T-Mobile really needs to get it together! I switched back to them about 3 years ago because they're the only phone company that has international data packages that meet my travel needs. But they have some of the most inconsistent customer service agents and their service is always down. I have called hundreds of times while in the Bellevue area, as well as when I am out of the country because my phone isn't working. Where I live I can't even use my phone unless I am physically in my apartment near the signal box they gave me. However, my neighbors across the hall never have these issues and they have T-Mobile as well. While I was in the UK and Hungary my phone completely stopped working and wouldn't connect to WiFi or connect to data. Understand the UK issue was an international impact, but with Hungary I was told I shouldn't be impacted because the issue was specific to Germany outages. Normally I would have dropped them, but the international data (when it works) is a life saver for someone like me who is gone out of the country every other month. Really want them to get it together because I'm sick of bouncing between phone companies! read more

I want to thank Andrew. First I moved my friends account to Tmobile. He made it easy and gave the account credit without me asking. Next, I want to thank Andrew for helping me rebuild my friends contacts and email. My friend is very sick and hit factory rest on his Apple phone. I feared all was lost. Somehow we miraculously figured out the set up and password. My friend is very happy because while he is sick, his phone is his only connection to the outside world. Andrew gave me extra effort, he realized I was upset, but provided reassurance and helped me through this tough situation with my sick friend and his factory reset phone. He didn't have yo do that. But during COVID, Andrew treated me like my little problem was his to solve. He is respectful, professional and super smart. I tried calling T-Mobile's advertised customer service number for when you are out of the country at 1 (505) 998-3793. An agent answered in 2 minutes, described I was calling internationally and was seeing if could get a lesser rate since had gotten this before in the past. I was put on hold listening to some classy loud rock and roll! It lasted 45 minutes. In between heard clicks here and there but nothing else. It was finally 11:00 pm in Istanbul. Heard another click and got hung up on! Do NOT depend on T-Mobile to do anything if outside US because they would obviously leave you with a big bill and rip you off. T-Mobile = More bars+more unreliability!!! T-Mobile is very poor internationally and have had problems with them even when been in the U.S.! read more

August 28, 2022 i called T Mobile to port over my phone number from AT&T. I was told my AT&T Z fold 3 qualifies to be brought over. I paid 35 dollars activation fee and received the sim card in 4 days. I placed the sims in the phone and it did not work. I called T Mobile and was then told i have to call AT&T to get it unlocked. I called AT&T and was told that they could not unlock the phone. The T Mobile rep was still on the phone so i stated to him that they will not unlock the phone so i cannot get service with T Mobile. I requested to have my 35 dollars back. I was told i have to go into a local T Mobile store to get it processed. I work two jobs so i don't have time, so i waited. On Sept. 19 I called T Mobile back and decided to get a phone through them. I got the Z fold 4 in 3 days. No sims was sent with it so i used the one i still had. Phone worked: I went to the store and was told they do not refund in the store. I then had to get on the phone again and was later credited 35 towards my account because they do not refunds. I was transferred at least 5 times in order to get that done. I was then told i qualify for a free watch 4 and a 200 dollars rebate. I stated when i setup this account i was told i did not qualify. Ok I received the watch on 21st of Sept. I activated to my account but notice it was too small for my wrist. I called back and i was sent a shipping label to return it. Ok I returned the watch on Saturday 24th and on the 25th my phone was shut off. I called T Mobile and was on hold for about 2 hours but my phone was turned back on. I then placed an order for the watch 5 and it arrived on Tuesday the 27th and on Wednesday the 28 my phone was shut off. I called T Mobile and was told that some reported my phone stolen. Today i just left from a T Mobile store around the corner from my job. I was told that the issue is they put my account onto another account with the same name but his last name has an E. So i was told to send the phone back in like i'm the one who committed fraud. I asked will i be getting another phone of the same brand. She stated if we have one you will. If i wanted a refund i have to wait until they received the phone back. If i send the phone back i lose all my pictures and messages and other things i have saved on this phone. I'm very unhappy and upset because i do not have a phone and to purchase one out of the store i was told it will cost me a 1,000 dollars. read more

I've been with T-Mobile since before they were T-Mobile. Please know this review is coming someone very knowledgeable about the company, stores, policies, and procedures. I've been using the Factoria store for about ten years now. I always get the most wonderful help at this store. I never have to wait more than 15 minutes to get service. They are always well staffed. The only time it gets a little difficult is during lunch. They are swapping out employees to allow everyone to have personal time. If the person helping you does not know something they don't hesitate to ask another employee. Pride in the company, not someone's image is very evident in this store. Dereck who has been one of the managers at this store is by far one of my favorite people. His job is to monitor the comings and goings of the store but he always makes the rounds to ensure each customer is getting the help they need. While he lets his new employees learn he is not oppressive to the point of embarrassing them. He's there to help them learn more. I've never seen him embarrass or scold an employee in all the time I've known him. You would think after all this time of me knowing Dereck he would just look up my account and not worry about procedures. He knows me well enough he gives me a hug when I arrive in the store but he still makes me show him my ID. He is very diligent about following the company rules and using them to do whatever it takes to make the customer happy. Sales reps have tried to upgrade my plan and he always steps in and tells them "NO." I'm on a 10-year old plan that is better than what is currently offered. He won't let anyone change me because I have a better rate with my old plan. He is fabulous! I've always had my loyal sales persons when I've gone in. They have all been great but Chandler is my newest favorite. He is always happy and notices every little detail. He will tell you if what you want is not on the product you are asking for, even if it means not getting the sale. He wants to make sure you are happy. He is a perfect example of a dedicated T-Mobile employee. The new store looks wonderful with a nice sitting area and all the products are on display. I stopped by for one of the free tmobile Tuesdays because I was in the area. The lady who helped me wouldn't give me the freebie because I had let the 5 minute countdown expire before entering the store. It wasn't clear to me that once I click the button, a timer would start. I decided to try anyways, but she was being really adamant about not giving it to me because she didn't see the countdown. Yeah... I go and buy a phone and I'm not a customer by the way however I paid the non-contract price and they said come in tomorrow and we will set it up for your spouse and we'd be more than glad to help you. This is a review of t-mobile corporate. It does not represent any one store. We have a 7 phone business plan with insurance on all phones. My iPhone 6 Plus died ( would not charge). We were told WW hen we pay almost $100 a month for insurance alone that with a business plan the phone would be replaced within a day or two. Well 7 months went by no phone. They would not even credit us for not being able to use the phone. I had a new silver iPhone 6 Plus. After 7 months they returned a gold one, but USED. They claimed there was a world wide shortage of iPhones. A lie. We are an OEM supplier to Japan. It cost me money in commissions to have the delays by using email. After 2 months no phone while they are still billing us monthly I went and got a Verizon phone. Our company is now with Verizon. My daughter uses the T-Mobile phone to play games on. read more

You asked me what I would like you to do about it. I asked you if you were treated as I was, what would you want done. I believe your response was something along the lines of you would never put yourself in my position. This response, after more than a week of being given the run around by your employees, I felt was insufficient and dismissive. I believe I conveyed as much to you and expressed the idea that perhaps because I was just one customer making a complaint you felt no real obligation to do anything but placate me until I was frustrated enough to forget about my complaint. I believe your employees learned this technique from you well because they attempted the same technique with me numerous times over the past week. In response, I suggested that maybe if I wrote 5000 letters you might pay more attention to my issue. I believe your response was something along the lines of, 'well if you think that is the best course of action, then do it.' I felt this was a dismissive dare, a way to brush me off as an idle threat because you did not really believe I was going to do it. Again, this technique is something your employees are well versed in. I see that your years spent as a trainer of staff has given you expertise in embedding your deflect and dismiss techniques for dealing with customer complaints. Was it from you that they learned to put customers on the phone with other store employees when that customer has a complaint I wonder? No matter, but I am writing you now to convey the fact that you have my solemn promise, on the souls of all my family both living and dead and with God as my witness, I am going to see this through until the end. Don't..DO NOT..get into Lease Agreement with T-Mobile. My daughter wanted the Iphone 6 so bad, that we opted for the Jump On demand. TMO charges us $26 per month for 18 months, and then for 18 months they give back $7. TMO are so stupid, that ever since we got the phone, those idiots at TMO can't seem to add the $7 promotion to my billing. I have to make 3 calls a month to those kindergartener kids in TMO's CSR..explain the situation to them. Then those idiots send a request to the promotion team. I mean how difficult do you think it is to add a $7 credit back to the billing account each month? Not to difficult I would say. But those idiots are TMO take this to a totally different relm. In all my time that I have dealt with these fools - I was never offered a credit or some compensation for all my time that I had wasted telling them that they had messed up. My name is Eva A, I've been with T-Mobile since 2013, overall, no complaints as of yet, or I wouldn't have stayed with the company as long as I have. I have my monthly payments automatically withdrawn from my checking account. My particular phone was ending its contract and the amount owed was $306.00 due March 1st 2022. I called your customer service on February 18th to pay the $306.00 explaining it was for my number ending in 2727. The Expert Brandon said I would occur a fee for paying off my phone balance over the phone. He could walk me through paying it off if I did it myself on my end. I asked if this would not reflect on my monthly bill of $362.00. He assured me that it would not. No sooner did I pay the $306.00, I refreshed the account and it came off the $362.00 leaving a balance of $56.00 on my monthly statement to be taken out of my checking account on the 21st of February. In frustration on my end, he told me he could reverse the transaction it would just take 24 hours.  I asked to talk to a supervisor, the call was disconnected,  (15 min. call) I immediately call back and get Joi, I re-explain my situation and my frustration, she makes note of everything and sends me a text saying she will look into it and push it through for a Supervisor to look into it. (5 min. call) Later that day, I received a call from a Supervisor, I believe his name was Adam. He apologized for the inconvenience of all the phone calls and understood my time is valuable all to resolve a simple situation, that turned out to be nothing short of a headache. He had mentioned that Joi had told him about the scenario. He offered a 1-time courtesy to wipe away the balance of the $306.00 for the balance of my phone number ending in 2727. And all would resume as normal coming out of my checking account the following months for my monthly statements. (7 minute call) I asked for an email to confirm what he was saying, slightly difficult to understand as ALL of the above mentioned were of another country, they can speak English, but don't understand the concept of the call. So, I thought Adam understood.  NEVER RECEIVED A TEXT OR AN EMAIL IN LIEU OF THIS CONVERSATION I then again refreshed my phone to notice that the amount for my phone was indeed wiped clean. Great! Resolved only 3 phone calls in, and gosh only knows how many minutes were spent on the calls. Because you can't track them. The numbers they call from might be a familiar area code. But if you try and call them back, they are non-working numbers. How convenient. That's what I do on a daily basis, carry a notepad around with me to see who's calling at what time and make note of it. This leads me to text I received yesterday morning 2/26/2022 saying $306.00 was going to be taken out of my checking account on March 1st for the Balance of my phone ending in 2727. (which was supposedly wiped clean on 2/18/2022) I immediately call back and now am speaking with another Expert, Not to be rude, I kindly ask for a Supervisor. Expert is assuring me she will be able to help me. Expert starts the whole conversation saying she will reverse the $306.00 charge! OMG!!! I about lost it, but ask for a SUPERVISOR who can get the job done!! I speak with Sean (female) very nice. (Foreign country) She sees no notes of any conversation from Adam, just Joi. I'm not making this up. I go back in my phone records and have incoming calls from (847) area codes, at the time of the calls, ALL NON-WORKING NUMBERS-WITH NO CUSTOMER SERVICE as too who's calling from T-Mobile, however the calls are from T-Mobile. Sean assures me she will look into it and pull phone records if needed including voice transcripts. Later I receive a call from one of Seans coworkers saying she can clear this up and refund the money.. Now mind you the only one, I ever received a text from was Joi, but when you reach back via text, the response is Sorry, this service is temporarily Unavailable. I AM AT A LOSS OF WORDS!! I did the same for my husband's phone 3 months ago. (phone call actually went to a resident living in Texas) we had a nice conversation as I was paying my husband's phone off. He understood what I was saying in regards to paying off the phone, using a different credit card. (logistics, trucking that kind of thing) I thought T-Mobile must be a pretty great company to work for he really liked his job. WHY CAN'T EVERYONE ELSE SEEM TO UNDERSTAND THE SAME CONVERSTAION Because I need this resolved I called 611 customer service this morning 2/27/2022. Spent 20 minutes on phone with Eric. Said he would reverse the $306.00 :( My account would go as late fee. He could credit me $58.00 for ALL my troubles. I am no better off. If I owned this company. My worst service experience happened at this t-mobile retail store. I ordered an iPhone 6 and a 6 plus on Nov-2-2014. Meredith, t-mobile staff, told me that I need to call her if I changed my mind. I switched my account to AT&T the same day because the bad coverage. Then I called her immediately to cancel my order. She promised that I would not be charged and the phones would be cancelled. But on Nov-21-2014, my credit card was charged more than $1700 and i was informed that the phones had been shipped. Then I called Meredith twice and left massage since she was always unavailable. But unfortunately she never returned my call. I know she was pissed off by losing her commission. Meredith is the most irresponsible service staff I have ever met!!!!!!! I switched over from Verizon to T-Mobile and I don't know why I didn't do this sooner. The 4G and voice service is phenomenal in Bellevue. Well, I guess they better be since their headquarters is here. Much better plans, no roaming, and after you pay for the phone, the service fee goes down since you are done paying for it. Verizon keeps charging you the same rate after two years, what a ripoff. And Verizon has so much roaming charges. The customer service at this store rocks! I don't remember the manager's name, but he came from CA so we were chatting while finishing up my phone purchase and transfer from Verizon when he noticed a suspicious person in the corner. He got the customers away from the guy and asked one of the reps to keep an eye on him. The suspicious guy then left but came back later and tried to rip the phone off of the cable! WTF... He couldn't take anything and ran away. Kudos to the store manager for recognizing the suspect early and taking steps for customer safety. Great work! read more

I have upgraded my phones with T-Mobile when the G1 was first released and now the HTC HD2 released today. Both times I have been pushed to buy extra items or they would not sell me the phone. With the G1 it was a car charger and with the HD2 it was the warranty plan for $6 or $8 a month. They told me they wouldn't sell me the HD2 unless i purchased the Warranty. I had to tell them it was illegal to make me purchase the Warranty to sell me the phone. The 2 times I upgrade and 2 times pushed to buy extra stuff. Not cool. I am happy with T-Mobile in general just not my experiences at the stores. read more

I was in and out in minutes with a new plan that was more affordable than my old prepaid carrier, and no pressure at all to get a more expensive service plan I didn't need. I'm a recent T-Mobile convert, having previously been with Verizon since my first cell phone years ago. While I love having a cell phone, I absolutely dread ever having to enter a provider store. Ugh, the thought alone makes me cringe. The long lines, standing around waiting, the shrill repetative "your guarantee has expired," it's enough to make me chuck the phone myself. So far, I've had much better luck with T-Mobile representatives than I ever did at Verizon stores...Now don't get me wrong, this Factoria branch isn't anything spectacular, but the people working there do seem to know what they're doing (which you would think would be a requirement of most sales companies, but alas, it isn't). Anyway...the manager here was very helpful. My phone was wigging out with an unusual problem that apparently no one at T-Mobile had ever seen before, but they got me taken set up with a brand new replacement phone with no strings attached, no $50 deposit, no signing my life away. Not a fan of this store. Twice burned now. First I went here to switch carriers took almost 3 hours to complete the transaction. Second go in to trade in my ipad to get iPad Air and after an hour half they finally figure out that there is a system issue and they can't take my trade in due system error (IT has a ticket out for issue) and they will follow up with me later. Even though they have already activated a new line on my account for the new ipad that I don't have yet. Nice people crap slow service. And my new phone with supposedly amazing awesome coverage does not have service while I am at work. Makes me miss my old carrier. read more

T-Mobile ripped me off. i had a prepaid plan that was working fine, until T-Mobile , without any warning or explanation, stopped supporting the SIM card technology of my phone. They left me in the dark as i tried to troubleshoot the issue. I went to a local store only to find out that they cut off service, and refused to refund the $35 dollars that was left in my prepaid account balance. Very happy with service, actually I always was happy with their service. I had T-Mobile a few times and never really had a problem. I jumped ship to Verizon because I wanted to be on the largest and 'fastest' network. Although the network was large, the prices were too. Before coming back to T-Mo, I tried some MVNO's because of their promise of same service and low prices... you know what? T-Mo's prices ended up being the same. I have 4G LTE service which is noticeably faster than other peoples service (in Southern California). I pay $45 for unlimited everything and 1gb service for me and 3gb service for my wife on a family plan. I get wi-fi calling if I want it and no contract or hidden fees. I traveled recently to Phoenix/Glendale, Az and didn't have an issue. I think T-Mobile's changing up the wireless industry has been a blessing for the consumer. Great job T-mobile, you'll have a customer for a while. read more

Went into store in Factoria as I needed help with my sprint account. There are no sprint store available as they have merged with Tmobile. There is a sign on store that says they will service sprint customers. I just wanted to check rates for new plans. At that things went downhill. They told me the only way to get the reduced rate was to switch to Tmobile. Seriously they have merged! So I was a bit irritated but not rude. The person helping me was pleasant enough and then another women employee (maybe supervisor) said the store was at capacity and I had to leave and take the conversation outside. Frankly in all my years NEVER had I been treated so poorly. No one even was waiting to enter the store. I will never go back to my neighborhood store again and I have already told everyone I know about what happened. Hence my review!!!!!!!!!!!! Very disappointed. read more

I have been a loyal customer for 10 years and in these ten years I have never seen a worst service ever. Back in July I purchased an Samsung galaxy s20 under my plan for my brother. The rep that was helping us told us if we open another line then we will get 50% of the phone so I opened a new line got the phone after 2 months my brother decide to get his own plan and get separated from my plan so we called tmobile once again the t mobile expert told my brother he can get his own plan he don't need to keep two lines open to get the deal he received for his S20 galaxy he can close one of his line which he did and moved his line over under his plan. 2 months later I looked into my account and found out that his equipment was never transferred to his plan so I called t mobile spoke with multiple managers who kept promising me that they will remove the equipment in couple days. Two weeks later I still saw the equipment so I called again and spoke with another manager name Van she told me she can't move it but she will had my brother line back to my account and then remove it that's when we realize that the prize of the phone was never discounted to 50% off. My brother and I were paying for the full prize of the phone even though we opened a new line and paid extra for the new line so we could get the discount but we're we were never giving any discount on the phone so when I mentioned this to the manager name Van she said she can't help us with that since she don't see any promo applied to the phone even though they always say they records all the calls so I said please go ahead and listen to those phone call that the T-Mobile rep told us about the promo and we were promised of the discount she kept saying no we can't do that I said it's your agents fault why should we pay for their mistake she kept saying I can't do anything about it. Now I need to do this review just to show how frustrated we are not one mistake but a total of 5 mistake. First we were told of a sale for a phone that was 50% if you open a line which we did but never received the 50% discount on top of that we had to pay more for an extra line. Second when my brother got his own plan and got separated from my account The another t mobile expert told him he don't need to pay extra for another line he can close it and have the s50 transfer to the regular line and he should still get the same discount which he did and that didn't happen now that bring us to the third mistake when they transferred my brother lines to his own plan they never transferred his equipments under his plans so for past two months I been paying for my brothers equipments not one phone but two since one was his S 50 and other one was his wife phone which were both under my plan till two months ago even though they got their own line and plan I paid for two months of their equipments so that's where I stared calling t mobile talked to multiple managers and found out were robbed as well by not getting the discount as well. I will do my best to make sure my brother get what he was promised we shouldn't be Paying for T mobile experts mistakes T mobile needs to stand up and own it since they were the one who made multiple mistakes this is not how you should be treating your customers of 10 years or more. This is not fair specially during this pandemic we can't effort to pay for someone else's mistake so T mobile please have your CEO or someone who can do something look into this and also I am already looking to switch from T mobile this is unacceptable. I upgraded my service from the old flip phone to a 4G iPhone. The service rep told me I would get service inside my house with this. I don't. It's sketchy at work, too. The other day, a friend was in the hospital, dying. He called to say that he wanted to talk to his best friends and say goodbye before he died. Guess whose phone didn't work? I got the message after he was gone. I am so hurt I can't even express it. I changed my plan right after I upgraded the phone. I called to complain about the lack of service. The rep on the phone added in another plan in the interim that I hadn't signed up for and never signed up for and that cost an extra $100. It took over 16 hours of being on chat with their reps to get it fixed. Person after person got on and told me to just pay it. They had the unmitigated gall to try to explain that it was something with pro-rating the bill, not an extra charge and all kinds of completely idiotic other stuff. I think it's off now. I think. Dec 18, 2017. I received an email this morning notifying me of the account activation for 4 new lines from T-Mobile today. Guess what? I didn't place an order for any accounts! I immediately called customer care to notify them about this fraudulent activity. The representative said the order had already shipped to arrive today. She got off the phone quickly so she could attempt to cancel the order, but promised to call me back. Un-freakin-believable!!! I thought my last experience with them might have just been an exception. Now, I have proof that T-Mobile has some very serious problems with their business processes and possibly employees with a lack of integrity. Dont sign any contract with T-Mobile the calls constantly drops connection gets lost 100 times a day so dont even think signing up with metro pcs too T-Mobile got them so they are the same stay away from T-Mobile if they want their customers back they need to work harder get more antenna spent some money on the connection and more towers. At this point T-Mobile sucks.sprint and boost ate very good for the money try you wont be sorry im not an sales person i actually have T-Mobile and boost. I went into this store to change my service from ATT to t-mobile because I wanted to get the unlimited data plan. We switched to a new iPhone 7 and then was told that we had to get a bundle package of $500 of accessories for me and my wife. I told the salesperson, Bunny, that i did not see that bundle package anywhere on the t mobile website and he said that I had to do it. Being a sucker, I said ok and got random accessories at the store and spent $500 total. A day later, I felt very suspicious and went back to ask another salesperson and he told me no, I didn't need to get the package. I asked another sales associate and she said no too! Luckily, they helped me cancel so that I did not need to get $500 worth of unneeded products. Don't get duped by Bunny (his real name is something else but I can't remember). Well T-Mobile after 16 years as a customer, I will be moving on. Putting up with your poor quality of customer service, people from a different country, hard to unerstand their English. I don't understand how your T. I. department can trouble shoot our cell phones 9,000 miles away, and still not able to understand their English. That's why our unemployement goes up. Because of companies like you that set up in other countries. The price for a cell phone $1,000 are you freaking kidding me, and they only last for 2 years. T-mobile is now offering a single share of stock to loyal patrons. Sounds good doesn't it? After multiple attempts, 6-7 times to register for this "reward", and 15 attempts at submission, I am giving up my claim. Simply too much personal information required too many times in the process and they are still not happy. I am not happy as well.. they have 2 pieces of my ID as well as online information And give no ease to the requirement of an ID that clearly states it should NOT be use for "identification purposes" It's a great way to "give" something and not "give it at all". Now that I am unwilling to participate, How can I get the ID files I sent them back? I am very uncomfortable with this. read more

This location by far doesn't seem like Tmobile as all location for tmobile are rude and very unprofessional. This location is knowledgeable and has excellent customer service. I would have left tmobile if it wasn't for this location. Other locations should follow in the steps of this place for customer service. read more

In June of 2018 I purchased two iPhones at this location as I was promised that they were buy one get one free. The sales person informed me that I would get a gift card in the mail but it would take a while. I waited a few months and no gift card. Finally I called customer support and they had no record of this promotion! They escalated with their supervisors and called me on December 19 to inform me it was going through another level of escalation and they would call me in a few weeks. I never heard anything so I finally called back two months later and it was denied! Buyer beware if they promise you a free phone! It is definitely not free! Don't shop here. read more

A better experience than the self-serve website although, be prepared for a wait because apparently I'm not the only person who has the same opinion of their website. The employees in the store can almost always find better deals for you than you can on your own. That's reason enough for going to the store. read more

The Factoria store is one of the better ones. I spoke to Deepak (I believe) there who in 5 minutes found a way to help me (I hope -- work in progress) to a problem with which I have spent 4-1/2 fruitless hours on a phone with Customer Service the previous day, and additional 1-1/2 worse-than-fruitless hours in person at the BSQM store on that day (where they deleted some very important to me files from the phone -- it all started because I could not find a way to backup nor copy these files :-( ). Still, I feel I usually get competent technical help at the Factoria store, though the wait times can be very long, and sometimes common sense does not seems to abound. BTW, I really hate the queue managed on tablets by the staff at any of the stores. I do not know why, but while cooling my heels I did notice that customers who came later than me would be helped ahead of me, sometimes by the same person who would later help me -- so it is not a staff skills issue. I guess these customers may have appointments (who makes appointments just to shop?), or questions requiring short answers, but it is still annoying to sit in the store for half an hour, seeing later customers getting help. It is just my peeve about technology. read more
