I do not under any circumstances recommend this Ashley Furniture store and I would like to share my experiences as to why. I went there on Saturday March 14th 2015 to purchase some furniture for my newly finished basement. When I found the set I would like to purchase (1 sleeper sofa, 1 ottoman, 1 chair, and 2 end tables), I had to hunt down a salesperson to actually help me. I found a clump of them lingering around the front of the store. They seemed to be apprehensive of helping. So I approached a woman and stated what I'd like to purchase. After getting everything in order (approximately a 30 minute ordeal) I was told my order could not be delivered until Saturday April 18th. At that point I asked why they could not have told me that before making me wait a half hour and that I would take my business elsewhere. A manager overheard and offered another 10% off. I took the deal under the auspices that it would in fact be delivered on the 18th to which everyone agreed would be no problem. I left the store not happy, but content with my purchase. Fast forward to Wednesday April 15th. I received a robo-call confirming that my order would be delivered between 12 and 4 on Saturday April 18th. I was pleasantly surprised and made arrangements to ensure I would be home that day. Later this evening I received a voicemail while I was out that my order was delayed and could not be delivered until Tuesday April 28th. As this was unacceptable I drove to the store to get a refund. Upon entering the store and explaining to the manager that I wanted a refund it took them well over 20 minutes to even find my order. After looking it up and doing what they could to find an earlier ship date, they explained to me that there was some shipping port in California that has their shipping containers and the people were on strike which delayed my order. They offered me a $200 gift card to keep the sale which I politely declined. (Why would I want to spend more money at a store that cannot deliver their items on time?) Had they offered me $200 off my purchase I would have accepted. But see, that's the rub. Nothing they sell in that store is $200, so the gift card offer was basically an invitation for me to spend even more money at this establishment. I received a refund to my credit card (which by the way I had already paid in full, which means I will need a refund check cut to me from my credit card company), and left. The funny thing is about my entire ordeal is at no time did any employee apologize for the inconvenience. Had they just said the words they were sorry, I more than likely would have kept my order and accepted a later delivery. I would highly recommend to anyone thinking of purchasing furniture at this store to go somewhere else. read more

We recently purchased a Kitchen table which is beautiful, and also a bed which are both made out of good quality wood, seriously they are solid wood!! We also purchased a patio suit which looks great in out courtyard! They also have bed linens and rugs which we also purchased, all kinds of home decor, big slections to choosse from!! Besides finding our furniture that we needed the experience there was fantastic, Dione was the sales associate and she was wonderful and so helpful! Even the manager Sondra was informative! Jessica in the financing department was SO pleasant to deal with!! Our furniture was delivered yesterday by Mike and Darren, even those guys were friendly and professional!! Our overall experience with Ashley furniture at the Newnan location was absolutely great, we would definately recommend them to anybody!! read more

The sales was great but when it came to delivery of the furniture to start with they were supposed to be there at 10:15-2:15 they didn't show up until 4:30 and they were rude and unfriendly they would not move an old couch across the room they didn't put new stuff in place left it in middle of the room they kelp stating that they could only move it one time and that was to bring into the house they also looked like thugs never again will these people be in my home. read more

I just moved from MA to GA where I needed to set up a home office. Robert was my sales guy...so ask for him! He juggled me and 2 other clients like a pro. I'm very particular (as most people are) when designing/decorating their home. I loved a desk that was black and brown, looked great, loved the style but I didn't like the color. Robert took his time to find the same desk in the rustic white color that I wanted. I also rolled 3 different chairs around the show floor to see which would match best. Not only did he let me take my time, but he also made me feel like it was his pleasure to help me find pieces of furniture that will give me a lifelong joy. I can not thank him enough, I walked in skeptical but at the end, I walked out with the home office of my dreams! Ask for Robert!!! Speaking to him as a person, very easy going, collected, helped you and didn't swarm/push you, and profession. Got the work done and I'm so glad he got a commission from my purchases. BTW, delivery guys were awesome! Box had a rip in it but they said they already evaluated the table and no damage was to be seen. Purchased a reclining sofa at the Newnan location. Sales associate was wonderful, Rhonda, and we were able to purchase what we went for. It was imperative that the furniture be delivered on a specific day as we were having a home renovation done. We received text messages a couple days before delivery, verifying the delivery window. Then at 5:20pm the night before, we received a voicemail that the sofa was damaged and it would have to be reordered. Needless to say, we were NOT happy! My fiancé had taken the day off work for the delivery and because we were not notified during business hours, he had to "burn" the day. After many phone calls, with the help of Jeremy and Erica, the new sofa was delivered one day before renovation began. Jeremy and Erica made sure once the new sofa arrived in the warehouse, that it was in perfect condition. The delivery personnel were professional and friendly. They had the sofa completely covered in blankets and shrink wrapped. The two men were wonderful considering they had to carry it up stairs to the loft! Reason we were concerned with delivery is the last time we bought furniture from Ashley, our furniture (2 full rooms) were delivered to another customer! How in the world do you deliver furniture to the wrong house, wouldn't the customer know what they ordered? So those men had to go back and retrieve our furniture! I gave them a 5 star, even though we had issues, because they handled the situation quickly, to our timing needs, professionally and financially. read more

I purchased furniture (about $2,600) from Ashley Furniture, Newnan, Ga.(in store) on October 14, 2019. I was lied to from the salesperson telling me I had to have a 15% down payment even with an 800 credit score. She said that was a Synchrony Bank policy. I went along with her but later found out that was NOT true. That was just the beginning of what has been a horrible experience with this store. About 10 days after I purchased, delivery was scheduled. The first delivery attempt was a complete disaster. ALL but 2 pieces of the furniture was damaged, a desk chair and king bed headboard. I stood at my from door and watched the delivery people drop each piece of furniture as it came off the truck, a 26ft panel truck with no lift on it. They proceeded to bring the furniture into my home hitting the walls and knocking several holes in the wall and hitting and damaging the ceiling when going upstairs. I refused everything that was damaged. I immediately called the Newnan, Ga. store to make them aware of what had happened but there was no mention of an apology but the woman said, we will get back with you after the delivery men make a report. After they finally contacted me about replacing the furniture in mid November I had to reschedule with them because we were leaving to go out of the country. The second deliver attempt wasn't much better than the first. When the delivery people arrived, before they uncrated it I ask that they bring it into my garage, which they did. I immediately noticed the boxes were badly torn and damaged and no surprise as they uncrated them both the desk and bookcase was damaged. A large mark/scratch on the desk and a large chunk of wood knocked out of the bookcase. As on the initial delivery the man made notes on his hand held computer. He also took pictures and said, Ashley will be in touch about rescheduling delivery. Well, almost 2 months went by and nothing from the Ashley Newnan, Ga store. I called 3 times asking for the manager but was told he was not there. So, I contacted Synchrony bank, the lender, to file a complaint. I will not allow the Ashley deliver people back in my home, I never got an apology for the damage from anyone. The delivery men had a terrible attitude. If you want to discount this furniture, fine, if not, you can come get it. Also, I purchased my mattress for the king bed from an Ashley store in Lagrange, Ga and didn't have any problem with them on purchase or delivery. They were much more professional! My entire new home is furnished with furniture from Ashley but I will never buy Ashley furniture again. My understanding this is an Ashley Corporate store but did a horrible job of representing your Corporation. read more

Terrible communication. I paid in full and a month later had no couch, no date to get the couch. Customer no -service suggested I drive to the store and try to pick out another couch or get a refund. Did not find another couch I wanted, so provided my receipt for a refund which they refused to give me because the free pillows that come with the couch that is non-existent were given to me a month ago when I paid for the couch that I never received. So now I have to drive home, get the pillows that are now used, drive back to the store and hope to get a refund. And I still have to shop for a couch. I did not appreciate being made to feel like I was trying to steal pillows. I was just trying to purchase a couch and Ashley Furniture took my money even though they have no idea when such couch will be available. Ridiculous! Will never shop there again. read more

Ashley has been in our top 3 furniture stores for over 15 years. We just relocated to GA and decided to freshen our home decor via Ashley. Robert (salesman) was attentive to our needs, friendly, and patient. He walked the showroom floor with us, introduced and showed us how to use the new kiosk, and even honored my request for the online price of the dining room chairs. He even directed us to the service window to order replacement glass for a table damaged in the move. We left the store feeling good about the service and quality of the items purchased. read more

Best furniture shopping experience in my life!! I walked into this store on a Thursday needing three beds with mattresses, nightstands, dining room table and coffee table. Hard part was I needed it by Saturday, two days!!! We had just found out we got our house and was moving in on Saturday. I was very politely greeted by Quan Mixson as soon as I walked in. I had laid out my whole situation and stressed how I didn't think it was possible in such a short time. He calmed me down and assured me we would be able to get it done! I was a chicken with my head cut off looking through all my options, I found ones I liked and he would immediately put them into the system to see if they were available in the warehouse. If they weren't, we were back on the floor and our phones looking for another I would like. We spent a little over two hours together picking 3 different mattress, 3 beds, dining room table, coffee table and nightstands! I thought it would take me at least six hours! To say I am happy is an understatement. I could not have done this without the patience, understanding, knowledge of all the ins and outs of Ashley Furniture and guidance from Quan. He kept me going even when I was tired and wanted to give up and sleep on the floor!! In my opinion, Quan is management material! Thank you for such an easy shopping experience! read more

Ordered 2 bedroom sets online 4/10/18 they were supposed to be delivered last week 5/2 and nobody ever showed up. I called to see what happened and they said they didn't have my right number. Set up deliver for the following week 5/9 and they said someone would deliver the furniture between 1 and 5 and that some one would call me when they were on their way. I got a text at 1 that he was in my driveway I texted I was on my way. I got home at 1:10 and nobody was there. I called him and he said he already left that he had been there since 12:20 and he had been driving for 15 minutes and he wasn't about to turn around. I call the 1800 number upset and they said they were putting my beds on another truck and someone would deliver them this afternoon. I waited till 6:30 and called the 1800 number again only to find out that my stuff had been taken BACK to the warehouse and I will have to call in the morning to reschedule. Nobody ever put it on another truck and I had waited all afternoon for nothing. Needless to say I will be calling tomorrow and getting a refund read more

Ordered a large sectional, cocktail & end table set and rug on the 6th, delivery was scheduled for the 9th between 1PM-4PM. Got the call that they were 20 minutes out at 12:45, they arrived a few minutes after 1, so right on time. Delivery guys were courteous and professional, getting the furniture upstairs without issue, and protecting our floors and doorframes with moving blankets. Overall the process was a great experience and I would buy from them again! read more

I wanted to return the rocker/recliner I purchased from Ashley Furniture, as the cushions are uneven, and the chair is not comfortable. I went down to the store, and also called the store. They indicated that I am unable to return the chair; that there are no refunds, and I requested that the manager call me back. The manager of the store will not return my calls. I've called the Customer Care line and they were of no help. I would never return to this store, and would not recommend it! read more

My husband and I ordered a complete room package in mid-January. We asked to delay picking up our items until the first weekend in Feb. when we were moving into our new home. We were told that they were out of the accessory kit we wanted at the store, but that it would come with the rest of our order to the warehouse. When we got to the warehouse to pick up the items, they told us the accessory kit was on back order still and it would come to the store. We were to be called when it arrived. Fast forward almost a month and we finally received the call that our kit had arrived and we could come pick it up. I drove to the store less than 3 hours later only to find that it was not there! I was told that a sales associate had probably given it to another customer even though it had our name on it! They offered to replace it with another set, which I had already seen and didn't like... that's why I ordered the set to begin with instead of taking one of the ones they had on hand! The customer service rep was less than helpful. She said they would order another set and it would arrive sometime in MARCH (2 months after our original order). I asked to see a manager, and was told he wasn't in the store. Was told he would call when he got back from lunch. He never called. My husband called 2 days later and again was told the manager was not in the store, but that he would call us back the next day. 2 more days have passed and still no call from the manager. Is this common practice? To give an item that has already been paid for by a customer who has been waiting a month for it to arrive to someone else?! They admitted to KNOWING it was there, and that it ABSOLUTELY had our name on the box. But yet someone just decided their customer was more important and gave OUR paid for item to them! I am angry and want someone to make this right, but I don't have much hope for resolution. But you can bet I will tell EVERYONE who will listen not to shop at this store!!! read more

My wife and I purchased a bedroom suite from Rodney on January 15, 2012. When we entered the store, he did not immediately approach us. Instead, he allowed us an opportunity to look at all the merchandise. Then he introduced himself and asked if he could be of assistance. We told him what we wanted and he made sure we received the absolute best price. He did not pressure us into buying, but instead, he guided us as we made our selections. Rodney also stayed after closing to help us complete our purchase. The employees in this store were welcoming, obliging, and professional. Our furniture was delivered on January 28, 2012 (the date we requested) and the delivery team was equally obliging. Noel and his delivery team exemplified professionalism and took great care with our home and our new furniture. They were patient with us as we tried to determine the most suitable location for each piece. Noel and his team even placed moving blankets on our newly stained concrete floors and on our new hardwood staircase and hardwood floors upstairs to prevent scratches. It was no easy task for them to maneuver the oversized pieces up the stairs, however, without complaint they worked for over an hour and behaved as true professionals the entire time. My husband and I recently purchased a bedroom set from Ashley Furniture Homestore in Newnan, GA. What began as pleasant experience soon turned bad. Although our salesman was very friendly and helpful, he repeatedly told us that we would be getting a 5 piece set for a specific price. He went item by item showing us on the screen what we would be getting for our money. However, when our delivery came, we were short an item - a large, pricey item. When we addressed the store manager about the salesman's mistake, he said the salesman had made a "goofy" mistake in claiming that item came with the package and selling it to us under that impression, and that our only option was to buy it (with a slight discount) and get it 9 days later. We felt completely mislead in our purchase and had experienced what we felt to be a "bait and switch" sale. The store manager did apologize once, but wasn't eager to offer any deals such as next day delivery (since our set had already been delivered) or much of a discount. We asked for a day to think about whether or not we wanted to return the set. When we went back to the store with our decision, the store manager seemed blatantly annoyed that we asked to handle it with him - and he quickly designated a salesman to do the dirty work. Subsequently, this next salesman (too!) went on to misspeak about the refund policy should that be our choice - telling my husband that he could get his money back same day if we wanted a refund. In fact, the policy is that you will not get your money back until all pieces are picked up, dissembled and back in the warehouse. At which time, you MIGHT get your delivery fees back. Overall - the store manager and his team need a lesson in customer service, and obviously on their store policies. We highly recommend dealing with another furniture store. Don't let them take you for your money! read more
