We were looking at a living room set in the store and the price marked was 2699.00. There was also a 10 percent discount for Labor Day weekend along with 0 percent financing for 2 years. When we decided to move forward we found that Ashley had raised the price by 10 percent to 3000.00. Even though the price was clearly marked at 2699.00 We were told that the sign hadn't been changed to reflect the price increase. Felt like I was at a car dealership and they were charging above the MSRP and wouldn't honor the price. Very disappointed so we just left and decided to buy furniture elsewhere. My husband and I were looking for a couch for our bonus room and decided to give Ashley furniture a try. When we arrived in the store, Warren, the sales person greeted us. We told him we were looking around, and he gave us a brief description of the layout of the store. After we looked around we found the Coulee Point sectional that we liked. About that time, Warren joined us, and helped to get all of our questions answered and purchase it. I hate it when sales people follow you around all over the store. Luckily, Warren didn't do that. I've been to this location a couple times, and both times have not been impressed with the service. The first time, I was looking for a sofa and when I asked the associate about the final price after taxes and fees he gave me a price that included a furniture protection plan and all kinds of add ons that I didn't want. I later went and bought the sofa online at Ashley Furniture for about $1000 cheaper than quoted. The second time I went, I was immediately greeted and asked if I needed help looking, I said no and began my search for a dinner table. The associate that greeted me then followed me to every single room around the store, almost stalking me, as I looked around. I was so uncomfortable that I left. I understand that the employees want to make a commission, but come on, don't follow my every move. read more

Bought a coffee table on clearance they said it was a good and functional table but the one on the floor was the only one left. We loaded it up and I tired to take it out of the car only to watch it fall apart and parts go flying everywhere. From wooden dowels that were way too small to screws that did absolutely nothing I would have found better built stuff at a junkyard. For a company to even let this walk out the door without trying to make it worth buying is ridiculous and shows the quality and integrity of this company. You are a furniture store, at minimum put some wood glue and correct sized wooden dowels in to hold it into place. We are repeat customers and got treated like absolute garbage for them to just get rid of bad and cheap inventory. As soon as you sign the paperwork you are screwed with a crappy product that they will barley acknowledge they sold to you, we had to buy ratchet straps to keep it together and I will have to buy a lot of wood glue and bigger dowels to make it work. We have bought several pieces of furniture from this company and I'm proud to say they treated us like low life peasants and we will be shopping anywhere else but this company no matter the distance or the price because anything is better than Ashley read more

I had a terrible experience!! I saw a dinette set that I really liked in the Buck-head store, but decided to still look around. At finally coming to the decision that this set was the one I wanted I took a ride out to this location. The saleswoman who greeted me moved like she had lead in her Shoes. We had to wait to pull it up on the monitor because Someone else was on it and the other monster was broken. We finally pulled it up and the store manager told us it was on back order. I decided to leave because they seemed a little suspect as they answered me. I purchased a sectional on 12Oct2022 from Ashley furniture in Newnan Georgia. It was delivered shortly prior to thanksgiving and we notified them of burn marks on one of the pieces. A tech came out to fix the damages and while leaving, left staples all along our drive way causing injuries to our dog, children as well as requiring new tires on two of our vehicles. Please note, we have ring camera footage of the technician shaking our the blanket with staples out in our drive way which Ashley does not admit too even though provided the video. A complaint was filed with Ashley demanding immediate attention in which we were never contacted and a request was submitted for a different tech to come out and observe the damages. Upon arrival the second tech determined the couch was not in good quality with exposed wood and staples sticking out and ordered the piece of the sectional be replaced. Since then we have not heard from Ashley or anyone trying to correct the issue of injuries to our dog, children as well as requiring new tires on two of our vehicles. read more

I am EXTREMELY frustrated with Ashley's furniture! They always send us damaged items and we have to go through difficult times with calling customer service and making sure they can send someone out to " take " a look and then leave then requires us Calling back to get someone to pick up the damaged item. Customer service is horrible! Why would my husband and I pay FULL price for damaged items and for them to send someone out to fix something when there should be NO damage in the first place?! Ridiculous and I plan to cancel my credit card with them. Worst experience ever. Don't waist your money or time here. Worst employees and worst customer service ever. read more

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! My wife and I bought a $400 coffee from them. Upon delivery of our table, we noticed it and been chipped and damaged. The delivery guy told us to keep the table and that it will need to be settled with the store. When I went into the store they told us that we should have never let it stay on the house. The best they could do is send a technician out and not able to replace it. I'm not a picky person but do not see it appropriate to be forced to keep a piece of damaged, then refurbished furniture. They don't care about their customers receiving quality furniture. I will be sure that none of my friends & family buy from Ashley. Do not risk your investment. Unbelievable. I ordered the parts for the and I was told 2 to 3 weeks . I was told today the the parts and not going to be shipped out for another month! That's the beginning of November. And they don't considering waiting 2 months a problem or an inconvenience. The reason it's taking so long according to them is Covid . I asked why I had something shipped from England and it took just a little over 2 weeks and they are dealing with Covid and customs. I asked why everyone else in country has made adjustments but no them! Covid is just a cheap excuse . So according to them anything shipping out will take 2 months. Keep in mind this started the middle of august and it's now the 1st week of October. Once again no compensation for the inconvenience. . I had to spend another $600 to buy a bed. Shopping at the Ashley HomeStore in Newnan, GA was a pleasant experience. Mr. Brown was GREAT! The delivery procedure is the worst of any company I have ever dealt with. I was charged $130.00 for delivery. I expected that. I scheduled for delivery to be on a Saturday several weeks from when I placed the order. I was ok with that. I scheduled my current couch to be picked up the day before the Ashley delivery. Here's the trouble that I didn't know. Ashley furniture deliveries until 9:00 pm on Saturday night. I had made evening plans because it is Saturday, my day off, when they confirmed THE DAY BEFORE I had a timeline from 2:15 pm until 6:15 pm. I explained I had plans and was told they could bring it on Tuesday, but there again couldn't get a time because they decide the times based on the routes. Well, I work on Tuesday and I do not have nothing to sit on because I have had my other couch picked up. They deliver the couch on Saturday night and the sofa frame is broken. WOW, here we go again. I explained I was not going to take off of work to wait on a couch. Considering I paid $130 I would've thought I would have had some consideration, but nope. read more

Do not purchase from Ashley's furniture!!! We bought a $1600 sectional couch. Absolutely poor quality. We have had the couch 3 months, in the first month there was a rip on the couch cushion, now the couch looks like it has material balls all over it and the couch is barley used! I called to inquire about a return policy and they said they do not return furniture! I got corporates number and I called them and they said the same thing. Very unwilling to help a customer! Both times we have shopped Ashley's furniture we have had a great experience. Our livingroom set has held up nicely and our bedroom ser arrived and was put together carefully and without any damages. DO NOT BUY FURNITURE FROM ASHLEY!! I bought a sofa and recliner less than a year ago. The cheap foam in the recliner is already breaking down. I filed a warranty claim and it has taken almost 3 months to get any results. Worst of all, I bought a dresser, for $1000, for my son to use while at college. For that price, you would think that the quality would be good, if not great, right? I had also purchased the extended warranty, that, I was told, covered any type of damage except intentional damage. Well, less than a month later, two legs broke off. So, we filed a claim. First, they decided that it could not be repaired, and needed to be replaced. BUT, because my son's college was not close to the purchase address, they would not deliver to his address! Even though, this is a national chain, AND there is a Ashley warehouse near his address! This is like buying a T.V. at a Walmart in Chicago, and having to return to that store to get it replaced because you live in St. Louis! Second, the warranty company, (GBS), made it sound like they were doing us a favor by replacing the dresser, even though that is how it was represented to me at the Ashley store. There is no pride, or quality, in the cheap furniture that this store sells. Go somewhere else! read more

Do not puchase the furniture warranty, it is a scam. You get passed around and it takes weeks to get a "technician" to review the problem, who then submits a report to determine who is to blame for the defect. I admit that I only review when things are really good or really bad. This scenario with Ashley's Newnan store and corporate was a nightmare. On 5/23/2018, My mother and I visited the Newnan Ga Ashley Furniture store looking for a bed. In speaking with the salesperson, we informed him we were looking at a mattress at another store. The sales person stated it would be easier to buy both the bed and mattress and box spring at one store as there would only be 1 delivery price and we wouldn't need to deal with 2 delivery dates. We followed his recommendation. I asked several times what was included in the delivery and he stated that it was set up of the bed and removal of the old mattress and box spring. I inquired about removing the old bed and he stated that Ashley did not remove furniture just the old mattress and box spring. I asked again at check-out if the delivery cost included removing the old mattress and box spring and he confirmed. On 6/24/2018, the delivery team came to my parent's house to deliver the mattress and box spring. The delivery team asked where my parents wanted to move the old mattress and box spring. They told him that it was being hauled away. 1 gentleman on the team said ok and moved the old mattress and box spring. After setting up the new bed and mattress/box spring, they asked my Mom to sign for the delivery. My Dad asked when they were going to haul the old mattress/box spring. The 2nd gentleman who seemed to be the lead person stated that it was not on their paperwork to haul anything away. My Mother stated that we'd asked the salesman specifically if they would haul the old mattress. The gentleman stated again that it wasn't on his paperwork, so he couldn't take it. My parents asked them to remove the new bed, mattress and boxes spring. He refused. My Mother called me and asked that I speak to the delivery lead. I spoke to him and again stated that we were told that delivery included hauling the old mattress. He informed me that it wasn't on his paperwork so there was nothing he could do. I asked if he could stay on the line while I spoke to a local store and he stated no, he couldn't since he had other deliveries. I again attempted to explain the situation we were in and he said, loudly, that the issue was with Ashley not with him and that he wasn't going to take the mattress. I informed him to refuse the delivery, as my parents had no way of hauling the old mattress. He said "fine, whatever" and that he was going to take pictures of the new bed. My father informed the delivery team to take the new bed as they were not going to sign for it. The lead person said ok and that they were going back to their truck. They left and did not come back leaving the mattress against a chair in front of her dressing table and the table had buckled under the weight, hit the table and knocked over the items on the table and broke her lamp and some bottles. They also blocked the master bathroom door with the box spring. I called the Newnan store directly and spoke to a manager. She stated that there did not need to be any special indication that the old mattress should be removed. She then stated that she was going to contact the driver and put me on hold. When she returned she stated that the delivery team stated that the old mattress was extremely soiled and that they could not take it. I asked her why the driver continue to tell me and my parents that they couldn't move it because it wasn't listed on the invoice. She stated that she didn't know but spoke to her general manager could credit us $70. I informed her I wanted to speak to the general manager. I spoke to Ms. Brooks and explained the story again including the unprofessional tone in which he spoke to me. I also discussed how they handled the old mattress, leaning it against a chair. Ms. Brooks asked me to send pictures of how the delivery team left the old mattress and box spring and to contact corporate as she was only in charge of sales in her store, not the delivery. She also stated that there did not need to be any special notification for the delivery team to take an old mattress and when asked about the condition of the mattress she stated that it couldn't be soiled or wet but mostly it couldn't have rips or tears. Per her request, I emailed the pictures to her. As of today, I've not heard back from Ms. Brooks. Corporate Ashley Homes at first stated that the mattress was stained and then stated that it was the local store's fault as they never notated on the invoice that the old mattress should be removed. I asked her which one was it and she said the lack of notation on the invoice. I had to pay $140 out of pocket to have someone remove the mattress that same day as my 80 yr old parents couldn't navigate around their room. Not acceptable. read more

We ordered a bedroom set for our new house Mar. 8, 2020, the items were delivered in May as agreed upon. The bed in the guest bedroom did not come with all it's parts. The master bedroom set came with the bed manufactured improperly so it could not be assembled. We contacted Ashley and were told we had to have a tech. verify our problems which took 2 weeks to schedule. He came out and verified our problems, we waited a couple of days to contact customer service to see what was going to be done to fix our problem (as the tech told us to do) only to find out a report was not filed. The rep told us we could do this all ourselves right then with him, so why did we have to wait 2 weeks for a Ashley rep to come out for nothing. We slowly received the parts for the 2nd bed and have it assembled. Our main bed is still sitting on the floor taking up space. I asked for a simple 10% discount for the inconvenience that Ashley has put us thru with this long wait and they said no. We have been told an exchange is scheduled for this Friday but I have my doubts. Needless to say, DO NOT SHOP ASHLEY FURNITURE!!!! read more
