They had a lot of perfume this was around Christmas. That was the only reason why I came to shop. I found what I was looking for.

So, naturally when my dad was after a few polos and some pants, we loaded up and headed for Belk in Ashley Park. Between the two of us, we were able to scoop up a 3 polos, 2 button-ups, three pair of jeans, a pair of socks and a t-shirt that totaled about $350. Not the cheapest, but I was good with it. The majority of cost came from the jeans, which had lackluster sales honestly. Speaking of sales, Belk is usually pretty good at having sales worth checking out. Outside of a pair of jeans, I do not think I have paid full price for anything else at Belk. As echoed in many other reviews, the service is a bit lacking here. We walked by or were passed by a number of associates that never spoke a word to us and while the cashier was efficient, she was less than up for conversation outside of the Belk credit card. Overall, I do not mind this Belk location. I come here for the goods, not the conversation, but they could work on that part to make the full experience a bit better.

It showed her ability to speak in a courteous and positive manner to a customer. I purchased a 1700.00 watch and was advised by sales clerk that i would receive an email with tracking information etc shortly via email. Three days later no email and no information listed online that i made the purchase. Stopped by the store and the female clerk was rude as one can get and when i asked a simple question she escalated to a manager saying i was rude. I was concerned that a watch that i had paid for may have been a mix up and or a problem. The manager "Aaron" was incredibly kind and called customer service to find the watch, needless to say it had not been selected (pulled) and or packaged for shipping. I advised to please cancel the order ill get one somewhere else, my thinking is, if you cant give better service and a watch is not shipped as agreed then we have a slight problem, I advised at time of of purchase it was gift and would appreciate it on time. I got an email that the sale had been canceled, finally, the conduct of the clerk at the jewelry department contributed to me canceling this order, if i'm going to spend money on a watch id appreciate it if there was some good old customer service, doesn't matter if the watch cost 170.00 or 1700.00 Ill not be going back.

But today 8/22/2020 around 7:00 pm was a horrible experience and I'm not quite sure we will ever come back. Big Lots, Newnan, Ga Cashier, I wish I had her name, yelled at my husband Charlie to get back 6 feet from the lady being rung up at her register. Charlie was 6 feet back and standing on the mark on the floor. Actually the customer at the register wasn't standing on the mark on the floor at the register, she was off of it which actually made Charlie further than 6 feet. Customer on the mark behind Charlie stated this to the cashier. Now mind you, both Charlie and I were wearing face mask! But she kept yelling. I was so frustrated at this point, I walked out of the store. And the customer yelled at me that I was too close to her, I said "Mamm, I walked around you, and I'm leaving". Now mind you she came up behind me and kept yelling at me. Then she went to her car and told her husband. A huge man stepped out of the car and watched me as I got into our truck. Charlie came on and put his purchase in the truck and got in. Now these folks waited in their car until we left then followed us to our next stop, Publix. Thank goodness they kept going and we turned it. It made both me and my husband very uncomfortable, I'm handicap and both me and my husband are senior citizens.

I am not sure if it came from underneath the sectional sofa that I had just sat on to see if it was comfortable. I was very interested in purchasing it. Back to the overgrown rat.. this rodent ran under a shelf when I screamed and ran. Only one employee was concerned or should I say asked that was wrong. So I told the whole store" there is a big ass rat in here". Well needless to say everyone kept on working as if nothing happened. So I left and will never ever shop at the Newnan Big lots store again. I gave one star because I couldn't leave it blank.

My family has been a JC Penney family for years, so when this location opened up in Newnan, we were all pumped...especially my mother! Parking is no issue, as there is a large dedicated lot for the store. And if there ever was an issues there are plenty of over flow spaces at nearby businesses. My father and I enjoy JCP for their shirts, specifically polos and button-ups. They always a great selection at great prices! Additionally, I have been able to snag some off-the-rack suits from JCP for fantastic prices...like a full suit for around $100. Totally worth it! Outside of formal wear, JCP has stepped up their athletic/ath-leisure section. Prices for these items are still a little higher than I like to pay, but the selection is growing and impressive. Outside of clothing, I enjoy shopping JCP during the holidays as about 40% of my total gifts for my immediate family comes from JCP...and they don't mind one bit! Additionally, when we were kids we used to hit up JC Penney for family portraits and now my sister keeps that tradition alive with her family. I will say that those pics still come out as amazing as they did 20+ years ago! Overall, this is a great location that I have never had any issues with. It is a staple in shopping for the family and will remain so as long as they are open!

They have chicken coops, pen supplies, medicine for your animals and pretty much anything you'd need for your garden. In the spring they even have chicks for sale. If you are just here to browse on your own or grab something quick, your visit will usually go smoothly. If you are ever in need of assistance by a team member, that's where things get sketchy. Do you need a heavy item brought to the front? Expect an hour wait. Do you have a question about their products or need help finding something? Good luck finding an associate to ask, you'll need even more luck finding one that actually knows anything about farming. Are you in line at the customer service counter? Just go up front and tell a cashier you need assistance, no one will pass you by for days at the CS counter. I've personally assisted more than a few elderly woman with heavy stuff, not only inside the store but as they were trying to get it inside their car because there was no one else around to help. I've tried other Tractor Supply locations and I know this is not the norm, the Fayetteville location has some of the friendliest associates around. When I need actual assistance, like buying a new coop, I've learned to just go there instead.
