There was a nice selection of sizes, colors & finishes for the training lines I wanted. My son also found some Nike yoga pieces that he liked as well. Good price. Good Value. My issue today was SERVICE or lack there of. There was no sense of urgency or respect for the patrons time. Unlike my experiences in Oxon Hill & definitely not like the Nike Unite stores in NYC. I saw a young lady casually standing at the online order booth on her phone. Two employees at the registers dealing with customers with extenuating situations & others (maybe managers) just buzzing around the store as the line continued to grow. There were literally only 2 people in front of us and we were in line 30 minutes. To make matters worse, my 15% in store reward from my Nike app was NOT applied. I returned to the store but couldn't get anyone's attention to address. Had to leave annoyed in order to get back to work.

I said I wanted off cigs and asked about vaping and he said this was the place to go. I went in knowing nothing at all, and explained to Charles what I wanted and how clueless I was. He set me up with a great starter kit, set up my device for me, and answered my many questions. When I broke my device (2 days later because I am clumsy) I went back and wanted to buy a new starter kit. Will was working at the time, and he explained that I didn't need a whole new set-up, just a tank to replace the one I ruined. He also let me know what a better tank might be than the one I had--cheaper and higher quality. I would have been an easy up-sell, but he wanted me to have quality and value rather than a pricey sale. I've been going there since and have bought different mods and many juices. Charles and Will ALWAYS take as much time as I need to answer my questions, give their own experiences, talk about what people have liked and disliked, etc. I never feel rushed. They will let you try as many juices as you like so you find one you really enjoy, and Charles is like a juice sommelier--I can go in with vague "I want something like this but not that" and he will suggest something I absolutely love. The in-house brand is inexpensive and very good, and they carry Gentleman's Brew (the Wet Dream and Watermelon Falls are not to be missed!). They also have CBD additives that they chose for quality and price combined. VA vapes isn't my closest shop, and I know I can order things online easily elsewhere, but for the knowledgeable staff and carefully curated selection of products, this is my favorite stop for vape supplies!

I had my eyes on the Peloton (even pre-COVID), but couldn't bring myself to pay so much for a bike without actually trying it out. When I found out that the Bethesda Peloton showroom was finally opened again, I immediately made an appointment to come in and try out the bike. Before you are able to try the bike, your temperature is checked. They currently aren't allowing people to try the bike with cycling shoes, so you just cycle with the shoes you have on. You get fitted on the bike, pick a class, and off you go! The bike itself was comfortable and I enjoyed my 12 minute ride. Definitely come prepared to work out because you will sweat! Note that you do have to wear your mask while cycling, which isn't too bad. Justin, my sales specialist, was super friendly and made my ride seamless. I like how I didn't feel pressured to buy the bike. He answered all my questions (I had quite a few!) on and off the bike. He showed me how to use the monitor, as well as adjust the bike, and gave me my bike measurements (seat depth and height, handlebar height) for future rides. In addition to the bike, you could also try out the treadmill. The store has Peloton apparel as well. Parking isn't too bad, with metered street parking and a couple garages within walking distance. If you are on the fence about purchasing a Peloton, I suggest making an appointment to come in and try the bike for yourself. If you are military or a front line worker, Peloton is currently offering The Essentials package for free. Also make sure to get a referral code from a friend who has a bike so you get $100 towards your accessories. I'm counting down the days until my bike gets delivered!
