Wow! What an amazing "thrift" store! You'll find all kinds of clothes, shoes and accessories here…read moreat incredible prices! Everything that doesn't sell at regular Buffalo Exchange stores gets sent here to be sold at steep discounts. I'm talking $1-8 per item, for solid brands such as Free People, Anthropologie, Madewell, J.Crew, LOFT and more. Most items are still in very good shape with no flaws but be sure to look over each piece of clothing before buying. I found a few shirts missing buttons but that's an easy fix. I did some shopping for myself, a friend, and my fiancé and walked away with 43 items for a grand total of $117. It feels like I'm stealing, it's such a good deal! The employees here were friendly and my fellow shoppers were respectful. Highly recommend stopping by here for some great clothes at very low prices.

I learned this by chance when we arrived back to Tubac to find both bike tires flat as tortillas. The idea of hauling them to Tucson was enough to ruin a perfectly good day, so I did a quick search and--hallelujah--found Peter's shop just three miles away. Two hours later, both bikes were tuned, revived, and ready to roll. Hero Status Awarded!

The first I heard of their relocation was by accident, when I stopped by 2 days before my prescription was due (on a Friday). I was directed by the new owner of the gas station/market to a sign on the door that said "text your bday to transfer your prescription either to Walgreens or Walmart. I requested Walmart, called next morning and was told that because I had a controlled substance, only my doctor could call the prescription in and the pharmacist should have known that. Luckily, I was not out of my meds and on Monday, I called my doctor to request they move my prescription to a new pharmacy. The Rio Rico pharmacy was not answering calls, so I had to call my doctor again and explain what had happened. I finally got my prescription filled, but am extremely unhappy with Rio Rico Pharmacy, due to their lack of communication. Will never fill a script here again. Would give them a minus one, if I could.

So far we've had multiple opportunities to visit of the years and are never, ever disappointed with this beautiful town, which appears more like a village. We've done day trips and stayed weekends - the weekend is best 'cause it allows you to soak in more of the community, the hospitality, the conviviality and the atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of the big city or urban sprawl - back to nature you might say. And our favorite place to visit is La Entrada de Tubac (Tubac's Entrance), rightfully so. Starting with the best coffee in town at Tubac Deli & Coffee, or an extra fine lunch or dinner at Elvira's, the quaint shopping of terrific and unique cooking doodads at Tumacookery, fabulous fine arts at Cobalt Fine Arts, the distinctiveness of Mas y Mas, and so many other establishments here. One can spend a day here and not see the rest of town. That's why a weekend getaway is our opt for most of the time. Great place to visit, beautiful place to enjoy.
