A little short in explaining their deals and discounts, but it's worth the extra discussions.

BEING AWESOME IN LIFE AFFECTS MORE PEOPLE THAN YOU KNOW, Episode #060492…read more Around three weeks ago I smashed the screen of my Galaxy S9+ into a corner of a cabinet in my attempt to catch the device as it slipped out of my hand and headed to the floor. The device's protective case does little to protect the screen from blunt force trauma when the screen itself receives a rather significant direct pinpoint impact with the corner of hard object. The device probably would have been fine if I had just let it hit the floor, but my wanna be ninja reflexes tried to stop it's decent and caused more damage in the save. needless to say, I failed my reflex save. The phone is two years old but it still serves me well and most likely last a few more years. Instead of getting a new phone, which I would have to pay for the cracked screen anyway, I chose to just get this one fixed. Stacy, and several folks we know, have had much success with a local place called the Cell Phone Doctor. (I recommend booking an appointment. They are quite busy. You can book an appointment through their Facebook page. They respond within a couple of hours) I booked my appointment as Fritz Ling. When I paid my bill I provided my full name. Upon hearing the name the owner stopped what he was doing, looked at me with a slightly tilted head, and asked, "Do you know Samantha Fotovich?" I smiled, then responded, "Just a little bit. She's my oldest niece of all five of my favorite nieces. Matter of fact, just this last November my Wife and I officiated her wedding as we made her and Austin promise to be exceptional to each other forever and be best friends for life." "She teaches my son, Rami. You tell her I said Hi and that Rami misses her very much." He then directed his attention towards the cashier and said, "Go ahead and give him the 10% family discount." P.S. The establishment REGULARLY wiped down the door, the door handle, credit card machine, and anything else which came in contact with human touch. I felt extremely safe waiting for my device to be repaired while reading me some Chuck Gannon.)

This is not about this particular store, but rather Verizon Wireless as a company…read more Verizon wireless is totally inept. I have an issue with a final bill, I left because of terrible service, and these folks cannot even manage to get this straight. On the first call I was transferred 8 times and wound up being connected to a credit agency and the second time I was transferred 10 times with the same result. Verizon used to be a great company and I was with them for over 15 years, but then they lost sight of their most valuable asset - their customers. I left them and paid all I owed, with a customer service rep taking care of the business. Then all of the sudden I get hit with the $80 charge that was already dealt with. Even though disputed, they have put this on my credit history. That is a bush league move, especially when the customer has ALWAYS paid his bill in a timely manner. Verizon has turned into a predatory company with NO respect for customers. They do not care about the issue and they just say they are right no matter what. Do yourself a big favor and DO NOT ever be associated with this company. There is much better out there at much better rates. They have destroyed 15 years of my loyalty to the point I will never use them for anything ever again. Maybe if someone at Verizon does care they can contact me at mjm7577@gmail.com. I throw that out there but expect no results seeing the way these folks operate. Let's see other firms keep doing better and better - maybe the giant will fall and decay, just like other arrogant firms who thought they were too big to fail. Yes Verizon, you are failing badly!!!!!

I've been without a phone for a week now...I have been having issue getting ahold of Apple to rectify this situation. I'm extremely disappointed with Apple's customer service and support process. I've been dealing with ongoing iPhone issues for approximately 6-8 months, including dictation freezing, battery and cellular issues, and extremely hot wireless charging. During that time, I've contacted Apple approximately 10-15 times and spent more than 24 hours with Apple's 1-800 support team and senior advisors. I was initially told there was an issue with my phone, but I was also told that express replacement was no longer available for the iPhone 17 Pro Max unless I had Apple's extended warranty coverage. Because of that, I was required to take the phone to an Apple Store. I travel for a living, so making a trip to the store and potentially spending several hours there is a significant inconvenience. Once there, the Genius Bar told me they needed to review my history and that the issue had to occur in front of them or be detected by diagnostics before they could consider replacing the phone. Apple's diagnostics initially showed the phone as normal, even though the problems are intermittent. Eventually, while I was still at the store, the dictation issue occurred again and I was able to demonstrate it. I thought that would finally resolve the issue, but I was then told they could not replace the phone because they didn't have one available. What made this especially frustrating was watching another customer standing next to me receive a refurbished replacement phone. I understand there may have been differences in circumstances, but after everything I had gone through, it was difficult not to feel like I was being treated differently. I was instead told I needed to go through a 2-3 hour repair process, potentially longer. After leaving the store, I discovered that the charging port had been damaged while my phone was in Apple's possession. I called Apple again, and a senior advisor contacted the store. Based on the circumstances, the senior advisor told me the store should have been able to request the appropriate replacement phone from another nearby Apple Store or directly from Apple. The store still refused and insisted that I return for the repair process. After 6-8 months, 10-15 calls, more than 24 hours with Apple support, and finally reproducing the problem in front of the Genius Bar, I expected Apple to find a reasonable solution. I do want to recognize Mike, who was incredibly understanding, sincere, and compassionate. Everyone I dealt with was polite and professional. My frustration is not with the employees; it is with the process. Apple is not the company I remember. I miss when the focus seemed to be on taking care of the customer and finding a reasonable solution. I understand policies change, but there should still be room for common sense and customer service.

My mother is visiting me from Texas, and she wanted to get a new cellphone, so I took her to the…read moreAT&T store next to The Bridge Street Town Center. There are two parts to this visit, so I'll begin with the good. Our sales representative Brandayn Oliver did a fantastic job at assisting me, help my mother upgrade her phone. He was patient and knowledgeable about the plans and the products. He gave excellent customer service, and I would go to him again. Now for the reason, I can't give AT&T a five-star review is because of the Manager, Ben Burcham. My mother has an eight-pound lap dog named Happy, as we walked in the store with Happy in her arms (where she usually is) we were immediately met by a man walking briskly to the front of the store saying you can't bring the dog in the store, service dogs only. He said it's the store's policy (which was strange because I have taken that eight-pound piece of fluff into other AT&T stores with no problems). I have no problem adhering to the request, but there was no signage on the door saying service dogs only. No worries, before I turned to take the dog and put her in the car I asked him to show my mother the iPhones. I'm back in two minutes, and my mother is walking around the store looking for someone to assist her. I asked Ben Burcham again to help my mother, and he said a sales representative was in the restroom and would be up in a minute to help her. Our next interaction went like this: "Me: Who are you? Ben: I'm the store manager. Me: So you are the store manager, and you can't help my mother? Ben: No I can't. I have other things to do. A sales representative will be out in a minute to help you?" I understand he is a manager, and he has many things to do, but nothing is more important than customer service. He could have begun the sales process by showing my mom some phones until the other representative returned to the sales floor. He was arrogant and rude and made me feel unwelcome in the store. Had it not been for Brandayn's spectacular customer service I would have walked out and taken my business to another store. My message to AT&T is, send Ben back for more training, he's not ready to manage a store.

I'd give this store a zero if I could. First of all one of the salespeople (who seemed to be quite…read moreknowledgeable) ended up making a change to my coverage without my consent. I didn't find out until the next billing cycle. When I was on the general customer service number, to make a claim on my daughter's phone, the rep told me the manager of the store was going to have to fix it. When I called the store, I was call screened but insisted on speaking w manager. She (the manager) was the rudest person that I have ever talked to and I was hung up on. When I called back I verified that she did in fact hang up on me and wouldn't give me her name, I've been an AT&T customer for 30 years. She needs to be fired and someone put in that position that understands customer service.
