Through no fault of theirs, I've had these guys make three trips in the last month. All were super…read moreprofessional and helpful. Carlos visited the first time to clean out the vent, and diagnose the problem (the vent cover on the exterior was broken). He came back a second time with another tech to install the cover (a two-man job because of the awkward location of the vent opening two floors up directly over a set of stairs!), and then when a bad smell developed, they sent Cory out who found that a bird had gotten all the way down the vent and died near the dryer. Cory deserves hazard pay for that one, but they didn't charge us because they'd been out three times (even though it wasn't their fault). All 3 techs I met (I think 3 of the 4 who work there) were very professional and helpful. Appointments are easy to book, they always arrived in the scheduled window and they got the job done even though the back of the dryer is nearly impossible to access given that it's wedged into a pantry. I can't recommend them highly enough!

It gave me nothing but issues. Corey came out about a half dozen times over the years to patch the roof. He inspected my attic and determined the last contractor didn't flash the chimney correctly which led to leaks. He helped me when there was ice buildup on a bay window roof. He fixed it all. When it was time for a new roof and gutter system, Corey's quote was competitive with other roofers, so it was an obvious choice going with him. He's easy to email or text and I've referred him multiple times to friends. I love that he's a Rhode Islander and stands by his work.

They were quick to come out and were very kind in assessing the work and offered a fair quote. I liked how they itemized everything and felt they were reputable and trustworthy. I called Corey Ferschhke and we discussed details of scheduling and set the date for work to be done. Two weeks from today. We took the time off work to be available and make sure the work went smoothly. We informed our real estate agent the work was planned and she can move forward with plans. 3 days prior to work, we started to become nervous. We hadn't heard from them for confirmation or anything for 11 days. We decided to call and confirm. -Left a voicemail, no reply. -Next day, 2 days before work start, call, no reply. Text message, no reply. -Called 1 day before work start, a woman answered and told me someone would call back. No one called back. -On the day of start, I knew Ferschke Construction burned us. We had not heard from them for 2 weeks and work was supposed to start early tomorrow morning. That night, at 8:20, less than 12 hours from work time, we get a text message from a random number saying they won't be able to come as planned tomorrow but Monday the'll do the work....uh...what? I work Monday. The first thought in my mind was how much money we had just lost by trusting Ferschke Construction. Money we couldn't afford to lose. Of course we got some hollow text message apology, but does that make up for the lost wages, waste of 2 weeks, and disrespect? Insulting. This was particularly upsetting because initially they seemed like normal, honest people. As homeowners, you develop acute sense of who not to trust and who to stay far away from. But these guys pulled a fast one on my family in the 9th inning and expressed no interest in making it right. My family and I were left worse off by trusting Ferschke Construction. Took my teenager daughter to buy a dress, she found one she liked but wanted to buy it the next day…read moreso she could bring her own money. She put the dress on hold, was told the hold would last till the next day until closing time. The next day we went to buy it and pick it up only to learn the dress had been put back on the floor and were asked if we had already checked the floor before going to retrieve our hold. The same dress on the display had lipstick and a fray on it (which the dress we had put on hold did not). We had to order it online and could not pay in cash. Anthropology has always done holds, and when reassured the hold would be there it is very disappointing to find it was gone, especially an expensive dress like the one we were buying.
