Over the past couple of years, I have become a regular at Belk due to their solid selection of business casual attire. So, naturally when my dad was after a few polos and some pants, we loaded up and headed for Belk in Ashley Park. Between the two of us, we were able to scoop up a 3 polos, 2 button-ups, three pair of jeans, a pair of socks and a t-shirt that totaled about $350. Not the cheapest, but I was good with it. The majority of cost came from the jeans, which had lackluster sales honestly. Speaking of sales, Belk is usually pretty good at having sales worth checking out. Outside of a pair of jeans, I do not think I have paid full price for anything else at Belk. As echoed in many other reviews, the service is a bit lacking here. We walked by or were passed by a number of associates that never spoke a word to us and while the cashier was efficient, she was less than up for conversation outside of the Belk credit card. Overall, I do not mind this Belk location. I come here for the goods, not the conversation, but they could work on that part to make the full experience a bit better. read more

Purchased $239 in items from Belk Newnan on 6/13. The 30 day return policy is NOT on the receipt. I tried to exchange sizes when I was back on this side of town - about 45 days later - and was told no. NO exchange, NO return. NOTHING. She pointed out the ripped return policy sticker on the counter - like I stop and read stickers on the countertops? Belk will no longer get any business from me. They literally know my parents on sight and say hello by name and they will no longer shop here either. Too many other places to spend our money. read more

Horrible customer service in the jewelry department, asked fror some help and the young lady seemed to be really mad at the world. It showed her ability to speak in a courteous and positive manner to a customer. I purchased a 1700.00 watch and was advised by sales clerk that i would receive an email with tracking information etc shortly via email. Three days later no email and no information listed online that i made the purchase. Stopped by the store and the female clerk was rude as one can get and when i asked a simple question she escalated to a manager saying i was rude. I was concerned that a watch that i had paid for may have been a mix up and or a problem. The manager "Aaron" was incredibly kind and called customer service to find the watch, needless to say it had not been selected (pulled) and or packaged for shipping. I advised to please cancel the order ill get one somewhere else, my thinking is, if you cant give better service and a watch is not shipped as agreed then we have a slight problem, I advised at time of of purchase it was gift and would appreciate it on time. I got an email that the sale had been canceled, finally, the conduct of the clerk at the jewelry department contributed to me canceling this order, if i'm going to spend money on a watch id appreciate it if there was some good old customer service, doesn't matter if the watch cost 170.00 or 1700.00 Ill not be going back. read more

I love the selection here but the customer service needs to be improved. I was shopping for a men's suit and no one was in the department. I walked to jewelry and had the associate call someone so they could assist. 25 minutes later and no one has came. I told another associate that I needed help and she told me that someone should be over there. No one ever showed up. read more

They do LIE! The salesperson asked for my email. I usually say no and I did. She then told me that would be how I could keep up with my receipt , needless to say, no receipt in my email. I have just been bombarded with bunches of solicitation emails from Belks. read more

The store is open full of customers but only THREE CHECK OUT REGISTERS ARE OPEN !!! An elderly man waiting in line for 15 minutes to pay on his account, but finally gave up bc no one showed up. The store is in disarray; clothes scattered everywhere. It looks more like a discount store vs an upscale chain. WTH is going on @ Belk???? read more

Going shopping at Belk Dept store is a place where I have always enjoyed going. However, theee days after Christmas, a lot of people are returning items that they have received for gifts myself being one of them. The older lady taking returns at this particular register was rude and complained about all the returns she had already processed previous to me. Do better Belk! I am not happy what so ever. I went into the store for the first time to get sized for a bra and lord knows this isn't the place to go. I was told that shelia was the right person to the job. unfortunately she didn't know what she was doing. They also lied about tg credit card to use in the store saying it wouldn't hurt my credit. this came from the manager to the employee Nina. I've lived in Carrollton my hole life and will probably never walk back into this store. It is a horrible disgusting mess! I don't understand how a store can be so outdated and stuffed full. If you have to go to Belk go the one in Newnan. It is probably the second nicest one I've ever been in but you know what store is way better then any Belk? Pretty much any online retailer. read more

Took 2 entire laps of the store just trying to find an open register to pay for my items. Price didn't match price it was showing me on app. Was told that was only for online orders. If I actually come into the store and possibly see other items to buy, store should match that price. If I didn't want to deal with the hassle I almost sat down to order the item in my hand on line, but didn't want to have to come back later. Disappointed. read more

3.5 Stars I can't always find what I'm looking for in Belk, but they do have good sales. I just wish prices were posted more effectively, and that things were kept more orderly. They have a nice fine jewelry counter, a decent shoe and handbag department, and a large home department. The store is relatively new so it is still clean-looking, which I find important. read more

Walked into belk for the 1st time - I was greeted by such a nice staff woman in juniors Super cute clothes The dressing room is a disgrace, hooks broken off the wall & clothes everywhere Had a coupon for $10 off and the same woman who cheerfully greeted refused to scan my coupon?! I spent over $100 and she won't scan my coupon because it's for regular price merchandise. I had 2 sale, 1 clearance, and 1 regular price item. Bathrooms were disgusting. Feminine products and toilet paper all over the floor. Every single stall was filthy. Store was very unorganized and the signs for each section of the store were off. I couldn't hardly find the dresses and the juniors section was not marked it was confusing. And not a single employee offered to help me. Paula D in ladies department went above and beyond customer services. She is the BEST associate I've ever had in any department store I tried on several garments and she went and found other sizes while I was in the dressing room we narrowed down exactly what type and size I needed. I just got off work last night and walked to belk, I was tired and wanted to go home. I tried on 4 shirts and I decided I needed to save my money. My dad texted me that he was out side and I needed to leave, as I exited the door this man stopped me and told me I walked out the dressing room with 3 shirts instead of 4. I showed him where the shirts were and I did yell at him because I've never been accused of shoplifting in my life. As well as not getting a hello or a bye come again. They don't send out coupons like they used to so when I got a 15 percent off for my birthday I went to use it, got a gift card for my birthday. The guy in the shoe dept says you can't use a coupon when you pay with a gift card you have to use your Belks charge card. I used the gift card it cost me 14 dollars more, I don't think this is good business. I told him I will tell my friends and family NOT to buy me Belk gift cards ever again, same thing happened at Xmas, if you don't need my business I will go some where else, I spend a lot of money in shoe purchases alone to be worth you honoring a coupon you sent me as a birthday gift, thanks for nothing! read more

Alright store who has several lines of shoes that I like and I used to get great service ---They used to have good to great service --but there is an older woman with gray hair in the shoe department who is horribly slow and rude. She gets the charges wrong, takes forever to get the wrong shoes --and seems confused --terrible service. Her name is Deb (I think?). Most recently, she got very rude when I asked for a pair of shoes half a size larger. There are other women in the department who are very helpful -but unfortunately, I seem to usually get there when the only this older woman is available. Why they keep her is beyond me as she is horrible. The fact that they keep such an incompetent employee just shows how far this store is falling. Last time, I tried to wait for someone else to help me but she just kept standing by me and insisting on helping me --then was rude when I asked for a different size?
