I have been a T-Mobile customer for the past 10 years. Prior to having my own account opened, I had one with my family. Yesterday was the first time I have ever worked with a T-Mobile representative who did not instantly offer to set up my brand new iPhone with me. When I mentioned that I didn't know how to set it up, she told me it was really easy and I could just do it at home. I asked if when I turned on my iPhone, would it automatically have my new number attached. She said yes and did not give me any further instructions. She seemed both unwilling to help me, and unwilling speak with me in any real detail. I understand that sometimes retail workers have a bad day - I manage a luxury jewelry company - I get it, we are human. However, I work from my iPhone. A little before midnight, I discovered that she was wrong and my number was not attached to my phone. This resulted in spending 20 minutes on the phone with T-Mobile customer care. Thankfully customer care was much more helpful over the phone than this woman in the store was. The customer care rep even mentioned that my experience was unusual and he apologized to me over the phone on behalf of her. While I love the T-Mobile company, I wouldn't recommended the sales rep who's number ends in 373 at this location. The only reason I am giving three stars is because I love this company and I am assuming the other workers in this store would reflect the great customer service I have had with every other employee I have encountered in the multiple locations I have been. read more
