Beware of this company! They were hired by my home warranty company. They sent a new plumber out who advised that he snaked my line to the street! Within hours of him leaving I had water in my basement which I didn't have prior to him coming! I called the company three times which they said they would have a manager call me, which never happened. What I did get was a bill for an additional $350 on top of the $50 service fees I had to pay and the $150 my warranty paid. What's interesting is that I asked the plumber how much the job would have costed me without my warranty and he said $250!! So I'm confused at how a $250 job was billed at $550. My warranty company called them and they said they wouldn't send anyone out until I paid the additional $350. I'm also confused at how he "snaked the line to the street" and that same line is still clogged per the new plumber currently working in my basement. He also cracked the line cap which is why the water is backing up in the basement and not in the pipes as it initially did! I'm so confused and completely disgusted by how this business handles customers! Beware and learn from my nightmare! read more

Was in need of water heater urgently - some one in my neighborhood recommended TK mechanical. got in touch - Tadeh gave me informal qoute over the phone. I mentioned another qoute and asked if he could do slightly better than that. He said maybe (50 bucks or so) We decided Tuesday Feb 13 for install. I get a text "Do you have hot water now?" I said no. Then he texted me i would like to stop by this weekend to get "deposit" I said how much is deposit? He said 50% I said that is unusual- i usually sign estimate and pay after work is done Then he said 30% I told him because of this unusual behavior i have lost trust in him. He did acknowledge that and he felt the same. Bottom line - stay away - this kind of behavior is a RED FLAG- not above board behavior- very shady read more

Furnace stopped blowing warm air. Couldn't find aNy parts at the local hardware stores so contacted TK. They asked for a picture of the part, bought it and came the same day to do the repair. Followed up the next day to make sure everything was still running smooth. Highly recommend for quality of work, timely service and excellent customer service. read more

Tadeh and TK Mechanical are a guarantee...period! I have been usuing TK for some years now. Last week I bit the bullet and had TK install a new gas furnace and AC compressor to replace an old one. His technicians were thorough and very professional, with added attention to keeping my home clean, not leaving until everything was just right. Not only that, Tadeh, himself, came out some days prior just to maximize the efficiency of my old unit since he was unable to install the new one for a bit. TK did not charge me for that visit! We used TK Mechanical to repair our AC unit last year. I believe it was the owner who came out. He suspected a leak so he added freon, power washed the exterior of the unit, and charged us nearly double what he estimated. I wouldn't have minded the charge if his services actually fixed our problem but it didn't and the problems returned within a couple of weeks. Based on my experience I would not recommend this company. read more

T K Mechanical did a great job helping us out quickly a couple months ago when our AC started leaking water. I called in the afternoon, and they came the same day to fix the problem (a drip pan overflowed, my fault for not getting preventative maintenance done more often on our HVAC system). Anyway, T K Mechanical is one of four or five HVAC contractors with their insurance and other info already on file and authorized to do work in our condo complex -- they were already on-site that day working on another condo unit, and their tech came a little before 5 pm and stayed until about 6 pm to do the work on our unit, after normal business hours. So nice and helpful of them to do that rather than have us wait, and the work was of great quality. I'll definitely be going with them for my HVAC work from now on. read more

Would give no stars if we could. Our home warranty company gave us this companies to use when our water heater stopped working. Called to make the appointment, was scheduled and an email confirmation for 10-12:00. They never showed up nor did they call. When 1:00 came and went we tried contacting them through our warranty company who was told our appointment was 10-2:00, we were next and they were right around the corner. Needless to say they never showed up nor did they call us. Went the entire weekend with no hot water and come Monday morning we contacted another company that our warranty company gave us and they showed up that day and a few hours after placing the call even though they we were booked. We do NOT recommend TK Mechanical and will NOT use them again at any point in the future. read more

My HVAC started leaking and we noticed at 7pm on a Friday night right before a holiday. Home repair is never convenient! I used Yelp to find a well rated HVAC repair company in my area and called four. TK was the most fair in pricing and he was available to come out within just a couple of hours on a Friday night! He had on a mask and shoe covers that he removed several times to go in and out of my house. He was extremely efficient and didn't need to order parts or drag out the repair.
