But today 8/22/2020 around 7:00 pm was a horrible experience and I'm not quite sure we will ever come back. Big Lots, Newnan, Ga Cashier, I wish I had her name, yelled at my husband Charlie to get back 6 feet from the lady being rung up at her register. Charlie was 6 feet back and standing on the mark on the floor. Actually the customer at the register wasn't standing on the mark on the floor at the register, she was off of it which actually made Charlie further than 6 feet. Customer on the mark behind Charlie stated this to the cashier. Now mind you, both Charlie and I were wearing face mask! But she kept yelling. I was so frustrated at this point, I walked out of the store. And the customer yelled at me that I was too close to her, I said "Mamm, I walked around you, and I'm leaving". Now mind you she came up behind me and kept yelling at me. Then she went to her car and told her husband. A huge man stepped out of the car and watched me as I got into our truck. Charlie came on and put his purchase in the truck and got in. Now these folks waited in their car until we left then followed us to our next stop, Publix. Thank goodness they kept going and we turned it. It made both me and my husband very uncomfortable, I'm handicap and both me and my husband are senior citizens.

I am not sure if it came from underneath the sectional sofa that I had just sat on to see if it was comfortable. I was very interested in purchasing it. Back to the overgrown rat.. this rodent ran under a shelf when I screamed and ran. Only one employee was concerned or should I say asked that was wrong. So I told the whole store" there is a big ass rat in here". Well needless to say everyone kept on working as if nothing happened. So I left and will never ever shop at the Newnan Big lots store again. I gave one star because I couldn't leave it blank.

Kohl's has always been a go-to for me in finding business casual clothing through out the years, this location in particular, especially when I am back home in Newnan. It remains a constant spot for me and my dad due to the sales, which are normally pretty solid on majority of items throughout the store. On the latest trip in, I took my dad for some new clothes after losing a bunch of weight. We were able to get majority of a new wardrobe at good prices here, which was a relief because neither of us wanted to go to several other stores. Returns are usually pretty easy with Kohl's as well, which is another reason why they are a good option. Service is hit and miss at this location. Registers tend to back up easily and it is usually pretty tough to find someone on the floor that can assist in the right department. Never a massive issue, but aggravating in the moment. Overall, this Kohl's is a solid spot and will continue to be a go-to for the family when the need arises!

Since new management arrived, my spouse, who has worked there for years, and other employees face harassment and disrespect. The environment is toxic, leaving my wife emotionally broken. I've seen the manager, Brian, acting aggressively and under the influence during visits, which is unsafe for staff and customers alike. My shifts change frequently to support my spouse, forcing other officers to rearrange their schedules--this ripple effect stresses many families, including mine. Upon walking in, the young man (Kordale) who was at the first cash register greeted us and welcomed us to Ross. I headed to the Mens section and of course I started in the sow section. I was excited to see a wide variety of footwear. Not only is there a variety but it's a good variety for any occasion. The men's section as a whole had a lot to offer. As I wasn't looking for anything specific it was great to have an assortment of styles to choose from... After spending about 40 minutes in the section I ended up buying a few shirts. Though the line was long the cashiers were swift with checkout without sacrificing service. Don't ask me how, but as I was in line I ended up picking up some Swedish Fish and Salted Caramel Syrup for my coffee. To my defense, they were both looking at me and calling my name so I had to buy them. LoL! All in all this was a great experience. The store was super clean. The staff were all friendly and the racks were full with something for everyone. I will definitely be back again.
