This was the worst customer service especially from their assistant manager, Almando B. He was so…read moreunhelpful, unresponsive, and untrained "manager", if you can consider one who doesn't manage, but deflect and blame Verizon Fios and cite laws how they can't provide the contact info of the manager when he shared his own business card. Clearly, he was not trained in customer service, especially for the elderly or those with disabilities. Some issues included: 1)You'll get skipped in the queue despite checking-in and verifying your account with a shirt color to identify you. 2) The manager wouldn't even consider crediting a bill for no wireless service for 11 months after activating a second eSIM on an iPhone for a week in Japan. 3) He'll also will send you on a wild goose chase deferring the problem to Fios internet when their wireless store has signs to tell you to bundle mobile and internet without telling or guiding you how to ensure you benefit from this bundled mobile/internet discount, which disappeared for our entire family with three separate phone/internet accounts for five years or more repeatedly despite being loyal customers for over two decades of being screwed by Verizon's staff. 4) No accountability to know what happened in a digital era where their records tell you nothing to help you troubleshoot who did what and when for justifying how your cell phone bill jumps from $35 to $70/month for a wireless plan. 5) No guidance to explain or brochures on the on the types of plans they offer except telling me to check a "billboard" when there was none except for me to infer the dysfunctional touch screens were supposed to show me the types of plans and pricing (instead of not being able to get passed the start screen). I could list an ongoing list of issues as supported by the 2 out of 5 star rating from over 100 reviews. I would never go back to this store except to ensure the poor precedent set is stopped and improved. It just reinforces the poor reputation of Verizon as a vulture or villain when it hires and lets these issues recur at the expense of frustrated customers who try and figure out how to make these two departments within the same company collaborate for their interdependent deals without any resolution because they can get away with the worst service repeatedly without any consequences.

Excellent customer service experience!…read more Worked with agent Ann David over the phone. She is knowledgeable, thorough and extremely patient (I ask a lot of questions!) I began the day prepared to cancel RCN service....i am happy to remain an RCN customer. Ann made what cou have been a frustrating experience into an easy one. I wish all customer service agents would be as dedicated and professional as Ann I was not asked to post a review

As has been said before by many others, this company has bad customer service. Far worse than the…read moreservice is their dishonesty. Astound is a good name for these people. The low level customer service and the way the company bilks customers is astounding. They claim to be giving you a five (5) year price lock. In my case, two months later they change the name of your promotion to Promotion for Life. They say that this means that only the taxes can go up if they do, but not the price for the service in my case, $40.00 with $5.66 in taxes for a total of $45.66. Do not be fooled. All their promotions, regardless of names, can be renamed and repriced at any time. They actively promote Autobilling, which means they take the money directly out of your bank account each month. It is not worth getting a $5 reduction to have these crooks get access to your bank account. Once you provide them with your bank account number, they can help themselves to any amount. Prices with Astound change at the drop of a hat. They do this by claiming that your plan's name was changed. What this means is that they hiked the price. Am actively going to see if I can find a better deal elsewhere. These people are nasty and only interested in bilking customers. These are seasoned scam artists.
