store and explained that I now had the receipts sent to me from customer service. He did not even look at the receipts. He would not look at the link she sent me to show him the procedure he was supposed to follow. He told me the protector was an AT&T brand and that I would still have to pay $50. The customer service lady told me that it would have to be an AT&T brand. He would not listen to me at all. By this time I was very frustrated as Eric obviously didn't want to take time or effort to change it. I asked to speak to the manager and he just replied "he's not here". I live a 40 minute drive away so it's not that convenient for me to visit the store. This employee Eric did nothing to help me at all. He just kept saying either I pay $50 or I don't get the replacement. He was very condescending. I asked him what I could do as customer service said one thing and said another and he just replied "pay $50". I feel like it was just too much trouble to replace it and was probably disturbing his conversation with his work buddies. He then got a bad attitude and told me I had to leave and not come back. I tried to reason with him but he told me I was trespassing and never come back. That is not great as I have a phone,my wife has a phone and so does my son. So when we need help, upgrades etc that's a bit inconvenient. We pay over $200 per month for the privilege and can't go to our store? This is the first time ever in an AT&T store that I have been treated like this. I have always had exceptional service and recommended it to other people. As I am no longer allowed into your store I will now have to look elsewhere for a new phone provider. It is very disappointing that your staff are not trained well or are incompetent.

Wish I could give zero stars - I don't recommend this place and wish I never went. I'll just sum up…read morea longer story by saying I left my iPhone and iPad with them. Between the 2 items, I had to drive there 5 different times from Plymouth with my 3 toddlers in tow. My phone is worse than it was when I turned it in. It had a problem with the charger port, but now multiple speakers aren't working right. My phone is useless for talking on and now for watching any videos (think because they opened it multiple times and things got messed up inside). They replaced the charger port and then people couldn't hear me. The guy originally got defensive and claimed it must be the other peoples phones that are an issue, not mine. They replaced it again saying the speaker on the new charger port unit could be bad (it was) and they've had issue with that particular brand before. The next one worked at first, but then it messed up as well. I had to miss a medical appointment, have missed calls with loved ones and lots of inconveniences because of it (not to mention all the gas money and time I spent on my days off trying be done with it all). I can't afford a new phone. My iPad had a shattered spot off to the side of the screen. It still worked just fine. If I would've known there was a chance they could break the motherboard, I would've never risked it. They broke the motherboard and now my iPad doesn't work at all and the screen is destroyed. I don't have money for an iPad either. Multiple times they tried to sell me a used one they had. They don't seem like they've been doing this all that long. The vibe was shady from the start. Zero integrity and I don't believe they're honest. Wish I went with my gut and walked out. Oh and no refunds. Once you pay, it's theirs.
