A young sales associate assisted, he seemed to be in a hurry, told me how his baby mother trapped him (TMI). We didn't even know the transaction was over, he just walked off. They sent the kit for me to trade in my old devices to an address I haven't lived at for YEARS because he didn't even bother to verify my current mailing address. I went back to the store thinking I could just trade in my devices when another sales associate gave me the wrong shipping label, so I am glad that I caught that before mailing my devices. It has been very frustrating just trying to trade in devices and part of me regrets ever switching service to this provider. I think there needs to be more attention to detail from the employees in this store.

I came here on a Tuesday afternoon after what seemed like a ton of unsuccessful experiences with Verizon (via the online customer service tool and another Verizon location). Due to prior Verizon customer support not being able to determine a successful resolution to my issue, I was essentially without a workable phone for almost three full days. Upon entry, I was immediately greeted by Craig who asked what brought me in. After I explained what my issue was and explained my experience thus far with Verizon regarding this issue, he immediately assured me that it was a quick fix (which it was). He quickly learned that the last step of setting up my eSIM was unfortunately not completed successfully (which was activating the eSIM) which caused none of my calls, text, and internet services to work without WiFi. With his knowledge and expertise, I was probably at Verizon for all of 15 minutes, if that, and left with a working phone. Big props to Craig, who allowed me to leave as a satisfied customer.

I'm not too sure if it's a census issue, but it feels like nowadays Genius Bar has twice the customers with only 2/3 of the available team members. Doesn't matter if I show up 30 minutes early for my appointment, somehow I'll still get somehow 30 minutes past my appointment, sometimes even behind walk-ins who came after me. Time for service also seems to have gone up. When I'm dropping off stuff for repairs, doesn't really matter to me if it takes days or weeks. But simple things like battery swaps have somehow gone from 1 hour waits to 3 hour waits for first time morning appointments, it's insane. I'll keep going cuz I have Apple Care and often times it's more free than not. But if it weren't for this location being in a mall, I wouldn't be a frequent flyer at all.

He let us know how much the trade-in was worth and told us about different discounts/promotions including a $1 Apple Watch that came with the upgrade. He handled the data transfer and helped set up/update the new phone while I left and continued shopping. Most of the negative reviews for this location deal with long wait times or different online vs. in-store information. I would probably not recommend visiting over the weekends or when the mall is too full, but during the week it's great! I did not have an issue with online information being wrong either, we called an AT&T store ahead of time and got a quote for our current phone's trade-in value that was the same as Frankie offered.
