Rude rude rude! Went here to buy a new phone but they didn't have the color I wanted. They had other colors in stock and when I asked if I can see the other color to make sure I like it before purchasing the guy there said "we have it in stock but not on display ". Ok...so I asked if I can see it and he kept telling me "No, we don't have it on display". I understood that the first time but was asking him if I could see the phone in stock then to make sure I like the color before purchasing and he was very rude and told me I was not allowed to see it until I paid for it. Never heard of purchasing in store before being allowed to see it. If that was the case, I would have just bought it online. I left and went to another store and bought my phone there. read more

Came in to get my e sim transferred over to my new phone. I didn't realize how complicated of an issue it was but malikye was extremely friendly and patient. He even worked with me 30 minutes after closing and did not rush so that I would leave with a working number. I've been coming to this location for years and the staff has always been wonderful! Disgusting and unprofessional services . I walked in and Carlos introduced me to a girl to assist me who stated "no im so tired" why would you think that's even ok . I was porting over from another carrier and I'll just stay there , because it's really unacceptable. I was already hesitant to switch because my current carrier has great service but expensive . But I'll stay where I am because this experience was gross . And from someone who worked for a telecommunications company for ten years and dealt with all type of customers , if someone greets you with a hello and smile you shouldn't be responding with ugh I'm so tired . Fahmid, is the most patient and caring employee, that I can say I have ever interacted with at this store. He went far beyond what was required of him to help me in every way possible. Besides him there is one other individual whose name is Chris who is nice but I definitely have to say This gentleman far exceeds my expectation I can't speak for anyone else's experience. I stopped by today to upgrade my iPhone. First let just say every staff member had a mask on and couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. However this post isn't as much about me but the shameful actions of some of the customers I witnessed. Customers were yelling not wearing mask disrespecting the staff. People if you can't act right stay home!! It's not the staffs fault YOU lost your earbuds! It's not the staffs fault you aren't on your brothers account. I had a Blackberry 8700 from 2008, and yes, I am a technophobe. I need my texts and e-mails to be 100% reliable. I don't need any of the other garbage. Honestly those mouth-breathing subway riders fixated on Candy Crush while their kids throw themselves face down on the floor and have a fit just freak me out. No one in my life had been successful in prying that baby out of my clutches until I met Louis Castro Recio, an Associate at the Austin Street location. Louis patiently explained everything with my new Google phone. He didn't talk down to me or use jargon like most tech-savvy people. He was just so nice and so patient. Time has passed and I recently revisited and found the most patient and informative sales person named Arikah Parker. She had enormous amounts of patience with my questions and was forthwith with lots of information.She was very clear in explaining the aspects of different phones. My review is for Louis Castro, a sales rep at this location. I came in inquiring about a business plan for my family's small business- general questions about rate plans, benefits of a business plan as compared to a regular family rate plan, deals or promos, etc All my questions were answered in an upfront, non-pushy sales way. I left felt informed and not pressured into signing up right away. Within the next few days, he switched us over from an AT&T family plan to a business a with T-Mobile - we qualified for the current promo which allowed T-Mobile to pay our cancelation fees with AT&T, which was definitely a plus. We even received a promo that put money towards buying new phones for our plan. Our plan was with no contracts as well, which was another plus. We liked the flexibility and non-commitment factor. If you have any questions about activating a line of service with T-Mobile, definitely ask for Louis. He'll answer all your questions and not push you into anything, which is huge when it comes to sales! I had such a positive experience that anyone looking to switch carriers, I push them in this direction. Two of my friends have since activated with Louis as well. The rest of the staff seems friendly, and I'm always greeted upon entering the store. Great service all around. read more

This is about the store manager. I went in to purchase a iPhone Xs & after going through with the credentials check with the store employee I thought I would be purchasing the phone but the manager found my Non Drivers ID invalid because it expired 3 months ago! I've been to places that require ID recently & never had a issue until today! She just wouldn't give me a break & she knew I came all the way from Richmond Hill (I called from Richmond Hill). The employees were friendly & kind but the manager really should lighten up especially after coming all the way from 1 area of Queens to another just to make your store $$$ read more

All staff ask each other for help,coz none of them have proper training, waiting takes forever Imagine it took me 2 hours to get my phone and another hour , the rep was trying to install the screen protector, after him messing up 3 times and it was a Loss just for the store because he kept opening new packages. They need to get more inventory for T-Mobile Tuesday. Went in today around 3:40pm and the rep told me they ran out of inventory already. They constantly run out of stock whenever I go in. Even on slow days they run out cause I work around the corner so I can see if it's busy or not. read more

After having T-Mobile for only a year and a half, having previously been with Sprint for 15 years , I am just about to take all 3 of my phone lines of service away from T-Mobile due to 3 months of continuous run around and untruths from their customer service department, and from Assurants, their warranty department, and their loyalty program department which have all done nothing but tell non truths. I bought an iPhone 6 Plus from T-Mobile. Actually I bought 2 iPhone 6 Plus and 1 iPhone 5s when I switched to T-Mobile. We were offered the warranty plan on our phones and I accepted it for all 3 lines. One of the iPhone 6 Plus phones shorted out after 13 months, white scree , sometimes works sometimes just shuts off. T mobile sent a refurbished iPhone 6 Plus out and it took 4 weeks to get to us. "On back order" the refurbished phone didn't last long. It wouldn't hold a charge. So we do the run around with t mobile again for yet another refurbished phone. This took only 6 days to arrive. Had it a week. I swear I think it's the original phone, but could be wrong. Shorts out, white screen, sometimes works, then shuts itself down. Call every supervisor they will put me through and all they want to do is have my buy a new phone. I don't want another refurbished phone. They say they will send one, but it's on back order again so it's going to be at least until Tuesday .... We have been run around too long. I simply want a new iPhone 6plus. Or at least one that works perfectly and I don't want to be lied to or read to from a script by someone who can't help me. Every supervisor keeps offering me a discount to buy a new phone ($129 and the latest was $200 off an $799 phone which I paid for 13 months ago). If I have to buy a new iPhone I'm taking my business elsewhere. Beware of T-Mobile and their deceptive warranties. And most importantly beware of their poor customer service. read more

This is a blanket complaint about T Mobile coverage and not about this T-Mobile location. T MOBILE'S LACK OF AREAS COVERED IS ASTOUNDING 47 st and Madison Ave. in Manhattan, Sunday night, no reception. 30 min. North of Philadelphia, in Devon, a well to do suburb on the Main Line - T-Mobile has no reception. 1 hr North of NYC, busy college town on the Hudson, New Paltz, no reception. Brainbridge Island 15 minutes outside of Seattle, Washington, no reception. Up in Maine, you can keep dreaming about using your T-Mobile phone. So, if one travels a little and needs good coverage one has to stay away from T-Mobile (known as Deutsche Telephone around the world). They have great coverage in Europe and in North Africa but not in the US. I can hardly wait for my contract to be over to end my relationship with T-Mobile. read more

Okay if you read my reviews on this store from the past you will see I havent always been happy when Ive left. The other day I was shopping in forest hills and decided to go in once again since I needed a cover for my new phn. I was reluctant to go in but since I was walking right past decided to stop in. The second I walked in I was greeted with a big smile and a Hi my I help you? So I look around to make sure Im in the right store and yes it was the tmobil store. The young lady whos name I cant remember but it did start with an I that I do remember was so down to earth friendly and knowledgeable that it blew my mind. I asked how long she had been there and she told me a year. What a wonderful young lady I cant say enough about her she has totally turned me around in how I feel about this store. So much so even if Im not in forest hills I will walk past the 2 other tmobil stores to go to her store shes that good. I came to get the iPhone 7 plus on release day and they made me wait from 8-2 telling me that the ups delivery will come with them, the time came and I call them asking if they got it and they said they did and it "sold out" when I was clearly outside in my car when the delivery came. I called to make sure and the girl on the phone lied to me, saying it was sold out, so I walked in and asked and they told me they didn't even get them or a delivery. Although I clearly saw it happen and asked the ups man if it was for the T-Mobile store and he said yes. I'm really upset they did that to me, that's really messed up T-Mobile, fix your staff. read more

Ive been going to tmobile locations for the past 6 years. And have never recieved consistent quality service untill i started to shop at this location. This location was refered to me by a friend who lives close by and i could easily say the service was hands down the best i have recieved at a tmobile location. I was greeted warmly by a young lady as soon as i walked in and she was able to answer all of my questions about my bill. I told the rep that i appreciated all her help and that i have never received as good of service from another tmobile location before. The manager who was standing near by introduced himself to me after overhearing about my experiences and gladly handed me his buisness card and told me if i had any issues to call or come by anytime for his help. I have been to the location several times after and have always been treated with great service. read more

I don't understand how sales associate Rossie Lopez is qualified to work there ? I already have 3 lines with tmobile and wanted to bring 3 more lines from AT&T, which 2 of them were still under contract with them. To keep the very long story short, Rossie told us to pay the early termination fee at AT&T and Tmobile will send us $450 credit card for reimbursement in 4-8 weeks, so we can unlock our phones and use tmobile lines. 3 days later we paid the fee, went back to Tmobile for the process, she was off that day, and the gentleman told us that's not how it works and maybe we (3 growna** men) "misunderstood" her. He called her phone and spoke behind the doors, later said "that's not what she meant". C'mon, we are all adults here, simply admit Rossie didn't know what she was talking about, she didn't get enough training, or failed to ask her supervisor. Luckily i was able to reverse the transaction. I will still do business with Tmobile, will go to same store but not deal with her. Noel (the manager), either train her properly, or send her to your competition and let her be their problem. read more

I had one of the worse experience with t mobile company. I ordered a phone, and in less than two hours I called to change the phone for another one that they had. I was told that they don't make changes like that. Once you order any phone you are not allowed to make changes even though the phone was not processed to leave the warehouse. I was told that I have to wait until the phone was delivered to my house then I can return it back to the company. Which to me did not make sense as it was less than two hours that I placed my order over the phone. While on the phone with the sales rep the noise and the music was ridiculous high. It sounded like a dance hall or night club, instead of a phone company. And to make matters worse someone from t mobile called and leave me a voice mail where in which the rep was cursing a lot of bad word and the music was extremely loud. I saved that voice mail so as to let the public hear it. I'm very disappointed with T mobile company, after been a valuable customer for over 6 years. After that experience with t mobile I will never ever again recommend t mobile to anyone else. read more
