I used to pay a LOT for Verizon. I was pressured into getting a work phone to access our company's secure sites so rather than pay top dollar for Verizon and the work phone, or use my personal number for the work # and lose ownership of the #, I switched my personal phone to Metro PCS. I lost my unlimited internet data I was grandfathered in with Verizon but got it with Metro. After I left my company I considered switching back to Verizon but I had been very happy with Metro AND the very low price. I never had trouble with reception (especially after T-Mobile bought them), had a lot of hotspot data, and the only negative was that customer service was a bit more challenging if needed but they were always pleasant and helpful. The negative perception of Metro by others as a "cheap" service meant for low income people was not pleasant. I've known people who refused to go on Metro and instead got much more expensive plans on Verizon with far less data and often no hotspot data. I could easily pay more but found no reason to do so. I buy my own phone. Love the flexibility of no contract and a consistent bill. The Metro stores are the worst part of having Metro in my experience, except maybe the company stores. The franchised store employees are often not honest in my experience. Hopefully that has changed.

There are locked doors that you can only be let into, after the check-in process. Tell them who you are and that you're a first timer. They'll need a form of ID so they can register that you visited. I don't believe it's an option to refuse. Once you get registered, you can go in and shop. Tell the person who comes to help you, that you're a newb (if you are) and they'll want to know a few things about what you're looking for. It helps if you do a little research before you go. I literally phoned a friend who has been going to dispensaries for a while. She explained the ins and outs about certain products and what they do before I went so I generally knew I didn't want to smoke anything and that gummies would be my chosen delivery mechanism. There are different types of processing they do, just like with food and drug processing that you should be aware. Solvents are used in some of the manufacturing processes, but you can get solvent free versions which is what I prefer. I found that the gummies are slightly softer and their flavor is much better in my opinion. I tried watermelon, cherry, and berry flavors (dark berry - looks blue) and the brand I decided to go with is solvent free. I mean, why put bad chemicals in your body when you're going with natural products like these? They cost a little more but in my opinion, they're worth it. I need to get back to the local store. This one is in Oxford. There's another that I went to for my first time over in Walled Lake. Both are excellent stores. The people at Oxford are very knowledgeable, friendly, and happy (go figure, lol!) They'll answer all your questions and they're very patient if they're not super crowded. If you're concerned about it being too crowded to get your questions asked and answered, call the store before you go to see how busy they are and tell them you're a newb and have lots of questions. Lucido is a prime example of how great customer service goes a long way in building loyal customers. I was so pleased by that initial experience that I've gone back to them on multiple occasions for other items and we even bought our wedding bands there! I worked with a number of the staff at the Birmingham location, and they were all great, but I have to single out one: Sahrob Jabero. Sahrob has been absolutely fantastic to work with throughout the last year or two. Over the course of multiple visits and a lot of emails, she really helped me find the perfect engagement ring that my now-wife absolutely adored when I presented it to her and still cherishes to this day. Sahrob has continued to be super helpful and friendly every time I've gone back for other items, which is a large part of the reason I keep returning. I ordered a Rolex and she sends me texts every 6-9 months that I should be getting it, soon. She then had me come in at different times(5X) and tries to hustle me, by trying to sell me some of their jewelry that has about as much value as a fake diamond. Each time I came the hustle started with, my watch is coming and they I should buy something new for my wife. I'm there for the new Rolex. Once again? I have wasted my time and her texts continue with her bull shit and deceit. After waiting 3 years, I still have no Rolex from Lucido's and she continues to send me her BS texts. I finally tell her to get lost and she plays the blame game. Candace might look good, play the game-good, with her little gold Rolex, but she is your typical clown full of a masquerade of dishonesty and circus games. My advice? This is a clown show! They know their diamonds are worthless. Buy a 10K diamond on Monday and on Friday, the most any jeweler is gong to give you is $500. There is absolutely no resale value in diamonds. They are a scam! The reason they play games with their Rolex's. Is that certain (Superman , Batman watches) have great resale value. Walk into their doors and watch the makeup fall off, these clowns!

Today Beck Construction completed my neighbor's kitchen. Only 3 weeks and they even carefully removed all original cabinets so they can be installed elsewhere. Excellent job! 3 weeks ago on June 15, 2026 RenovationsNow finally completed my kitchen remodel that began December 01, 2025. And it took 7 months. SEVEN MONTHS! I kept asking Jeremy the Proj Mgr to come and see what was going on. He NEVER came not once. Look up my old reviews to know my complaints have been ongoing. I have pictures, text and email communications (including those I sent that never received a response). Finally two 'bathroom techs' came to look at my complaints (different from the install techs) and found ALL my complaints were justified and they saw first hand all the issues I was continually complaining about. Jeremy would have seen that I was justified complaining if he would have honored even one of my requests and see the crap that was going on. I called the office about a chalazion in my eye and asked when I could come in they told me they can squeeze me in 30 minutes from them. I came early was called back in 2 minutes and then the doctor was in quickly after. I saw Dr. Clune and he is super nice and kind and put me at ease about my eye problem. The front desk staff and medical assistants were so kind and nice. I am so happy I found this place!

Somehow I was passing by the store, remembered, contacted the staff and they were supposed to send a voucher to my address. Nothing received...Yesterday, I sent a new message and the owner was very rude saying that I should have received it some time ago by mail ( even though they do not have any comprobatory document showing Post Office receipt ), and putting in a very rude way of doubt if I was being honest as they could not find anything in my name... I got so sad with that and for sure will never recomend business with them. Just asked the owner to disregard my request due to this unacceptable way to deal with a customer. So sad...because of a 25 bucks...
