Do not waste your time, especially on FB Marketplace sales. I have spent a month searching high and low for a carrier to bring an item I had my heart set on from his store in Victoria to Queensland. After so many enquires, I had finally set up an arrangement that Peter agreed to. Everything was basically concluded. I asked how he'd like me to pay and I received this reply: "Sorry mate sold this morning l didn't hear anymore from you" This was after he had agreed to the deal with me the previous day. At the very least he could have contacted me, but no, he just reneged without saying a thing in order to make a quick buck before I had the chance to complete my payment (which I was ready to do but he hadn't provided any details). Overall, this is the most disturbing and disappointing outcome of any serious retail engagement I have ever experienced. I never expected such poor behaviour. I must say that due to the complete loss of trust I am now deeply doubtful about the quality of the piece. I may have had a nasty surprise if the sale and delivery had gone through. Spare yourself and your life these unnecessary shenanigans and keep well away. There is a distinct sense of all round dishonesty.

I think that it is so cool that this store is connected to the coffee house. The candles and body butter smell amazing. This is definitely a location to visit if you're in the area. Who doesn't love shopping and a nice place to dine. The workers were not requiring a mask so I assume it's not a requirement for this store, however, it was not overly crowded so I did not feel alarmed. I have been treated poorly in the past at other places and given the hook eye about my daughter (Dirty South associate for one). My daughter goes often with me and knows "don't touch, just look," or to ask me if she can touch - stuffed animals, toys, etc. I think any place that welcomes a mother exposing her children to experiences is A+! How will we have future pickers and vintage/antique lovers if we don't teach them? Or any aspect for that matter - if they aren't taught to swim they won't love the water. A Browns Crossing lady even offered to help me carry a large croc I purchased when I was visibly pregnant with my second daughter. It's sad to read other reviews about poor customer service, maybe it was just an off day? Too bad. Sweet bunch of people anytime I go... and not just to me because I'm pretty observant and I've watched communication with other customers as well. They also have a great selection and very fair prices in my opinion. Don't forget to check out the back house too!
