so disappointed in the service we recieved today. My mother walked in the store, and there were two…read moreemployees. one was a man and one was a lady with dark hair. the lady said "hello". to me, saying hello to customers is standard and indicates they see you in the store. My mother walked up the man and began to ask him a question because no one was standing in front of him. the lady said "he is with a customer, that's why i said hello". first of all, that's totally fine that he is helping someone else. she was in no rush and said "oh i'm sorry" and walked over the woman. when she arrived at the woman, the employee said AGAIN "that's why i said hello, he was with someone". now come on, that's overkill. she was rude and rolled her eyes like my mom had done something crazy. i've never heard of hello meaning "come to me". usually the words, "i'm open, how can i help you" indicate that? my mom simply took her business somewhere else and didn't argue because there's no reason for that. Lets not be rude, to be rude.

I asked them to take it back because I couldn't use it. I looked underneath the blades and they hadn't even cleaned the blades - which they charged me extra for. They took it back and accused me of using it - which I didn't. We got into an argument and they charged me another $250 for looking at it. When they delivered it again, it sounded like an old junky car. I paid them so much money and they turned out to be incompetent and liars. I was going to sue them in small claims court, but decided I didn't want to spend one more minute on it.

It is a clean, well-organized store for the amount of stock/ variety, although it is 33 yrs. old and was told it will be remodeled soon. We were greeted on arrival and were helped by friendly and energetic staff. I understand sometimes in retail you have busy periods and could use more than 1-2 checkers. Reality is, if someone can't come in and replacement not found, a manager helps or customers may have to wait a bit. The majority of customers at these stores are patient and gracious. I get the feeling it might be rural upbringing. Nice change from what I experienced when working retail in the city in my teens!
